I bought my first pair of Keen Whispers years ago when planning a trip to New York City. I took other shoes to wear on this trip but, these were so comfortable I wore them the entire time there. My sister and I walked EVERYWHERE and these didn't rub blusters and I didn't stub my toe when walking clumsily along while site seeing. These shoes are pretty much a staple item for me...I even use them when getting on my elliptical. :) I love sandals and would wear these everywhere if I could get by with it.

I was hesitant to spend so much on summer sandals but am now kicking myself for not ordering them sooner! These shoes are so comfortable you forget you are wearing them. They are perfect for chasing the kids in the park during the summer. They have even passed the day at a theme park test. No breaking in was required. I bought my daughters the children's version of this shoe and they love them too. No blisters this summer and no stumbling over flip flops.

I love these shoes. I have been hiking in them and they grip perfectly on the rocks. I even tried trail running in them and my feet felt amazing. You must get them!

This is my second pair of these shoes. They are the best! No break in. Fit well. They are durable and have saved my feet! Thank you Keens!

This is my second pair and I love this style. Wear them all the time for swim aerobics but also for walking...especially on the beach. True to size, comfortable and well made. Worth the bucks.

Terrific shoes if you need a light hiking, rock crawling, beach kind of activity shoe. Never had to "break them in" and they didn't cause any blisters at all. Wish I could wear them to work! I highly recommend this brand.

I have narrow, flat feet and wanted a sporty sandal with solid arch support. Even though these didn't come in a narrow width, based on reviews that it ran narrow I gave it a try. I am so glad I did. The first time I wore these I was outside on my feet for 10 hours straight. The arch support kept my feet and lower legs ache-free. They were very lightweight and comfortable. I would highly recommend these! I normally wear a size 9 and ordered a 9.5 which fit perfectly.

First of all...I ordered these on a Monday night & got them by Thursday! Such fast shipping from Zappos! And second...the shoes are great. I was looking for some Summer hiking/walking shoes and these are perfect. So comfortable and waterproof!

I LOVE these shoes. They were true to size, but my feet are between an 8 and 8.5 and I got an 8 because I heard to err on they air on the small side. They're an all-around comfortable shoe and aren't too obnoxious-looking so I'm wearing them more often than I thought I would.

I ordered a half size larger than usual as suggested by a number of reviewers. The shoes felt fine when I tried them around the house, but after only two wearings, they have stretched and are now too large. Since I have worn them (and discarded the box), I guess I cannot return them which is too bad as I bought them specifically for an upcoming trip that will include walking around in the tropics. I'll ask Zappos, but I am not optimistic. Zappos is a wonderful resource, but worn is worn.

Needed to upgrade my old archless Chaco watershoes because I walk on the beach and in the water lots in the summer with my dog. Was thrilled to find a comfy watershoe with some actual support. My back is happy! I ordered half a size up as many suggested, which was definitely the way to go. Amusingly enough, several friends who hit the beach lots in the Pacific NW have the same shoes. Great minds, and great color choices!

This style of sandal was not appealing to me initially. In fact, I saw other women wearing it and figured I'd never be caught dead in a pair. But over time, I saw and heard women raving about them, so when I needed a sandal with toe protection and a good grip on wet surfaces, I tried them on and eventually bought the Whisper. And then they sat in my closet, as their looks still weren't appealing to me. When I was taking a trip abroad where I was told to be prepared for wet slippery surfaces, I took another pair of sandals, planning them to be my main "wet" shoe. At the last minute, I tossed these into the suitcase, never having worn them but you never know. Well, was I glad I did! The first time I ran into a wet slippery surface, I slipped and slid around in the other sandals, scaring myself half to death. I decided to try my Keen Whisper sandals next, and it was a love affair that grew on me. I ended up wearing them every day for hiking and sightseeing in all kinds of rocky, gravel, cobblestone, paved, steep, etc. terrain, wet and dry, and I never slipped. They were completely comfortable to wear from the first day, and I was sure-footed everywhere. My feet felt protected and "the look" grew on me. I'm a fan now of my Keen sandals and they are my "go to" shoe if I'm going to be doing a lot of walking in a variety of wet or dry conditions.

I have 3 pairs of this shoe! Love them! Recently I broke my toe and have to wear hard soled shoes. These shoes work perfectly to support my toe. Also, I love the lighter color. My other two pairs are mostly black. I usually wear a 10 but wear 10.5 in these. They are also wonderful if they have to get a bit wet!

I love these so much I bought another pair in tan. They are like walking barefoot but with arch support. I bought a half size larger because of other reviews. They are perfect. I can adjust the width to fit my narrow foot. I can also wear them with socks. they are not the prettiest shoes but the most comfortable ones I own.

Keens in general are fabulous sandals for the active. I appreciate Keen for their sense of color and style. It's function and fashion all in one. I need support on my feet at all times due to higher arches and poor leg circulation -- I wear them all summer -- to the pool, lake, walking around town, coaching.

I am so happy that Keen has narrowed the shoe to look more feminine for the ladies and I love the new color choices. I love being a VIP Zappos Customer. Happy Camper.

I just got these yesterday and have only worn them once, but I'm in love! They are the most comfortable shoes I own next to my running shoes. I bought these for an upcoming trip to the Smoky Mountains, so for hiking, walking long distances, getting wet, etc. I have no doubt these will hold up and give me the support I need for such activities. I especially love the closed toe box for safety and durability combined with the versatility and quick-dry features of a sandal. (Or what my husband calls a "river shoe.") These are going to be go-to walking shoe for summer. The bonus is that they can get wet no problem as well! As for them running a bit small, I agree. If you hover between sizes like I do (7 or 7 1/2 in my case) definitely go for the bigger size. I'm glad I did. Also, I have bony feet and skinny ankles and I had absolutely no problems making these tight enough with the bungee cord. I was concerned about that but it was no problem at all. In all, I'm very satisfied. Great shoe, exactly what I wanted!

These are great shoes! I have many colors and wear them all summer, in the water, out of the water, shopping, church...my go to shoes for sure.

I love this shoe. I've been on the hunt for summer hiking shoes and sandals for a while and ordered these on a whim. They immediately felt just right on my foot and have ever since, and I've been wearing them every day for about two weeks. I have large, wide feet, so I used to avoid Keens because of the 'bumper' toe - it tends to make big wide feet look clownish. The toe on this one is very diminutive while still serving its purpose. I got a 10.5 and it fit my wide feet comfortably and feels not quite a half size larger - not enough to send back, just a little extra roomy in the toe box. I wear a 10.5-11, so that's perfect for me.

These are super comfy shoes that don't need to be broken in. If you're looking for a summer active shoe, I definitely recommend these!

Excellent customer service! I had to exchange my shoes for a bigger size, and they were delivered 2 days later. The shipping was free, which is huge. I would definitely place an order again, great experience!

I love these shoes! They are super comfy and are wonderful water shoes! I highly recommend them. I love these shoes for going to the splash park and water parks with my kids. Unfortunately for me, I lives with a lot of pebble rock and mulch landscaping. These shoes are annoying when walking through those areas because the little pieces get trapped in the shoes. Because of this, I have another pair of water shoes with a mesh surrounding. Those are less comfortable, but keep out the small things in my yard.

The most comfortable shoes. Keens are always great, and this style is also. Love the color. Fit is great right out of the box. Highly recommend.
