I ordered one of each style because I wanted to decide which one fit my foot the best. The reviews were good but the best thing is to try them on. He H'2 is narrower than the Whisper and the Hydro's. It is bulkier in look like the Hydro. I usually wear a 8 1/2 in dress shoes and a 9 in tennis shoes. I ordered a 9 and that was the correct length. I have a bunion on my right foot and this shoe was definitely to tight on that foot, but also fitted on my left foot. This shoe would be best for a narrow footed person. They had good arch support and were comfortable otherwise. The Hydro's are wider in the fit, heavier in feel and look but are very comfortable. I think they have the best arch support of the 3 styles. My problem with them is my hammer toe on the toe next to my pinky toe that causes it to ride higher. The hydro has a strap that rubbed a blister on that toe in a very short time of wearing it. Sadly I have to return them because I really liked the arch support and comfortable heel that would be good for long hikes. I also ordered the 9 in this shoe that fit in length well. I hope this helps other decide on the best shoe for them. The Whisper is the shoe I have chosen to keep but feel the 8 1/2 will be the best size. In the 9 I have a full thumbs length from the end of my big toe to the tip of the shoe. The are light weigh, comfortable but not quite as comfortable as the Hydro. There is arch support but not quite as much as the Hydro or H2. i have a old pair of Keens (at least 5 year old) and I love them. I think the Whisper is the closest to them too. I hope this review helps you decide on your best fit. I love the Zappos return policy!!

Very comfortable for all day walking even without having to use a sock!!!

Comfotable right out of the box and my current favorite sandal. Pretty color (rhododendron & marsala) but neutral enough for my wardrobe. Replacing a 9 year old pair of Keens - the glue on the sole detached - and somehow I like these new ones better than my old trusties!

I'm truly pleased. These are very easy to pull on and feel breeze yet protective. I like to have my toes protected and at least a strap wrapped around my heel so my sandals don't fall off when I'm walking with my kids. I've worn these in the backyard and at the beach and they're super easy to hose off. Love these! Will buy them again!!!

I needed a good summer shoe for frolicking in the river and these did just the trick. They help to make for a sure footed transition over rocks and algae. I ordered my size and a half a size up because of customer reviews and here’s what I found: Half a size up was too big. The straps fit my foot ok but there was a lot of room in the toes and heel. I then order d my original size and found that the base fit best and all the straps felt snug across the top of my foot, but I wore them for 10 minutes and decided that they were comfortable enough and stuck with my true size and returned the half size large. I love them and have been living in them since:)

Incredibly comfortable right out of the box. This is the third pair I have purchased. Reasonably good general support and good for walking.

the Whisper fits my narrow foot well without hurting my high instep and yet offers a roomy toe box. I am trusting they will loosen a bit as they are almost too snug (but I saw in other reviews that they do loosen) The arches do not reach Birkenstock standards, but I am hoping they give just enough support to be OK. Lots of great colors.

Looking forward to walking all over Costa RICO in these shoes.

I ordered these in the black and gray and also beet red. I ended up keeping the red because they fit better. The black was too loose feeling. I did go up 1/2 size to get a better fit. They are very comfortable on but not exactly fashionable. I like them for walking and getting wet so they fill my need perfectly.

I actually ordered an 8 on Zappos.com, but then went into my local sporting goods store to buy n 8.5 because I was in a hurry, but I still feel like I can leave a review on this shoe. I bought them right before a week-long hiking trip to the Sawtooth mountains, and they performed better than I expected. I hiked the trail, climbed up rocks, swam, and forced rivers in them. The soles have amazing grip for climbing rock faces, and I felt sturdy in the water. My feet have always been wider and shorter than the average foot, so I had a bit of space between my toes and the ends, but it didn’t bother me at all.

I am on my feet on both concrete and dirt for 8-10 hours a day for work, walking more than 5 miles. I broke my back in 1986 and by halfway through my day, my lower back is aching. Not anymore since I started wearing these shoes a month ago! Comfortable, adjustable, and no rubbing or blisters. I love them!

This is the second pair of Keen Whisper that I have owned. The original pair finally wore out after 5 years and many miles of walking & hiking. I find that the size & width were accurate. They are very comfortable for all day use and are easy to get on & off. I also love the color selection - something for all tastes!

I just received them and they feel so comfortable. My first time that I purchased from Zappos. I never heard of Keen shoes. I saw a woman in the street wearing them, but couldn't catch-up to her to ask her where she bought them. I then researched the different websites to find them. I have a problem with my feet so I need support when walking. I was wearing hiking boots even in the hot summer months in NYC. Not very cool at all. I definitely recommend them especially in the summer months in New York City. I am going to order another pair soon.

I tried the Keen Whisper, Venice H2 and Newport Hydro. The Whisper is the one I kept. It definitely has a lighter feel and lower profile than the other styles, but that's what I liked about them. I'm not wearing them for intense, rugged activities like hiking, just casual outdoor, beach, walking type activities. They are still sturdy and supportive, but if you're looking for something for more serious activity, I think Whisper could work but the others may be better. I've had keens that fit my true size and others that I've needed half size larger. I am normally 6.5. It was a close call,l but I exchanged this pair for a 7.

I really like these shoes. I'm so glad I paid attention to the other reviews and ordered up 1/2 a size. I usually take a 7½ M but ordered an 8. They fit exactly like a 7½. The width is medium but no more than that, so if your foot is on the wide side you might find these a tad narrow, but if you generally find a medium width ok, then these should be good too. If you plan on going on a trip and wearing these a lot, I recommend that you wear them for a week or so before hand and get your sole used to the slightly "pebbly" surface. I love the color. It's kind of a shade between grey and silvery and looks great with grey, white, black, blue jeans etc. The toe is reinforced so that you can't stub it, good for hiking or walking in water where unknown things lurk. These shoes are well made and cute. I definitely plan on getting another pair of Keens, khaki this time.

I have many pairs of Keen Whispers and this did not disappoint. The color is great and the comfort cannot be beat.

Fit and size are perfect, especially for my wide feet. I love the roomy toebox and the color (beet red/honeysuckle). Practical, comfy, and fun! I had an older, similar pair (but not the Whisper) that didn't have enough width for my foot on the foot bed. These seem to be wider, so my foot stays on the foot bed and doesn't slip over the edge. I love these shoes.

This is my first pair of Keen's! Love them. In sneakers & shoes of this type, I normally wear a 6 1/2, sometimes a 7 in a medium width. The reviews I read suggested the shoe was running slightly small so I ordered a size 6 M and they fit perfectly. Great summer shoe. Totally comfortable right out of the box. I like the feeling of stability this shoe provides..sort of hugs your foot & no slipping or sliding off the shoe even when wet.

I have purchased Keen Whisper shoes every couple of years for a while now and usually have two different colors any given summer. I wear them daily on summer vacations and have walked 10 miles a day without complaints. The pair I received this time had a part poking into my big toe - just on one foot. So either I got a bad pair or they changed the design slightly - for the worse. I will consider trying a different pair/color/vendor to test this out.

When looking at these sandals I read the reviews. Many mentioned to order a half size up if you have wide feet, which I did. When I got them, they were too long. I then ordered a size 10, which fit great. I just needed to adjust the cords to fit my wide feet. I really like the style and the light weight.

Normally I take a 7 1/2, but it was decidedly too small. The 8 was roomy enough to allow wiggle room for my toes without the shoe feeling sloppy on my foot. It also allowed for room after a full day of walking for the feet to swell just a bit but still be comfortable in the shoe.

These are my second pair of the Keen Whisper sandals. I have worn the first pair EVERYWHERE to include water sports, hiking, beaching, long distance walking, etc. The only reason I am getting another pair is because i wanted a new color! With all the miles, hard miles, on my first pair, they are still fine. These are great. I am wearing my new color on a cruise. My Keens and a [air of dress sandal for the evnings are all I am bring for shoes. Who needs anything else?? Yay!

I absolutely love these shoes!!! I needed a shoe for walks in the hot summer. I overhear quickly and have always worn tennis shoes. I decided to splurge on these and am so glad I did. They’re super comfy, cool for my feet, and I can wear them in and out of the water. I love them so much I’m buying my dad a pair for a gift so that he can use them for walks, yard work, and kayaking.

I wear size 11 shoes and these are my second pair of Keens. These are fantastic and fit like a glove. They’re very comfortable and light. Highly recommend.
