Comfortable right out of the box. Wore for an hour on cement today and felt great on my sensitive feet. I can even wear these with thin socks. Am fighting the urge to get another pair.

I needed sandals with a closed toe for climbing downhill, which I do every day. These are attractive, super-comfortable and rugged. I really like the red color I chose; the white stitching makes them quite pretty.

I already owned one pair of the Whispers (bought at a shop in Stanley, Idaho while on vacation), so it didn't surprise me that this new pair in blue would also be "out of the box" comfortable. And, they are! I have very flat feet, one extreme bunion and one moderate bunion, and these sandals look great, feel great, and are as perfect for light hiking ( I live in Utah) as they are for running around town. I totally recommend them!

The size ran true to size and very comfortable. The smoky blue is a good color and the shoes are stylish. They feel secure climbing on rocks along the shore.

Like a match made in heaven. Super comfy. Happy to find the Keen 'New Port ' sandals that fit my feet, finally. This is my first pair after almost twenty years, no kidding, of checking in from time to time. My family have and like them, but I had no such luck until I encountered this pair.

These shoes are so nice looking! Great style. They don’t feel heavy on my foot like some athletic sandals.

Some of the reviewers said that this shoe worked for narrow feet. I was concerned because I have a wide foot. I had purchased a pair in brown about six years ago and they fit me. I hoped that the shoe had not changed. My new black Keens were just as comfortable and the same high quality as my first pair. These are an excellent gardening shoe for when it is warm/hot out. They are cool. They do not shift around on uneven ground like most sandals. They keep the feet reasonably clean and they hose off. There is nothing not to love.

these are cute and comfortable as ever! I now have whispers in smoke blue, black , pink, teal and this flowered/black. My first pair was beet red, a wonderful color. I buy the whisper even when it isn't on sale because it is lightweight, sturdy, adjustable, not clunky and great for long travel walks. (if we ever get to travel again :) I wouldn't mind a higher heel with soles the same color as the shoe but then it wouldn't be whisper.

I am a true 12 Narrow ... MUST have narrow for most shoes. 12.5 Narrow for athletic shoes. Does anyone feel my pain?!!! I read reviews diligently now, because it seems that shoe manufacturers are making fewer and fewer narrows in the longer sizes. Duh, we don’t all have wide feet! I’m 68, 6’0, and 155 pounds with a narrow foot. I read reviews about this Keen Whisper and thought it was worth a try. So, so glad I did (thank you, whoever you are who said that they were a little narrower than medium!!!!). I can wear them all day long and enjoy them on my feet. I love the cute print.

I love these. I have ugly toes to cover up but summer in Texas requires sandals. These are cute with everything; wore them right out of the box.

I love these Keens. I feel they run true to size and width. I might say they run a tad large because in a closed toe shoe, a size 9 is usually too short for me, but my toe does not touch the end of these shoes. Zappos is the best company for customer service I have ever dealt with. Returns are quick and easy and free. To add to that they ship overnight for free if you are a VIP member. If you are on the fence about ordering from Zappos, have no fear. Just do it. You will not be disappointed. Best company ever.

These were a last minute purchase for a trip to Disney World and a cruise to the Bahamas. I wore them straight out of the box 12+ hours. They were extremely comfortable walking all day. The sole is firm, yet they are lightweight and supportive, as well as cool in the tropical climate, even comfortable when wet. The toe protection was very reassuring walking through the crowds. They were my best purchase for my trip and will be my "go to" walking shoes. I normally wear a 9.5, needing a wide toe box. After reading other reviews, I ordered a 10, but these were too big, and had to exchange for my normal 9.5

I noted that the shoes are not true to size but I did get the size I needed. I wear an 8.5 ALL THE TIME. If I buy European sizing I wear 39. A huge number of the reviewers for this item said the shoes were too small. Most said a half-size but a few even said a whole size. I took their advice and ordered a 9 American. Glad I did because they fit perfectly. So I would agree that the shoes run a half-size small by American sizing. I like Keen shoes in general; the styling suits my life-needs and the materials used are long-wearing. But I particularly like this design. It fits my desire to wear sandals, but also satisfies my need to have my hideous toes hidden. Feet breathe well in these but if I add my black compression hose they look like a normal black oxford shoe.

Very comfortable. I have them in brown and liked them so much I ordered a second pair.

true to size, i'm in between a 9.5 and 10 they fit perfect, comfortable i normally will not wear shoes any shoes without a sock. i do not need socks . love the color combinations, will buy again

I've owned Keen's before and these are replacing a pair I've had for 10 years. I have one foot that is an 11 and one that is a 10-1/2 and the smaller foot doesn't move at all in the sandal. Had no issues with fit at all, comfortable since the minute I put them on and wear them all the time! Would buy these again!

YYES THESE WILL FIT NARROW FEET!!! I wear a 8-8.5 AA shoe size and and 8.5 fit perfectly!! The bunge drawstring will accommodate a narrow foot. I'm on my 5th pair! Not because they are not made well. I have lower back pain and ankle pain and these are my go to shoes for any extensive walking. After a year, even 2 years they are in great condition but I order more each year because I figure even though I can't see wear and tear after wearing so much a new pair will be better. I wear them with shorts, leggings, and Jean's and always get compliments on how cute they are. I can wear them on any every day basis, to river, beach, and water parks and they still look new. The Whisper style is less bulky than some other Keen sandals. Side note: I have bought the kids style for my grandson each year since he was 2 years old (he is now 8) he typically wears them from April to October ( we live in SE TX) and being a rough little outside kid they still look great after 6 months of use. Great anti bacterial footbed (helps with stinky kid feet) and I just throw them in with a load of towels and they are perfect. I highly suggest Keen sandals for both adults and kids.

After reading other reviews, I was really unsure what size to buy, so I bought an 8.5 and a 9. I’m glad I did! My foot is a true 8.5 W, and I thought the 8.5 fit okay, until I put the 9 on and realized just how much more comfortable it was. The 8.5 is going back. This is a sturdy, stylish shoe perfect for a day at the water park or river rafting when you need shoes on while you’re “swimming” and getting wet. I’m so glad I invested in these and not a cheap pair from a local neighborhood department store.

Love these Keens! It is my first pair of Keens, and I was skeptical of the heavy toe look. The comfort is phenomenal. The versatility is amazing! Looking for my next pair...

Got these to replace my previous pair (Newports?, a bit heavier) which rotted off my feet after 7 years of faithful service. Got them for a river trip and ended up living in them during the summer. Mostly use them around the house and garden. These have moderate arch support. I could use a bit more arch support, but they are super comfortable. Don't usually use them for hiking because they don't provide a lot of support, but will do in a pinch. I've been hoping they would make these with a fine mesh/fabric in the openings since they let in mud and rocks in sloppy conditions and you have to take them off to get the debris out. The mesh would allow water drainage without letting in the chunks.

I typically am a 6 1/2 but in gym shoes I size up to a 7. Plus other reviews suggested as well. They fit great and are very comfortable for walks.

Love these sandals. I usually order a wide due to a bunion and hammer toe but these are adjustable and I am wearing them with no issues in a medium width. These are sporting sandals and aren’t gorgeous.....but I’m not into gorgeous!

I really like these, haven't had them long enough to wear longer than a couple minutes. I've bought cheaper brand/style of these and you definitely get what you pay for. These are much more sturdy, comfortable. I'll wear these on an upcoming cruise for shore adventures. They'll work on the beach and also for strolling through town and walking trails. Flip flops just don't work for me! These are a bit roomy in the toe box area which I really like and the rest of the shoe tightens up nicely with the pull string. Overall...very pleased with this purchase!!
