I enjoy the funky dark red color for this funky style. The straps are a woven ribbon-like material, lined. They are cool in hot weather, but provide sneaker-like protection for the toes and sole. The ability to adjust the fit over the top of the foot was important to me, as I have narrow feet with a very thin, flat instep. I might be very sensitive, or perhaps because my foot slides slightly in the shoe, but I found that the textured insole was a little abrasive on longer walks. Hence the reason for downgrading to 4 stars.

I love my new Keen Whisper sandals. They are so comfortable, I almost never take them off. The only thing I didn't like was the color of them. I thought they would be more blueish than turquoise. But the fit is great.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned! I had no interest in Keen sandals because they always looked so clunky, but then noticed a friend wearing a pair that looked a little different. She told me they were the Whisper model, and I tried hers on, and they felt so good I had to order a pair. I still think they are not the most beautiful sandals, but they are great for walking around on a hot summer day.

Great summer shoe for when more support is wanted than a sandal. I felt the length is true to size, but be aware that the straps are snug and will irritate if your feet swell at all.

I ordered the Whisper (my first ever pair of Keen\'s) because I liked the look of the narrow staps and loved the bright blue color! Unfortunately, even after going up 1\/2 a size, I was having an issue with my heel hanging over the back of the shoe. I think this may be due to the fact that the Whisper has a stretchy back strap, different from that of the Newport or Venice styles. My new Venice H2\'s arrived today and they are definitely keepers - more airy and no issue with the back strap. Also, a little more room in the toe box, which is good for my slightly wider foot. The Whispers are super cute and very light, but if you are planning to do a lot of hiking I might recommend a different style.

This shoe ran a little narrow for me. Regardless, it is my new "go to" for summer. I love that the footbed is not fabric. It dries out quickly if you get it wet and it holds no odor.

Very comfortable, excellent sandals that feel like a tennis shoe. I have very narrow feet, and these are the only Keens that actually fit my foot shape. The only issue I have with these is that because they are not very breathable, my feet get quite stinky. However, the shoes are also easy to wash, so that problem can be fixed as well.

I wish they came in a narrow width. But even with my narrow feet they do stay on when I dive into the pool. Also, they run one half size large. If they came in narrow I would give them a "5" as they are very comfortable.

As a faithful Keen wearer, these aren’t my favorite because my foot does not sit comfortably. Usually wear size 8, but they were too big in the toe area; 7.5 fits in toe area, but heel is right on edge & not quite right. Will keep them as Keen cushioning works for me.

Usually wear a 7.5 N, but the 8 fit, so order a 1/2 size larger. Not much arch support, so your feet tend to angle inward a bit. Good shoe for those with narrow feet. Pretty comfortable. My favorite Keens so far.

I am just going to comment on the fit, because obviously these things are too cute! I typically wear a 9.5 and have had ordered these in a 9 and 9.5. I ended up keeping the 9. I will echo the comment below that my heel continually seems to be hanging off the back of the sandal. It\'s almost as if the hole you slide your foot into should be centered further toward the toe of the shoe. But, what I want to say is, ordering a size bigger doesn\'t solve this problem, so if you can\'t live with it, don\'t go through the hassle of ordering the next size up. It just gives you more room in the toes.

The ol' plantar fasciitis is acting up and I need some new sandals. I wear a UK 42 or US 11-11.5 and need a narrower shoe. These were good on the latter point. As for length, they fit but didn't give any extra room at the toes. These are a beautiful color, cute and strappy (and a little more feminine than older styles). Unfortunately, what I need right now is good arch support and these just didn't have it so they had to be returned. Ditto for the Whisper Mules. Too bad.

Comfortable for most conditions, and wonderfully lightweight. Washable, but the neoprene lining slows its drying.I presume it would be a great beach or boardwalk sandal, though I'm not a beach person. My foot is narrower than the B width bought. Using the drawstring type tightener, I have found the shoe very comfortable when just idling, or when outdoors in normal conditions for me (training dogs in a swamp or on sand and water in cranberry bogs). It proved inadequate to walking over large, wet rocks, because there was no way to tighten the ankle area sufficiently and my foot slipped a lot. Can I say N/A for fashion rating? I don't get how this shoe can have such a rating, or why anyone would care.

Please be advised the color is much brighter than the main image or the enlarged images show (I thought they would be a pretty dull Blue). They were more like Bright Turquoise. These actually fit my foot a little better than the Keens I'm getting, but I didn't like how bright they were and probably a great river sandal.

Very light and comfy. Much lighter than original Keens, but without the arch support. Despite that, were the answer for a 2 week vacation. Work well in and out of the water. I got the shoes for all things Florida including Disney World, South Beach and Key West. Worked great for all. These are not the most attractive sandals you\'ll ever own thanks to the colors, but you will find them comfortable day after day. They run mostly true to size, maybe a bit small. all in all, great buy. I\'d get another pair if only they weren\'t so limited in color selection.

It\'s very comfortable in and out of the water. The secure fit and durability are great for sailing. I think the sizing runs a 1\/2 to full size large. I have a pair of Tevas in the same size and the Keens are bigger. My foot tends to sit at the back of the shoe. Overall, I\'m happy with it\'s performance.

Love these shoes. Totally wearable for hours and miles right out of the box. Based on others comments on Keen, I did order a half size larger than normal which proved necessary. I\'ve returned other Keens for the toe being short in my regular size. Although I\'m disappointed in the arch support, these shoes are being worn regularly. Concerns over how they would feel without socks were put to rest as they are soft and comfy in the foot bed with no rubbing. I recommend these to all hikers, walkers, gardeners etc.

I love these shoes. They are my third pair of Keens. They are light-weight, extremely comfortable and very sleek compared to my other Keens. The one issue with them is they run big. I usually wear a size 9 1/2. I got these and they were huge. I sent them back and got a 9, and still too big but I kept them because it was beginning to be a hassle. They are a little too roomy now but fine.

I have narrow feet and it is always very difficult to find sandals. As soon as I put the Whisper on I knew I would buy it. I did have to go up 1/2 size for toe room. I purchased the black and gray combo and like it very much. I work at a garden center all summer and my feet get wet. Sandals dry quickly, have good stability and comfort throughout the work day.

I really wanted to love this shoe, since I do like keens! Unfortunately, though, it just didn't fit quite right. I'm usually a size 5.5 in Keens, and the 5.5 fit fine in the footbed and heel, but my big toe barely came under the rubber part. I don't know why. So I tried a size 5, but it felt too tight and my heel hung off the end a little bit. I decided to send both back. It's too bad because the brindle colorway is really pretty, and the shoe does have a more streamlined feminine look than some of the other Keen water shoes.

I love these Keens. They are a little bit narrower, lighter and less bulky than most other Keens I have worn, and those qualities are what I appreciate most. I haven't even used them backpacking yet, but I know they will work very well. Meanwhile, I find myself slipping into them in the mornings, forgetting all about my semi-arthritic feet the rest of the day--so comfortable! I don't feel they are quite true to size.

The sole provides a good rubbery grip on your foot, so no sliding, even when wading through a puddle. However, because the rest of the shoe is made entirely of stretchy fabric, I didn\'t feel like there was much support\/stability offered. After wearing a few times, it felt like the fabric had stretched to the point where the shoes were a bit loose. Maybe a smaller size would\'ve helped alleviate this issue? \r\n\r\nOverall, a comfy all-terrain shoe, just a little lacking in solid support around the top of the foot.

These shoes are great, but they do run a bit large. I have a pair of Keen H2s that I LOVE, and I wear a 9.5, but I needed a 9 in these!

These are my new favorite shoes! They have the Keen comfort without being so big and boxy. The length seems to be true to size.
