Great shoes, instantly comfy. They do run a bit smallish. They fit without socks. With socks I would need an 8. I will buy more of these for sure!

Absolutely love these sandals. Very comfortable. Love them so much that when I realized that one of the shoe laces had not attached to one of the straps, I decided to keep them anyway because I didn't want to be without them. Now that it is colder perhaps I'll exchange for one that does - just need to find a box, address, etc. Thank you,

I have several pairs of various Keens and these seem to run slightly small and narrower than my prior pairs. I will be returning them for a larger size (I should have read the reviews prior to making my purchase). Once I have the correct size, I think the additional straps and narrower fit will make the shoes very stable for outdoor activities and everyday life.

Got this shoe in the green, which I love. Went up 1/2 size and fit well. I have long narrow feet and these worked well except the back strap is loose and difficult to tighten. Therefore, my foot slips back. I may need to return or take into shoe shop and have them make strap shorter. Wore them hiking for 3 days right after I ordered them and they felt fantastic with no breaking in. The left shoe squeaks however, which is a bummer.

I purchased these for a 20 day train/travel excursion across Russia. They were great for those rainy days when I needed to be out sight-seeing but didn't want soggy shoes. Highly recommended! I did get 1/2 size larger and I'm glad I did.

This shoe runs small and somewhat narrow. I usually wear 6.5 and I needed a 7.5 to get into it. Love the style and color! Footbed is super soft and supportive. Closure is so easy. I love it, but it's more for a long narrow foot, which I don't have.

These are much nicer shoes since they are not so chunky looking. That is why I have avoided Keens in the past. I definitely needed half a size larger and it is a perfect fit. These were comfortable as soon as I put them on. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I bought a pair of Keen Whispers about 2.5 years ago, and needed to replace them due to the strap around the heel ripping. I bought the exact same size (9.5) but they were too small. When I compared them to the old 9.5 I was replacing, the sole was slightly smaller. I replaced them with a size 10, and that length was better, although they seem to run a bit narrower than the original pair. Overall, I'm still very happy with the purchase, but the changes in the sizing made it challenging to find what I needed.

I think the size was correct, but the shoes did not sit right on my feet. I kept sliding back even when straps were tight. But my husband loves his.

These shoes are great for hiking and other outdoor activities. They are a tiny bit big, so I did have to get used to my foot sliding around.

I tried on a number of different brands and styles in search of cool, comfortable, and supportive walking shoes for the tropics, and landed on these ones. They is no slipping in the heel, and lots of room for my toes without sliding around while walking. They are very comfortable, but I do find the top to be a little snug when my feet swell in the heat (the top of the shoes do not expand much). Overall, though, I am really pleased with these shoes, and expect that I will order Keens again in the future. I was previously a Clarks fan, but I found their similar options much less comfortable!

Nice comfortable shoes to walk around rivers, creeks, etc. I followed other readers' advice to get them half size bigger and they fitted fine. Two cons for me: the neoprene they are made of although comfortable takes very long time to dry, so you are always wearing wet shoes...and sole isn't as anti-slippery as advertised, be careful when walking over wet/mossy rocks.

Bought these for a trip to Guatemala and loved them! Had to go up a whole size, but with Zappos, I just ordered both sizes and kept the one I wanted. Liked this model due to the narrower width than that of some other Keens. Also, lighter weight than some other Keens. Comfortable and waterproof, they were perfect for everything from a sudden storm to a long walk to the Tikal ruins. Only problem: they tended to be VERY slippery when they got wet on the bottom when we we were climbing some rocks. If you are worried about that, be careful.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are just as comfortable as I've been told by others. I was very inpressed with Zappo's service, very prompt and correct, and, free shipping!

I bought these sandals and really liked them because they aren't as bulky as some of the other Keen sandals. They were really comfortable except for one thing: my pinky toes kept poking out the side and getting stuck outside of the sandal. I had to return them because it drove me nuts. I just couldn't justify spending so much money on a sandal that didn't fit perfectly.

I ordered 7 different styles of shoes from Zappos looking for something cute and comfortable for kayaking. I have to admit that I didn't like the look of these shoes shoes compared to some of the others, but they were by far the most comfortable/functional so I went with them and returned the others (so easy thanks to Zappos). I have worn them kayaking in creeks, rivers and lakes, and they have performed well - excellent traction even on slippery surfaces. Some small rocks get in, but they wash through quickly. The Keens dry quickly and remain very comfortable. They were so good for the job that I ordered my boyfriend a similar mens pair; he also loves them. I still think these are pretty unattractive shoes for women, but practicality sometimes wins over fashion. I did have to order a half size up from what I normally wear as did my boyfriend, so I think the brand just runs a bit small.

I tried on both the 7 and 7.5, since I float between the two sizes. The 7 fit well at the ankle strap but my heel hung over the back of the shoe. I chose the 7.5 and ended up shortening the nylon straps on either side of the ankle strap so I didn't have to crank down the adjustable elastic lacing so much. I've taken them hiking, and they are very comfortable and dried quickly after getting wet. I especially liked the closed toe. Overall, I like them a lot. I just have to ding it one star for having to make an adjustment to get them to fit snugly, instead of being ready to go out of the box.

I like the styling; was looking to replace similar sport sandals from some years ago, by Privo. Saw the advertisement in the margin of my Facebook interface. I love the cushiony sole. I need most of the foot to be covered because I have a sun allergy that causes burning itchy spots on my feet yet I also want the ventilation and draining provided by some slits. I have narrow ankles and have therefore always suffered from sneakers that rub (and the seams inside sneakers rub my toes), but I also want the back strap that keeps my feet in the shoe, unlike mules, and that can be tightened independently and/or is slightly elastic, like these, so it doesn't rub. The loop on the back of the heel helps to tug them on. The hard-covered toe tip for the big-toe area is useful. I did light hiking in Ireland for days in these shoes. The texture of the bottom was effective for rainy, rocky areas and old castle stone staircases, and the shoes were surprisingly warm. I ordered my true size, US 9.5. However, the one odd thing is that my feet don't seem to sit all the way in to the shoe (though I can shove them in there initially), so I have a lot of toe room while my heel seems to sit slightly over the back (kept in by the strap, but slightly over the tiny heel lip), and that can get annoying. I don't know if it's because my stance is slightly over-pronated and this shoe therefore curves over too much from the outside (pinkie) toe, or my arch isn't in the same exact place as the shoe's, or what. But at least my big toe is not rubbing. Anti-odor sole. Two-tone styling allows more fashion choices.

Runs way too small. Very nice looking, but I'm returning them and hoping for better luck with the next size up. I would rate higher, but the sizing is really off.

Okay...I love Keens. I recently ordered the blue Keen Whisper and was so happy when they came in that I immediately put them on and started wearing them. The problem is...they appear to be about a half size too big for me. They are more stretchy than my last pair of Keens (different style). Anyway...since I am a Keen addict, I am contemplating ordering another pair in a half size smaller.

I love Keens and usually wear the Newport style. I like the look of the Whisper, but found it to have less arch support than the Newports. I ordered the 7.5 and had to return for the size 8 because it is narrower than other Keens. A comfortable shoe, but would not wear it for a whole day of walking. I'll stick to my Newports for that. I like the neutral color and slimmer look of this style.

I also own several pair of Keens. My favorites are the Newports. I love the way the Whispers look and they are comfortable. But they're not all day comfortable like my Newports. I don't know if it has to do with the slimmer sole or the composition of that sole. I just know that by mid-day my feet are nearly done.

Very attractive sneaker sandals and the red is better-looking than the picture. Buy a half-size up as they are a little small for mature (bunions, corns) feet. They do stretch and breathe well though. Very comfortable cushioned sole, however, the top of the sandals have a tendency to rub up against my ankle bone which is uncomfortable. My 10 year old daughter (children's 3) loves her turquoise blue pair and has no complaints.

Shoes are very comfortable even though they're 1/2 size too large. The description recommended buying 1/2 size larger and the shoes in fact run true to size.

Actual color of shoe is not as pictured. It looks cream and grey on picture but was actually grey and light green. Also, the left shoe made loud creaking noises when I tried them on at home.
