I really liked these shoes a lot, with the exception that they are a bit narrow. I read the reviews and ordered a half size larger than what I usually wear. They are comfortable when I put them on, but after a while the pressure at the widest part of my foot is uncomfortable. I would have returned them for a different style, but I wore them for a while. Otherwise, the design and colors are great. I think they would best fit someone with narrow feet.

These shoes are very comfortable; they give good support, especially when I need to walk a lot. As good as my walking shoes and much cooler. And they're cute. I like the colors.

Looking for a shoe for boating and jetskiing and this shoe works fine but gave it a lower rating because the soles can be slippery on certain surfaces when it or the shoe is wet. Stepped on the aluminum frame around the outside of a pontoon boat floor and my foot slipped off the edge of the boat. Haven't found out yet what other surfaces they have gripping issues with. Otherwise, they're very comfortable even when wet and your feet seem to stay cooler with the open construction. The footbed is very cushioned and I find I'm wearing them more and more as a casual everyday shoe. Easy to put on and take off, fit adjustment is easy and they're quick drying.

Bought these to replace my Keen sandals that are 8 years old. I have several other pairs of Keens. This model looks good, but it is more narrow than the others, and the straps are somewhat scratchy.

I have been on the hunt for sandals that would take me though airports and European cities comfortably. Zappos has been the place to shop for all of the variety and have been patiently sending me styles to try. I thought last year's Ahnu would work but the footbed is not as supportive as I like in the arch. I have plantar issues on and off, wear 7.5M shoes typically, and have narrow heels, lower volume feet, and need a wider toe box. I walk and am my feet a lot! I use custom orthotics about 50% of the time. Keens seem to have one of the nicest footbeds around and have been concentrating on that brand now. Unfortunately, the one that is the best for my needs is the Newport style but it does not have enough ventilation. While the Whisper anatomically fits by "female" foot as advertised, it does not have enough arch support, has less support around the heel, and does not cover my little toe well (keeps slipping out); it has a bit more ventilation though. Like most Keens, I order a half size up and that seems fine. Have ordered a couple of Keens slide versions and their leather lined Sarasota style. Will see if either gets me around the "hot" foot issue (feels sweaty but really is not sweating) and has enough support. Now, to find a version of Keen that suits all of these needs...sigh...can't praise Zappos enough though!
I'd also recommend:
Clarks Un and Wave styles, some Eccos, Ahnu, some Keen styles, some Merrell styles

I think these sandals run a little long compared to other Keen shoes. I have three pairs of non-sandal Keens and all of them are a 9.5, but these are definitely half a size too big for me. (In fact, I would guess that they felt as big as the size 10 Keen Sarasota sandal that I tried as well.)
I was actually disappointed with these because I really wanted to like them. They have the great strap support system in the heel that I love so much in my light hiking shoes, so they seem like they should have good ankle support (for a sandal). That said, they definitely run hot - I only wore it for a couple of minutes, long enough to determine what, exactly, the problem was with them, but my foot started getting very warm and began to sweat even within that time, so if that is a concern for you, these might not be the sandals for you.

Great shoe do not get a size up. Others say that but this shoe has plenty of room, if not a little extra for my regular size 8.5. I bought a 8.5 it is a little roomy. I like the true to size. Very large toe box like a Crocs shoe.

Really loved this shoe, but it just wasn't wide enough. For a closed-toe sandal, this is probably the most attractive one out there. If only it were available in different widths!

Great outdoor shoe! I purchased these as my go to camping/hiking/water shoe, and they have definitely met my expectations. Lightweight, the back strap doesn't rub, and is overall pretty comfortable. The negative I have is that they run small so order at least half a size up. Also, the colors are darker than they appear in the picture. I ordered the dark shadow/ceramic grey, and the light blue portion was more of a green. Overall a great shoe!

Super bummed, but have to return these. The rubber bit at the toe is too shallow for my feet, and my toes press uncomfortably against the top. I'm almost tempted to see if it's just this pair, as the footbed is very comfortable, the elastic drawstring makes the fit excellent, and the shoe is pretty cute.

I love these sandals for their support. My only complaint is they rub on the tops of my toes when walking long distances. I love Zappos' excellent service!

I bought these when my Keen Venice H2's finally, after long years of service, wore out on me. I'd wanted another pair identical to my old pair, but Zappos was sold out in my color and size. So I looked around a bit and found these. In terms of how they look, I like that they are narrower in the toe, and in general I think they're a bit more aesthetically pleasing than some of the other Keen shoes I've had. But the comfort level isn't quite there. These shoes are much more narrow that typical Keen sandals, and I find that the narrowness near the center of my foot is a bit much; one strap in particular tends to cut into my in-step, no matter how much I adjust it. The good news is that they're only ever uncomfortable for the first few minutes after I put them on; once I start walking around in them, they start to get more comfortable, and I've worn them for a day of walking around the city without any pain. The one other thing I don't like--and this might be specific to the shape of my foot--is that my pinkie toe sometimes gets caught on one of the straps if I have to stop quickly. It hasn't been too much of an issue, but it's enough to make me miss the boxy toe of my old sandals. Overall, I like these well enough, but I probably won't buy another pair when they wear out.

I bought these shoes in black for a trip to China. They were a great multi-purpose shoe. I walked everywhere in them. They were comfortable with socks in cool weather and without socks in the heat. I like having the toe covered. They work with casual dresses, pants, and shorts. I gave them four stars because I wish they had more arch support. Even so, I am overall happy with them. I continue to wear them doing errands and even to work.

I normally wear 9.5 and ordered these in 10 after reading other's experience. Turns out the 10 was too big and 9.5 just right. I have had Keen shoes before and find them very comfortable but both these and my previous ones squeak when I walk! Don't know if I've just been unlucky or if it is a feature of the brand. I do have a little fit issue as the outside toe of one foot, but not the other, seems to hit just at the edge of a strap and so is a bit irritated. This is not hard to live with and is undoubtedly due to some anomaly of my feet.

This is my first pair of Keens and I understand why they are so popular now. They were immediately comfortable and true to size. My only complaint is their cost.

Love the fit and feel - and they look great, too. The only very minor issue is that my feet get a bit sweaty at times - but that does not keep me from wearing them almost 24/7 during the spring/summer!

I've wanted a pair of Keens forever and was so excited to get these...and then I tried them on. While they're super-comfortable and the width is good, they were a good inch too long in the toes. I ordered a half-size up because most everyone said they ran small, but I didn't foresee this problem. Both my little toes were sticking out the sides. Also (and this is exceptionally minor), the brown wasn't as dark as it appeared to be in the picture. But I'm going to reorder and hope for the best!

The shoe was fine, but was just barely too small. Once I had it on, the look was not me. Otherwise it felt good and if I were more of an outdoor/sporty person this would be a good shoe.

Order your shoe size (if your foot is narrow)! I read reviews and ordered 1/2 size larger - made sense as this is what I wear in sneakers. They had to go back, but I had the correct size within 2 days. Zappos return was simple enough. I like these very much for working in yard, walking the dog, and other casual activities where you need more support and traction than a flip-flop or dress sandal. Sweet!

These fit perfectly. Bright vibrant orange as seen in the picture. Comfortable but not to stand for all day or walk far. I honestly thought they would provide a little more arch support than they do. Nice and lightweight though.

I ordered Whisper, Venice, and Newport to choose which. I am all about comfort but not adverse to a little style. The Newports were uncomfortable. Venice, perfect. The Whispers were pretty good, but the Venice was a better match for my wide feet. I did like how much lighter weight the whispers are, and they are less clunky looking, too. I might keep both. I ordered half a size up; perfect.

I was searching for the perfect outdoor/all-purpose shoes for a Caribbean cruise and purchased these (went walking, kayaking, beach no problem). I love them! They do have a few issues (outlined below) and despite those I am still really happy with them. I have even debated getting another pair in another color. 1. Fit: So - most of what everyone says is true - the way this shoe is cut to fit is like a cartoon foot stamp-tight in the instep, wide and roomy in the toe-box. My actual size was the perfect fit minus the instep. I didn't know what an instep was until I tried on the shoe. The length toe to heel was perfect, but there was a decided tightness in the band area over my foot where my arch starts (if that makes sense)...A half size up fit better in that area but the length was a little much- the toe box is super roomy, practically one shoe size too big. But I kept the one half size bigger - I loved the shoe and couldn't wear the tight instep. They are a little loose toe to heel but I like them light and loose. 2. Structure - The shoe is super light, the fabric upper is soft and not scratchy or stiff at all. The best part is the rubber sole- it is a little weird at times - I read another review that said it makes the bottom of her foot sweat - I thought weird, but it's kind of true. But the genius is I went kayaking, had to walk in knee deep water and it makes the rubber bottom genius! My husband has a pair similar, another brand, with a fabric sole and they got soppy, squishy and yuck. These remain super comfy all around. I think Keen has some work to do in getting foot proportions up to par - since seeing so many people have the exact same issue (and I've tried their mary janes before that dug into the top of my foot) barring that - these shoes are perfect for outdoor, getting wet, and casual wear. 4 stars overall - would have been 5 but for the instep issue. Loved the rest.

These are a little different from the "water shoes" I had previously purchased from Keen, but yet they are sleeker and do not look as bulky.
I am not impressed with the elastic tie. It is too long and it doesn't do anything. Perhaps it's supposed to be just a decorative item. The shoe's width is pre-determined and the "lace" neither makes it tighter or looser. It flat out doesn't do anything.
The width fits well and fortunately I don't rely on the lace/elastic tie to adjust the fit, but if I did, I would have to return these...

Have been wanting Keen sandals for a while and these are great! Hard to get my foot all the way in when I wear thick wool socks for out in the cold, but great fit with thin or no socks.

Love these shoes but so sorry I didn't get a half size bigger. I kept reading reviews saying that they ran a little big. They're an exact fit and so comfortable I really don't care. I'll just get the other one a half size bigger.
