These feel comfortable and I foresee them being the perfect beach/boat summer/vacation shoe. Keens are great!

I wanted to like these shoes, however, my toes poke out of the holes on the sides. Otherwise, they seem to be very good quality and they have a great tread.

I liked these but am returning them because a) I ordered a 1/2 size up per recommendations and they're too big, and b) they're a little bulkier than I thought they'd be. I think they'd be great for shoreline-type excursions with sand/rocky terrain and water. They seemed really comfortable. I just needed something more light-weight and not for excursions. I normally wear a size 10 in every shoe (M width) and I ordered these in a 10.5. They were just slightly too big for me. I have skinny feet with a regular arch and width.

I like these shoes, but years ago I broke a toe. the seams of the right shoe rub that toe, so I am sending them back. I usually wear a size 7 to 7.5 shoe. I ordered the 7.5 and it fit perfectly. I didn't feel a lot of arch support.

I LOVE these sandals!! I wore them to work (a zoo) right out of the box with no issues and the fit was great!! They are soooo comfortable, too! I ordered an 11 which is what I wear in my New Balance running shoe and these sandals were a little longer than I need maybe, but the extra toe room was actually quite nice. The closed toe is actually nice not only as protection, but to hide ugly toes! I was skeptical to order sandals that were $90, but several people I asked who were wearing these raved about them, so I figured with Zappos return policy, I had to try them. I have fairly high arches, narrow feet, some plantar fasciitis, and arthritis in my lower back. I am on my feet for 8+ hours, usually wear tennis shoes or Ariat boots, and have bought every insole available to add cushion, arch support, etc. yet still my feet are swollen and hurting at the end of the day. I was amazed that after wearing these sandals without all the extra cushioning and not much arch support, my feet and back were in better shape after a day on them than ever in tennis shoes!! I'm sold on these Keen sandals and will be trying a pair of their hiking/walking shoes soon to wear during the colder weather.

One shoe had MUCH larger air openings on side, my toes slide through. Am ordering another pair, with the hope they are made correctly!

I have this EXACT same shoe, and others from this brand purchased in previous years. I was very excited to get this, but it is shorter & narrower than my previous purchases. I am very happy with my other keens, sadly, this one will be returned.

I tried this pair of shoes but ultimately chose the Merrell brand All Out Blaze Sieve style for fit reasons. Comparatively, they are very similar - I think this Keen style actually offered more ventilation while the Merrell style had a better color choice for me. But the main reason I decided to return these was because of the fit - my big toe was just poking out of the gap between the webbing and the bumper, I was afraid that at some point I would be hiking and it would rip my toe nail off. Size wise, I'm between 5.5 in a sandal and 6 in a closed-toe shoe, so I thought maybe sizing down from a 6 to a 5.5 would help with the toe issue (and there was a ton of room in the toes when i tried on a 6. Sizing down didn't help though, my toe still hit in the same location so I decided to return. Also, I would say these run large, I still had plenty of room even in the 5.5.

So far so good. Felt comfortable right away. Easy to slip on and off. Super breathable and love that they are lightweight. Bought them primarily for use in the water - haven't tested that yet. Hope it doesn't slip off my feet in the river or ocean. Will update this review if they do. Size-wise, I had to order a half size down. These do run big. The elastic lacing system is nice, but the plastic closure/toggle sometimes rubs up against my foot in an uncomfortable way and I have to fiddle with it to tuck it into the shoe and keep it away from my skin. Aesthetically, they are a little odd looking, but hey, it's an outdoor shoe and it's comfortable, and you can wear it in the water. Who needs style when you've got all that? I'd buy again and recommend to friends.

My first pair. It took a couple times to break them in. They are comfortable. I got the regular width and I find that by the end of the day when I take them off I have marks on the front part of my foot from the shoe itself. Maybe I should have gotten wide width. Yes I would recommend them and I have to many of my friends.

I love wearing Keens, but this pair was just too tight to wear. Even though it’s what I’ve ordered before.

You should order up a half size. I live in keen all summer and these are sized differently than my previous purchases, They are not as wide as my others either but going up the half size helps that too. Good support and ventilation as always. Enjoy the easy on and off with the in and out of summer Great customer service, if you need to exchange

I really liked these sandals. But there was just something about them that made me think they weren't going to be super comfortable on longer hikes. I think it was was the rubber that comes up over the toe. Perhaps if they were a bit longer (I think they run a little short) it would have been better, but I was leaving on a trip out west and didn't have time to reorder in a half size up. I might do that when I return from my trip. Other than that, I think they are a great sandal. The arch support is good and the material on the inside around the ankle is very soft and doesn't rub or cause any irritation. The sides of the sole come up slightly around the outside of your foot and makes them feel really good.

After reading reviews I bought a half size larger and they were a little large. I still wear them and they are comfortable. Will buy my really size next time.

Quality seems to vary from one pair to another. The original pair I was sent had tiny sharp knots on the inside at some places where it would rub against my foot. Was sent another pair - that one is fine. One thing I did not like was a pretty strong plastic smell, I do not think Keens had that odor years back. Offgasing fairly quickly. Otherwise - a comfortable Keene :)

The heel kept slipping off. Loved all the other keens I have owned.

I'm not sure how I feel about these. They are definitely more comfortable than the Newport H2 (and so much lighter/slender). I just think they are really ugly shoes and haven't decided if I'm going to keep them.

I really wanted to keep these shoes. They fit fine, felt good. In the end, the bone below my pinky toe poked out between the open spaces on the side of the shoe. It didn't hurt, but I did not like looking at it.

I have pretty flat feet and these are shoes I can wear to hike 12 miles, so the support is great. I normally wear an 8 1/2 and bought a 9 and they fit really well. Love the fact that I can walk on rocks and they do not get in my shoes. That was a nice surprise. Highly recommend.

Light blue Keen Whisper: color was as expected, very pretty pale light blue. Fit seems to be about 1/2 size too large. I am usually a 7 1/2. I will return and reorder a 7. Even so, they're just as comfortable as I expect Keene to be. I recommend ordering 1/2 smaller than you would usually order.

I was in need of sandals for my trip to Costa Rica, sandals that I can wear when doing various outdoor and water activities. Keen kept coming up as one of the brands to seek and I'm glad they did. I personally never liked the style of these type of sandals,they're not shoes I would normally wear on a day to day. I wore them almost everyday in Costa Rica and they were perfect! Ziplining, rappeling/canyoneering, hiking and inside a river. Ordered my usual size of 7.5, i have average width and flat feet, they fit perfectly and my feet never hurt. I loved that they had the toe area protected but never made my feet feel sweaty or hot. I took off a star because they don't dry quick enough for sandals that are suppose to be used in outdoor activities. Other than that they were great, and the raven rose color worked great in staying neutral with my workout outfits that i was mostly wearing with them. The raven rose is a light color so they obviously get dirty quicker...but i assumed they would but they still look good.

After reading the reviews, I ordered a half size up. When they came my feet were flopping around and my heels were sliding up when I walked. Thank you Zappos for your excellent return policy. Had the size nine that I normally wear the next day. I bought these for an upcoming canoe trip where I'll be jumping in and out of the water a lot so we'll see if they work for that. Right now they are so incredible that when I have them on my feet are protected and temperature comfortable!

I use these for long walks. The first time I wore them, they were so comfortable I walked for about 5 miles and then realized I had gotten blisters. I probably should have worked my way up to that, but I’m still very happy with them.

Great. Really pretty color. The blue ones were beautiful but more stiff and both colors were a half size smaller than my others like this similar style in the same brand.

My feet were swimming in these! I have Keen 8.5 boots so I figured I'd be the same size in these, but definitely not.
