These are not nearly as cushy as the Newport or Venice styles, but are lighter. I don't think they would be as good for all-day wear so am returning them.

Loved this shoe! They looked wonderful, not clunky at all, and were mostly comfortable. I just found the EVA footbed to be too hard for my tender feet. If that’s not your problem, I recommend these shoes.

I wish they were a little more cushy, but all in all a great outdoor sandal. Look forward to walking on the beach!

These are very cute Keens, not quite as chunky as some of the others, but I did notice that they are quite narrow. Likely great for someone who doesn't need just a little extra in the toe box.

fit and size were fine....not as heavy as similar Keen styles...still a bit clunky

Comfortable shoe, except for the fact my big toe would catch on the open hole above it, which would drive me nuts, so I returned them. Otherwise, very comfortable for my wide feet.

The toe band placement was a little off for me. My little toe didn't make it under the band, and felt a little vulnerable to getting caught. I planned to use this shoe for day hikes in slightly rough terrain and didn't want to take the chance that I'd catch it on something.

I have been wearing Keen Whisper for about 8 years and currently own 6 pair of this particular style. This shoe provides great support and is wonderful for those of us who have joint aches and pain. My son's podiatrist told me that he wouldn't wear any other shoe brand. Consequently, I've purchased Keens for my son, as well. Personally, I love the Keen Whisper but the problem I have is that there needs to be better quality control of sizing. My Keen Whispers are all size 9 with one exception but the fit is very different on some of them. One pair fits so snugly that I don't often wear them but I have other size 9's that fit great and even other 9's that are a bit loose. I would give Keen Whisper 5 stars if the sizing issue were resolved and I'd probably buy them more often if I were confident of the fit. Keen needs to do better with the uniformity of sizing, otherwise, this is an absolutely great shoe that I'd wear all the time if I could get away with it!

I have problem feet, so I am writing this on the assumption that there are others with problem feet as well. I really wanted to like these shoes, and at first, I thought they were great. But as I wore them around my family room, I realized the shoe was rubbing the top of my big toe (the top of the nail.) I thought perhaps I'd ordered a size too small (or that they ran small) until I realized that where the rubber sole on the front of the shoe wraps up and over the front of the shoe and connects to the regular part of it, there's an interior seam that rubs uncomfortably against the top of my toe. I guess this means the toe box isn't quite high enough for my feet. If it weren't for that, I'd love these shoes. As it is, I'll have to return them.

Ordered a half size up following other reviewers, it was the right choice. Found them oddly narrow in the middle of the foot and they dug in funny, which I've never had happen before They are what they are, and what they are is less form than function - that said, they weren't nearly as bulky and goofy as I expected

My old Keens were great when I bought them about five years ago when I went to Viet Nam. THOSE shoes also walked me around Europe a few times and on a trip to Japan; they were washed and came out perfectly. The new pair, which I think ill be fine, are a great color BUT they feel like less of a walk the world sandal...just a little light feeling...and I hope they will last me on several more adventures!

I absolutely love theses shoes. I have a pair in green, and I wanted another pair in case they were discontinued. This pair just feels smaller than the ones I have now. I think maybe I need to order up a half size in Keen shoes in general now. They are awesome shoes though, and I highly recommend them.

Cute and comfortable, but if you have high arches or specifically shop for shoes with good arch support, these won't do it for you.

I have an older pair of whisper Keens and they have served me well. I bought another and was a bit disappointed as I noticed a slight, but important difference... The soft neoprene that provides cushion and comfort is limited to the heel and a there is a different material under the straps. There is less of the material on the sides of the stiff straps and it doesn't have the cushion effect. I don't remember my original pair as stiff on the soles for bending and a hard surface for my feet. I am trying to wear and flex them around the house before my trip. Maybe washing will help? I almost thought they could be counter fit at first but Keen doesn't have that problem. Keens are very popular but they shouldn't change these attributes so they can be the reliable shoes their fans depend on!

Attractive looking, well designed and quality materials but they were way small. I typically wear 7 1/2 - 8. The 8 1/2 were a tiny bit short; I felt like my heel extended beyond the sole by a little. The size 9 was altogether too big and too long. So I kept the 8 1/2 hopefully they will work. I plan to do some light hiking in these so the Keen toe cover is essential. Love Zappos for allowing me to find just what I want.

These feel comfortable and I foresee them being the perfect beach/boat summer/vacation shoe. Keens are great!

I wanted to like these shoes, however, my toes poke out of the holes on the sides. Otherwise, they seem to be very good quality and they have a great tread.

I liked these but am returning them because a) I ordered a 1/2 size up per recommendations and they're too big, and b) they're a little bulkier than I thought they'd be. I think they'd be great for shoreline-type excursions with sand/rocky terrain and water. They seemed really comfortable. I just needed something more light-weight and not for excursions. I normally wear a size 10 in every shoe (M width) and I ordered these in a 10.5. They were just slightly too big for me. I have skinny feet with a regular arch and width.

I like these shoes, but years ago I broke a toe. the seams of the right shoe rub that toe, so I am sending them back. I usually wear a size 7 to 7.5 shoe. I ordered the 7.5 and it fit perfectly. I didn't feel a lot of arch support.

I LOVE these sandals!! I wore them to work (a zoo) right out of the box with no issues and the fit was great!! They are soooo comfortable, too! I ordered an 11 which is what I wear in my New Balance running shoe and these sandals were a little longer than I need maybe, but the extra toe room was actually quite nice. The closed toe is actually nice not only as protection, but to hide ugly toes! I was skeptical to order sandals that were $90, but several people I asked who were wearing these raved about them, so I figured with Zappos return policy, I had to try them. I have fairly high arches, narrow feet, some plantar fasciitis, and arthritis in my lower back. I am on my feet for 8+ hours, usually wear tennis shoes or Ariat boots, and have bought every insole available to add cushion, arch support, etc. yet still my feet are swollen and hurting at the end of the day. I was amazed that after wearing these sandals without all the extra cushioning and not much arch support, my feet and back were in better shape after a day on them than ever in tennis shoes!! I'm sold on these Keen sandals and will be trying a pair of their hiking/walking shoes soon to wear during the colder weather.

One shoe had MUCH larger air openings on side, my toes slide through. Am ordering another pair, with the hope they are made correctly!

I have this EXACT same shoe, and others from this brand purchased in previous years. I was very excited to get this, but it is shorter & narrower than my previous purchases. I am very happy with my other keens, sadly, this one will be returned.

I tried this pair of shoes but ultimately chose the Merrell brand All Out Blaze Sieve style for fit reasons. Comparatively, they are very similar - I think this Keen style actually offered more ventilation while the Merrell style had a better color choice for me. But the main reason I decided to return these was because of the fit - my big toe was just poking out of the gap between the webbing and the bumper, I was afraid that at some point I would be hiking and it would rip my toe nail off. Size wise, I'm between 5.5 in a sandal and 6 in a closed-toe shoe, so I thought maybe sizing down from a 6 to a 5.5 would help with the toe issue (and there was a ton of room in the toes when i tried on a 6. Sizing down didn't help though, my toe still hit in the same location so I decided to return. Also, I would say these run large, I still had plenty of room even in the 5.5.

So far so good. Felt comfortable right away. Easy to slip on and off. Super breathable and love that they are lightweight. Bought them primarily for use in the water - haven't tested that yet. Hope it doesn't slip off my feet in the river or ocean. Will update this review if they do. Size-wise, I had to order a half size down. These do run big. The elastic lacing system is nice, but the plastic closure/toggle sometimes rubs up against my foot in an uncomfortable way and I have to fiddle with it to tuck it into the shoe and keep it away from my skin. Aesthetically, they are a little odd looking, but hey, it's an outdoor shoe and it's comfortable, and you can wear it in the water. Who needs style when you've got all that? I'd buy again and recommend to friends.

My first pair. It took a couple times to break them in. They are comfortable. I got the regular width and I find that by the end of the day when I take them off I have marks on the front part of my foot from the shoe itself. Maybe I should have gotten wide width. Yes I would recommend them and I have to many of my friends.
