Love the color, the fit and the light weight, but I'm surprised that a shoe which is primarily black with colored straps would have day glow clear/white fastenings. Since these are primarily sports shoes for me, I'm going to ignore it, but it might really bother someone else. On other Keen's I've owned these fasteners were black.

The Whisper is a narrower shoe than the Newport and has less arch support. I love the colors of the Whisper but I need the width and support of the Newport. Sadly, these shoes had to go back.

Unfortunately, I had to return these. I love the colors but the shoe didn't work for me. Previously I've worn the Newports in a size 7 and they sometimes feel a bit loose. I ordered a 6.5 in the Whisper and it was definitely too small.

This version has a textured synthetic inner sole, and while it’s probably water-proof, it doesn’t breathe particularly well. The peacock accent color and reflective bits are arresting.

Discovered that this style fits more narrow in the toe box than my Newport style. Only reason I returned it for the Newport H2

I wanted these to be the solid arch support keens but the 9s were short in the tow and wide for my foot.

I bought 1/2 size larger and feel fine. I am a size 9M. Very comfortable.

I have always preferred the Teva fit, I have extremely high arches and very few shoes provide optimal support. Teva used to have a great hiking sandal and now their design is really unattractive, more like a sneaker with some holes in it than a true sandal. This is an acceptable replacement for comfort and style, although the arch support is essentially nonexistent. This means I won’t be using it for any full day hikes, but it’s good for an hour or two. Longer than that and it will strain my feet and ankles, despite the wonderful cushioning.

The fit while not perfect is OK. What I didn't care for was the light colored foot-bed/trim on this otherwise pleasing color combo, seemed to me to be in conflict with the other upper colors and the brown sole.

A little narrow for my feet, otherwise loved it.

These would be perfectly comfortable if not for the lack of arch support. Otherwise true to size/width. I tried adding arch supports but they end up sliding out the back of the sandal. A little clunky too but not too awful.

I own a pair of these shoes and love them. I need a new pair, and it was suggested I order a 9 instead of an 8 1/2. Turns out an 8 1/2 would have been perfect , so I re-ordered in an 8 1/2. Love them!

These shoes would have felt more comfortable in a wide width; however, they evidently only come in a medium.

Not bad, but I found the soles too stiff and hard. A bit more cushion would help. They fit my narrow feet.

Keen's Presidio II Mule is my current favorite shoe, so I was hopeful that these would provide the same level of arch support but, unfortunately, it's pretty non-existent. Very disappointing, I loved the style and color.

I have been wearing Keen Whisper sandals since they started making them. This version fits true to size, but is fairly hard and has no arch support. I would say that a long walk may cause my plantar fasciitis to flare up. That being said, I am keeping these and maybe try adding a thin insole for support.

This is the exchanged ½ size larger review. Fit is fine now. The shoe seems comfortable enough and the top supports my ankles like my walking shoes do. My hesitancy is that they are just ugly! Sometimes ugly can be cute, and that’s what I have to decide. Will I really wear this comfortable, but ugly, shoe because it will be cooler than my warm and supportive walkers in the hot, hot Texas summer??? Sandals are just not supportive enough.

I ordered my normal size of 6.5 since I've never worn Keen shoes before. As many said in their reviews, my big toe touched the end of the shoe, The entire shoe felt tight; however, I feel the straps would give after a few wearings. It's the length that caused me to return it for a 7. It's not a stylish shoe at all, but within that style of shoe, it's good. I want it because it will give me the support and benefits of an athletic shoe with air vents for the summer. The straps are soft and comfortable except for feeling tight. There are adjustments but I need it to be supportive without being tight.

I love Keens but these just looked ugly, and didn't work as well on my feet as Venice 2.

I have problem feet. Traveling via carry-on only, I wore these to/from the airport in February (with socks). While they were comfortable most of the time...by the end of my beach trip, I was getting a blister on top of my toes.

I'm returning these Whispers in Tango/purple only because there was a slight ridge molded into inside toe bumper which hit my big toe. I'm keeping the Smoke Blue because they were fine. I buy several pairs of Whispers each year for travel walking and have only good things to say about them except for this glitch...In the last 5-6 years I have bought beet(which these tangos were going to replace) , raven/rose dawn, smoke blue, black and a deep jade. Love 'em love 'em! I'm giving this pair only 4 stars but just due to this pair

I've had these for a few years now. Overall, very comfortable. I gave them a 2 for style because... well... these shoes aren't meant to be cute ha! My husband and I do lots of hiking when we travel, and we're in and out of waterfalls and streams. In the past, I've bought water shoes that let the water drain, but have no openings. After having these for a while, they've been great, but because of the openings, I did loose a toenail during a hike... I know that's the chance you take, though. I'd give them a 6/10 for grip on slick rocks, and a 10/10 for blisters [I've never had one with these shoes]. I would not wear them on hikes longer than 2-3 hours or with a lot of up and down... you might want more ankle support for that.

Sole of shoe is very hard with no cushion, works for some, not for me. It's a great shoe - wish I could wear it.

These seem to fit better than the H2s but hoping for a more versatile color to get more wear.

I’ve been wearing Keens for years. Really my daily shoes These are completely different soles, and there is less arch support. They are not the thick, cushioning ones they were known for. Walking on hard surfaces like city sidewalk I need the insulating cushion of the Venice. I’m hoping this isn’t a new shoe bed going forward for Keen. Why does everything change for worse by shoe companies?
