The top comes up higher than my older pair and its a little harder to get on. I cant just slip them on with a little tug on the heel strap. I must finagle my foot in and give it a hefty tug to get them on. Once on, they were comfy and roomy from the get-go.

Ive been look for some sandals for a while. I fell in love with these online and loved them even more in person. I will say they sit right under the ankles and if youre not used to that without socks on it can take a bit to get used to. But even with that they are the most comfortable sandals Ive ever worn

Needed to replace my 22 year old Keens (I think they were Ravines). Bought these and the Newport H2’s, and decided to keep the Whispers. They are a lot more comfortable (the Newports felt lumpy because the arches didn’t line up well with my foot) and fit my slightly narrow feet better. I really like that they’re lighter than the Newports and have a slimmer profile — happy with the color too. I don’t consider Keens to be a stylish look but they are great for kayaking and the hard toe is key. The bungee laces are great too. I wish there was a little more arch support and I am concerned about the tread; less sturdy than the Newports (don’t think I’ll do any significant hikes in them). They are not as easy to get on, but okay. Overall, I’m very happy with these and hope they last a long time. Love Keen.

If you can try this shoe on before purchase, the shoe is nice. We ordered 1/2 size up , and that was way to small in length and width. Keen is a good shoe, but the size has to be correct.

Great sandals that last many years. This is my fourth pair that I purchased. I am still wearing the first pair that I purchased 13 years ago. They come in a variety of colors, and styles. They are easy to clean and look like new.

This is my third pair and they did not disappoint. They fit like a glove and I can wear them all day while running errands and shopping. I happen to find this style to be very cute and I love how they look

I purchased these to replace a pair from years ago and am very happy with my purchase. They seem to be i bit tighter getting on but Im hopeful they will loosen up with wear. And Ive been wearing them pretty regularly.

My first time trying this brand and also this style of sandal. I normally wear an 8.5 and I felt these were true to size. I just didn’t care for the style, and the way the fabric straps felt. I also thought that these might not be comfortable when walking in the summer as my feet tend to get hot. They seem well made and sturdy, though. Sorry I had to return. Thank you, Zappos, for making this easy.

I love these sandals! You can put them right on and go out! No blisters, no breaking them in! Perfect for hiking, perfect for getting wet.

I like Keen shoes because they are comfortable and wear well. This style seemed a bit tighter so was difficult to pull over the heel.

This is my second order of the Whisper hike shoes. I like the adjustable cords, they rinse and dry well after getting dusty. I am 7.5 normally but prefer a 8 in these for toe room. They are very comfortable and have grip in both water and dry terrain. My old ones are worn out and I have had them about 5 yrs. I liked the blue and had to order them. Im looking forward to the thinner webbing. I love Keen, I have the toed flip flops and the Astoria. I do a lot of mountain hiking and they have stood up to different terrains. Thanks for making a great shoe!

These are hard to put on because I have a high arch but once on they are comfy. I ordered a half size larger and the toe box is really big but they stay on fine.

These are my go-to sandals over the years. I've not had to replace them often. The newest style is sleeker, with the same quality, with a much narrower fit. I have a narrow foot so they work great, but if you have a wide foot they may not work so well.

I've been a Whisper fan for many years but I felt that the latest style felt flimsy and lacked arch support. Wish they would add a bit more arch support in while keep the more fashionable style of the whisper.

I order Keen sandal shoes every couple years for dog walking and running errands. So comfortable and light for walking. My only complaint is the opening to slip them on seems awfully small even for my bony little feet. I prefer shoes I can keep by the door and just slip my feet into without effort. I have to take these to a chair and wrestle into them. Once on though, theyre perfect. I like the closed protected toe because we frequently walk off pavement in the forest or on the beach.

This style of hiking / trekking outdoor sandal is perfect for nearly any occasion we find ourselves enjoying all summer long!! They are super comfortable, very breathable and have fantastic stability and grip for hiking. The toe cover is perfect to keep your feet safe around rocks and sticks and essential for trail hiking. These shoes do great in the water as well and are the best companions for stream crossings or river wading too. This is my 4th pair and each pair lasts for many many miles. I even love wearing them with socks in the cool weather camping or hiking. I feel they are true to size and very adjustable to accommodate different foot widths etc. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!

I bought these for a trip to Italy and I will find out if it works for hiking and walking. Im worried that the sole is rubber and might be sticky. Ill do a follow up review.
My sister-in-law loved them for a trip last year to Europe.
