I wear these biking, boating, and tubing, and I LOVE them. They are waterproof and very light, much lighter than the original bulky heavy Keens I have. The Whisper does not look bulky and it is still very sturdy. There is a protected toe area and all the durable features of the original just more streamlined/ sleek. The tread seems more "grippy" for wet surfaces because it has more traction.

This is my first pair of Keens and I like them very much. More specifically, they are comfortable and I especially appreciate the toe coverage and the adjustability.

I did not order up in sizing with this Keen shoe and it fit perfect. I am happy with it, but it is more flexible and doesn't seem as supportive or protective as the other Keen sports shoes that I have bought in the past. I have probably 4 different sandal types. The color I was hoping for was a wine or burgundy, it is more of a deep red, but not as brown as their prior burnt sierra.

I have a black lab who loves to go swimming in creeks, lakes, you name it. I needed a shoe to go everywhere with him. This shoe does it. I usually wear a size 10, but had to size down to a 9 1/2 with this shoe.

First of all, Zappos is great! I love their selection, fast shipping, and easy return process. I bought these shoes for a trip to Disney World and they worked out wonderfully! They were quite comfortable, dried quickly if they got wet, and my feet stayed cooler than if in sneakers. They look good, too! I normally wear an 8.5 and that size fit me perfectly.

This is my first pair of Keen sandals and I absolutely love them! I was introduced to them by my sister in Portland, OR. She has a pair of Keen Newport H2s which she let me wear canoeing on the Deschutes River. They were so comfortable that I knew right away that I’d like a pair of my own. I decided to try the Whisper because they seemed just a bit less bulky. Zappos sent my order in 2 days - faster than the 5 day delivery I had ordered. These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever had. I was able to wear them for several hours around the house right out of the box with no discomfort. The adjustable elastic makes them fit perfectly. I’ve worn them every day since they arrived, used them for biking around the neighborhood and all day walking around town when visiting with friends. They are very lightweight, but the soles give great traction. I love the funky colors - I chose Caribbean Sea/Grey. I highly recommend them. I know I’ll be getting another pair before too long!

Keens are generally too wide for my bony feet, which hasn’t stopped me from buying several pairs (and returning a couple). I was really excited to hear that the Whisper was a narrower shoe and bought them right away - they came quickly (thanks Zappos!) and fit like a glove. Very, very lightweight and comfortable. Not a lot of arch support, but enough to take me through the whole day and feel great- and I walk a lot. Guess I can get rid of the too-wide Newports that I rarely wore now! The Whisper ran about a half size big for me.

This is the first pair of Keens for me. I have a wide foot and the 9.5 fit me fine. I did take advice from other reviewers and ordered a half size up. I needed an alternative to big white athletic shoes to wear while traveling. I wore them all day walking around Toronto. My feet felt fine at the end of the day. They were more comfortable with a pair of tennis socks underneath to alleviate the friction of the foot sliding in the foot bed. They are going to be my summer alternative to athletic shoes.

The Whisper is light and comfortable to wear. In the past I’ve heard to order half a size larger, but this shoe ran true to size. It is not as heavy and clunky as my other Keen sandals. I wore them all day and into the evening while traveling and didn’t have a moment of discomfort. My feet are a mess, but didn’t have a problem with the Whisper. I love them!

Great shoes! I bought these as boat shoes since they’re poly instead of leather and have a non-marking outsole. Very stable and light shoes. I have narrow feet and they stay on quite well in my normal size. No break-in period that I noticed and the red color is great.

These look great, are comfortable, and provide good traction.

Very comfy. Dry fast when wet. I used it during my trip to Thailand and it's perfect for the beach trip

I wear these year round and love the fit and support to my feet.

I love them! Just bought my 3rd pair in over 12 years. The first two pair took me hiking at Joshua tree many times, rafting on the Yampa and McKenzie rivers, countless kayaking and camping trips, etc. The tread is just right for climbing rocks and tricky footing along rivers and keep my feet secure and in place - no slipping - and they last a long time.

It took my feet a minute to get used to these, but now I find them quite comfortable, sturdy, and easy to clean. They look nice, too!

I need to let you know of my disappointment in my recent purchase. This is actually the third time for me to order these shoes over the course of many years. The shoes are okay, but don't seem quite as comfortable as in the past and a great deal more expensive. My issue however, was with the packaging. The box contained two loose shoes and one piece of cardboard that typically would have been inserted in the shoe to retain its shape. Obviously, it was a return. Returns are to be resold. That is okay, but the time should have been taken to prepare the shoes properly before being shipped out to a new customer This is the second time, I have been unable to answer the questions at the bottom of survey - size, etc.

These are very comfortable. I bought them for walking around Tokyo. Though, I suggest going a half size up, because they are a bit narrow at the toe box. Other than that, they are comfortable and cute.

I own several pairs of these sandals in different colors. I am always happy with my purchase.
