I am so glad that I bought these shoes! The Keen Whispers I ordered are comfortable, and they look good with any summer shorts and pants (they are a little too casual for most skirts, though). I absolutely recommend them!

These are my first pair of Keen shoes. They run true to size. Very comfortable. The color's great (beet red/gargoyle).

The only thing negative about these to me is the bumps on the sole. They don't bother me unless I wear them two days in a row. Socks would probably help, but it defeats the reason for wearing sandals.

I have a number of pairs of Keen sandals. The Whisper is the most comfortable because it is the lightest. The canvas material makes them feel cool in Texas heat. Also, I typically wear an 8.5 in most shoes, but I find the 9 in these more comfortable because it gives my feet breathing room.

Ordered these in the brindle/regal orchid and was saying "Ahhhh" before I even stood up in them. Fits like a glove, yet with ample toe room. Hugs the foot all around, neither too tight nor too floppy and loose like so many sandals. Feels very secure on the foot, yet very light and airy because of all the cut-outs. Best of all, it still hides my ugly toes. I also have a very high instep with sort of a bump on top where many shoes apply enough pressure to cause discomfort sooner or later. For whatever reason, that's not a problem with these, maybe because the bungee distributes the pressure across the entire foot; it also tightens the heel (nice!). The insole feels a bit rough if you stop to analyze it, but that may serve the purpose of keeping a sweaty foot from sticking or a really wet foot from slipping. Design-wise it looks "busier" and "strappier" than I'd like, but in this case form follows function. I don't expect to use it as a water shoe, but it's nice to have that option. Overall, it feels like a good athletic shoe that isn't.

Great shoes. I took them to New Orleans when i was having knee issues and they totally absorbed the road/sidewalk shock.

I bought a cheaper walking sandal and had to send it back after only 2 months of walking when the strap broke. I have had Keen's before, but was trying to save some money. Don't bother. I love my Keens and won't go the cheaper route again. I walk over 2 miles every day and the Keens are my summer walking shoes.

I received my Newport h2's today, I love the purple and they fit perfectly, i can never find 10.5 size in a store, these shoes I can put on out of the box and they feel great. I have moderate to high arches and h2 has great arches, this is my 9th pair of Keens. Great choice, this style is more comfortable than many other style (for me). Keep the funky colors coming, the brighter the better.

I'm very happy with these sandals. I have narrow size 10 feet and they're a good fit. It's not a snug fit, but it's comfortable and has good enough support for an afternoon walking around a museum. They look good enough for a casual day at the office and for everything else, too.

Much lighter in weight than previous purchase of Keen Newport...not as wide which I love. Would love to have more solid color selection to choose from.

These shoes are super comfortable. I'm not in love with the look, but they're so useful for outdoor activities like camping, hiking an rafting.

I love these sandals. I have a narrow foot, so this shoe fits perfectly. I found the length true to size. So comfortable right out of the box!

This is my second pair of Keen sandals -- I wore out the first pair after two years. They're very comfortable and I can wear them for anything but very long walks (when only socks and running shoes will do).

Absolutely Fabulous. Best shoes I have ever owned. I feel like I'm walking on a cloud when I walk in my Keen Whisper. True to size. I have a wide foot and wear a 7.5. I ordered the regular 7.5 and there is lots of room for my toes without needing a wide shoe.

Attention Keen lovers in hot summer climates (or any climate) - Great News! I've never written a review for a shoe before, but feel I just have to share how unbelievably awesome the Keen Whisper is! Like millions of others, I've purchased several pairs of Keen sandals in the past for comfort and outdoor flexibility. I've enjoyed my Newport and Venice H2s immensely. However, the one thing all my previous Keens have going against them - they are so hot! Even the wide-open Venice H2, which is more open than the Whisper, gives me slippery feet all day. So when I've worn my previous Keens to work or out playing, I am always reminded, from late spring to early fall of each year, that my feet are going to feel overheated and sweaty. Thus, despite their wonderful attributes of comfort and ruggedness, I end up feeling "icky" in them, because when my feet are too hot - so am I! But great news my Keen friends, I have now worn my two pairs of Whispers sunup to sundown, in temperatures pushing 100 degrees, with not a shred of sweat on my feet! In addition, even with less rubber sole padding than my other Keens, my problem feet (bone spurs, broken down arches/tendons from years of mountaineering/ backpacking) feel just as comfy and supported, if not more so, as I go about my busy days indoor/outdoor, wherever, I can wear the Whisper all day long - and not even notice I am still wearing them as I head to bed! They feel like slippers. I'm not sure why they lack the "sweaty, hot" feel of my other Keen sandals - maybe it's the suede lining in the upper instead of leather, but the cushy upper keeps my feet comfy and cool - and this my Keen friends, is why I currently don't wear any other shoe than the Whisper! I wish I could afford every color in my size, as I don't want to ever wear them out, or have Keen discontinue them in the future! Yes, I am obsessively in love with these shoes, but it's a good thing - try them and you will see.

So far these are good! These shoes make my feet feel like they are surrounded by a cloud! I purchased them because I will be spending several weeks in the west of Ireland and they will be perfect for going between the tide pools on the beach and walking along the cliffs. The Beet Root/Gargoyle color is perfect, a nice deep crimson, not as bright as I was worried they might be. Since I could not get the color at my local Rri I bought through Zappos and was very happy with the service. I normally wear an 8 but after trying them on at Rri I decided to go with an 8½ which fits perfectly. These are not sexy shoes, but I love the style, especially in this color, and comfort is a requirement for me.

I have been recovering for a year from plantar fasciitis and this is the best walking and working shoe/sandal I have ever found! I have shopped the high-end "healthiest possible" options and paid close to $100 for several pairs of working-walking sandals. This one is number one in my experience. I am buying some for my daughters next. Thanks for such a great combination of comfort, support, ease of use. And they are fun to wear!

I love these shoes. I cook in a coffee shop and am on my feet all day. The first day I put them on, I was in love. I sometimes walk home after work and I have never had an uncomfortable minute. I wear a 10.5 that is very hard to find. Worth every penny!

I love these shoes! I have many pairs of Keens and these are definitely one of my favorites. I also have the purple ones too.

Keen sandals are great shoes. I own two other pairs in gray and the other black but I could not find brown until I finally found them on Zappos. They are the same quality and Zappos is a great company to work with.

The color was a little brighter than I expected, but I love the shoes. They look great, fit very well, are really comfortable and are built strong and sturdy. I want another pair in another color.

I have been wearing one pair of Keens for years and just bought these. Wow! They are a lot lighter and cuter than my first pair and the Beet Red is so pretty. I recommend highly!

Love these sandals! I originally bought the Venice H2, but once I got them on they were too wide for my narrow feet and looked like clown shoes. The Whisper is the style for me! It fits my foot perfectly, and as other reviews say, go up a half size. The 9.5 was just a tad too short and my big toe kept touching the toe guard causing my heel to hang off a little. The 10 is a perfect fit. Working in retail I need to have the most comfortable shoes for standing on my feet all day, and these fit the bill. When I have to wear other shoes I always pack these along to switch over to later in my shift. Can't wait 'til it stays warm and I can wear these all the time!

I ordered these last minute for a trip to Costa Rica because the other reviews were so great, and they were right! These shoes were the best! The only complaint I had was I found them to be slightly slippery when trekking through rivers over the rocks. Comfortable right out of the box!

Just got my Keen Whisper. I usually wear a 8 and ordered a 8.5. Perfect fit! So comfortable. Going to hike the Red Canyons in a few days with these babies! Can't wait!
