I love the roomy toe box of all Keens, and these are no exception. It should be noted that, true to the style of all converse Chuck Taylor-type sneakers, these are a little bit narrow in the mid section of the shoe, but I've taught myself to lace them not so tightly and they're comfortable. I would also note that they're not built for traveling around the world. These are lightweight canvas shoes with little support and wont last forever. The one day I walked several miles in them my feet did end up a bit achier than if I'd worn my arch-supporting Merrill walkers. But heck, these are inexpensive, not expensive, and they're more for funky, laid-back style than for being a road or trail warrior. Enjoy!

The only downside to this product is the sole. If you notice side of the sole is only glued and mine opened. :( But thanks to Zappos they replace it ASAP!

I dig these shoes. I wear a size 14, so narrow, old Chuck Taylors look pretty goofy on me. Okay, these look goofy too; all shoes look goofy at size 14, but these Keens are pretty slick. I love the wide toe bed; my piggies need breathin' room! Get some. You know you wanna. Oh. Get this! I ordered these at 7pm & received them the next morning. How's that for fast, Skippy?

I purchased these in olive/picante. Out of the box, I was in love with these shoes. They were stylish, simple, and as comfortable as canvas shoes can get (i.e., not great cushioning). That said, within six months, the tears began developing between the sole and the canvas upper. These are the sort of tears one might expect from a brittle fabric that was left too long in the sun. I would tolerate this in a cheap pair of sneakers from Payless. This was unacceptable in such expensive shoes.

Frustratingly, the quality seems to have taken a downturn. I loved Coronados, but these latest ones feel different. There used to be no wear-in period, but now the heel is very painful. There are plastic pieces sticking out that dig into the skin. I've had to stop wearing these until I can take a nail file to them and then try again.

I am a huge Keen fan. I bought a pair based on some of the reviews, I was looking for a nice pair of shoes to wear with jeans. First day I got bad blisters and am still having a hard time breaking them in. They also have zero traction and are slick on floors. I am still a loyal Keen buyer, just don't love these!

I love the look of these shoes. I really like what Keen does; they make stylish shoes that fit my wide feet. But these lack the support I need. I tried inserting my New Balance inserts, but the problem seems to be more the cushion of the sole than the arch and insert support. If you're a middle-aged dog like me (I'm 49) and you prefer your shoes comfortable and supportive, these may not be for you. However, if those are less important to you, these are a great alternative to the overplayed Chuck Taylors.

The shoe fits and looks great, but the sole has no traction. Seems slippery on wet or dry flooring.

These shoes look great - but unfortunately I'd have to recommend against buying them, as they are really uncomfortable! I've been wearing them fairly frequently for about 2 months now, and though they seem to have "broken in" a bit, they remain quite stiff, with a few places that rub/cause blisters. Not comfy for anything more than short walks. Too bad, because I really do love how they look.

These shoes are very comfortable and I like the style. However, they are not very durable.
After only two months of wear, they developed worn patches, and tears in the canvas along the sides. After about ten months of wear, the bottom side of one heel became partially detached.
They are still wearable, but I was surprised at how quickly they began to fall apart.

Originally was drawn to these because they looked like better-fitting version of Converse All-Stars. I'd had a great experience with Keen sandals, and was hoping for a wider toe box and more support. They turned out to be comfortable enough, but sorely lacking in durability. Wore these once or twice a week and within months tears formed between the upper and the sole. A year later the upper fabric is shredded in several places, parts of the interior heel have disintegrated, the upper has disengaged from the sole in two places, and -- a new one to me -- part of the rubber sole have separated from other parts. No one should spend any money on such shoddy workmanship.

Great shoe fit and looks-wise, had 2 pairs! But I don't know if it was the vulcanized rubber insole or what but after washing them, they gave off a nasty aroma that I could not get rid of. I have other Keens that don't have this problem.

Great sneakers, but you need a new pair of socks every day. Not kidding. I walked a lot in my Coronado Keens and every single night I had my (new) pair of socks' toes worn out so that my toes were sticking out. Yes, a hole. Why? Because they continue the rough canvas all the way inside the toe area. Poor design idea. The shoes are the best but buying so many sock drives up the price.

Please bring back the Grey ones! I've gone through 4 pair of them. They are my favorites and I only have one new pair left. The blue ones are an electric blue that clash with jeans, pretty much what I wear every day. Black version would be great too.

The style was great, but durability was poor. These shoes started coming apart after only a couple of months of light wear. Fabric began to come apart on both the inside of the heel and the outside just back from the toe. The sole also began to come apart at the heel of one shoe. Not the quality I have come to expect from Keen, I have had canvas converse that have held up much better despite being inferior in comfort and style. I would not recommend this shoe to anyone.

The soles started separating from the rest of the shoe within two months of purchase. I love my Keen sandals, and these shoes look great (for about a month or two), but don't expect these to last.

I've gone through 2 pairs of these in the past 4 months. Both times the canvas ripped and started to separate from the side wall on the inside edge of the shoe, right where the shoe creases as you walk. I like the shoes, comfortable, light, reasonably priced... but they just don't wear well. Zappos replaced my first pair right away and when the same thing happened again, they just issued a credit and told me to keep the shoes. Great customer service as usual. 5 stars for Zappos... 1 for the Coronados.

As a long time fan of Keen Footwear, these shoes have been a huge disappointment. I've always bought Keens based on comfort and quality. This shoe has neither. The materials used in the Coronado are akin to those you might find in a dollar store product. The soles are not rubber, but a hard molded plastic made to look like rubber. The canvas upper feels like wearing a couple of burlap bags on your feet. The once rubber toe guard has been replaced by more horrible hard plastic that feels like the dash of a late Chrysler product. I purchased these shoes thinking they were a newer model of a Keen shoe I bought 3 years ago. That shoe has a similar "look" but the shoe has the rubber sole and toe guard found on the Newport. That shoe also has a soft cotton lining so you can wear them without socks. These shoes are unlined and will likely tear your feet to shreds. I suspect Keen, like most manufacturers, is trying to raise or maintain profit margins by selling a cheaper product with less quality.

The shoes have virtually no support or profile inside. They are stylish, but not functional. Also, the cotton laces were coming apart when I got them.
The price is excessive for shoes like this. Not at all what I expect from Keen.

I ordered this because Keen stopped making the Ventura, which if I knew they were doing I would have stocked up on them. The shoes are not comparable. I could stand, walk or do just about anything for hours in the Ventura. The Coronado however has the comfort of a Chuck Taylor or Old School Vans. That was fine when I was a kid, but I don't have a fountain of youth and am not likely to acquire one anytime soon. So I returned these.
