My 1-year old toddler enjoys this shoe during the summer. It's lightweight. The out-sole is flexible for him - great for stage 2 walkers. It's covered in the front to protect his toes from bumps yet roomy. The only thing that I didn't like was the in-sole. Even though the shoe has open spaces that allows breathability, the in-sole is not ventilated. When wet or sweaty feet, it leaves an odor causing stinky feet and hard to remove the odor from the shoe.

My 1 year old son loved these shoes I used them to take him to the outside sprinkler park near where we live. They were perfect because they have a good grip and he could run all around without slipping. I will be purchasing another pair for next summer if they're still available.

These are super cute and comfortable and super easy to put on my son's feet. They stay on and are easy to take off with one hand. I have an active 17 month old. I love these shoes! And I love Zappos!

Adorable little water shoes. These work very well as deck shoes as well. These are soft enough for beginning walkers. They slip on easily and stay on the foot. These are excellent, well made shoes for summer water sports!

These are really nice shoes and my almost 2 year old seems to like them....But, they do cause blisters on inside of his foot about halfway between his tow and heel. I think the more he wears them, the better it will get. My wife hates them because they do cause blisters but overall I think they are a decent sandal. I would get them again.

These are very cute, functional shoes. Nike seems to run a little small, so we had to buy a size up to fit my son. Because of this, they are a little big, and the back heel slides off his foot. Otherwise, very solid shoes!

These sandals are great for summer. They are lightweight and can be used in water activities or everyday wear. They tend to run small, had to send first order back and get a larger size. Shipping was quick and returns were easy. They do leave an imprint on child's feet but don't seem to be uncomfortable. Would highly recommend.

These shoes are cute, easy to put on and very light weight. I love the toe protector on the front and not needing socks. unfortunately, they have caused blisters on the inside of the foot arch - there's a little seam on the inside of the sandal in this spot. I've found that as long as he only wears them for a hour or so at a time - it's ok.

Nice sandal overall. I deducted a star because the straps are a bit short. My son has wide/thick feet and I feel the sandal isn't as secure as it could be. The shoe itself is well made. Glad I purchased these.

These are very cute but cause blisters if worn for a long period of time. So I only use them for water shoes and not as an all day shoe. They are great for the pool!

Work great for use in the kiddie pool and on wet surfaces, provides good traction. Easy on and off, dries quickly. They run a little narrow and after long hours of wearing leave little marks under the strap but doesn't appear to affect comfort. Great water shoe for little kids!

Loved this shoe last summer when my son was 1 and a fairly unsteady walker - protected his toes, drained well, dried quickly. His foot has become a bit wide and thick, so this shoe is not a great fit this summer. Luckily there are other styles!

Very cute. Very comfy, as my 2 year old wants to wear them everywhere. I love that they protect his toes, but they are very hot - his little feet are always sweaty in them!

Great light weight shoes to wear in the sprinkler but were a half size too small. My son would grow out of them in a week! Had to order a half size up.

These were really cute and easy to put on my 2 year old. Unfortunately they gave him blisters on the inside of his feet so they had to go back.

This style of shoe is very nice and comfortable, however a bit on the narrow side in size for my 2 year old. Shame we had to return them.

I purchased these shoes for my 15 month old son. I ordered one size up and they fit him well. They are adorable, but the stitching on the inside gave him horrible blisters on his instep. They were easy for him to walk in and well-made, but also very easy for him to quickly pull off.

These are super cute and I'm hoping we can make them work. However, my son got blisters on the inside of his feet from the rubber rubbing up against his arches. The sole seems too hard and the edges rubbed his feet raw.

My 2 year old had these last summer and loved them. Since his foot grew, I had to get a bigger size this year. As soon as I took them out of the box, I could see that the chances of them fitting would be slim. My son does have a wide foot with a high arch, so the velcro strap is too short for him. I could get the shoe on, but it was obvious that the trap was really "digging" into my son's arch. Too bad, since the sandals are very cute and functional. I would not recommend this style to anyone with a wide-footed toddler.

These shoes have a strong chemical smell. Ordered for twins; both pair have a terrible smell. Will be returning!

These sandals are soft, flexible and great for new walkers. The toe protection is also a must. Got a size 3 for my little guy. They are super cute, but his foot kept popping out of the back strap because it isn't high enough on the ankle. For toddlers with fat ankles the backstrap doesn't work very well. I would assume that larger sizes for more developed feet will probably stay on better, so maybe in future summers we will come back and try these again. Until then, I am going to try the Adidas Akwah Shoe because it appears they come up higher in the back.

I was so psyched that I found what I thought were the perfect shoes for my newly-mobile 14 month old. He loves water, and we live in Southern CA, but I'm not a fan of flip flops for littles, so these seemed to be a Godsend - closed toe! neoprene! velcro closure!... alas. The horrible design of these shoes has ruined them for me and made them the bane of my existence. Basically, the heel is too short, so they are always falling off. Like once every three minutes. Which is awesome when you have wiggly toddler who just wants to explore his newfound freedom to roam. So - if you want shoes to stay on your kids' feet, buy different shoes.
