Excellent product! I used it on a pair of Naturalista shoes that had the red leather quite worn out in the toe area. This Frye cream covered all the little scratches and gave a uniform color to the shoe. I'm very impressed! Now I can wear these shoes next summer because they now look very close to brand new!

Took a little longer to apply this product vs. the weather resistant spray but did not change the color of my brand new boots, so I did not mind at all! Made them extra shiny and after 4 weeks of wear, they haven't changed a bit!

Frye Leather Conditioning Cream makes my Frye boots soft and waterproof. My new boots (Melissa Tall Lace Up) needed two coats of this cream for water to bead up on the leather. I also used this on some old, dried-out Frye boots that I found at a thrift shop. At first, I used the Walking Company's Beeswax sealer (which works great on other leather) on the Frye's. The beeswax didn't work as well on the Frye boots, which still seemed kind of dry and stiff. After I used the Frye Conditioning Cream on the old boots, they became soft, supple and gorgeous. I've since used it on my 10 year old, black leather Dansko clogs and it makes them look good as well. While applying Frye Cream to my boots, I got some on my hands. Frye Cream even makes my hands soft. :-)

Used it on my Frye boots and it seems to bring some of the original supple creaminess back into the leather. Price seems fair compared to shoe polish at the drug store.

This product will darken your boots! Now that we have got that out of the way I would like to say that this is an excellent weather-proofer and goes a long way. This product will leave your boots soft, pliable and well protected. A little bit of love goes a long way with a good pair of boots.

Very highly recommend! Really brings out the beauty of the leather and helps to protect it. Wouldn't use anything else. I used it not only on my new Fryes but on a pair of Ariat cowboy boots - worked wonders on both.

I absolutely love this stuff! I needed a weather-proofing cream for my boots and purse in preparation for semester in Korea. I knew it there was going to be plenty of snow everywhere! I was lazy and let my boots brave the heavy rain and deep snow for about a month and half. Keep in mind I wore these boots everyday day; I decided to give the cream a try in the dead of the Korean winter. The moment I applied the cream (with a cotton wash cloth), it was as if my boots had just come from the store. I was afraid the color would change, but instead the cream just brought back its shine and richness. Tip: do wipe/buff off the excess cream. I ended up being able to stomp all around Seoul for the next few months, and they still look fantastic! Also tried the cream on my Rebecca Minkoff purse. Not as great results, but most likely because of the finish on the leather. Nevertheless, my purse is indeed shinier.

I used this cream to weatherproof my Melissa Buttons and it's worked well so far. With a small hand towel I applied the product, moving from small area to small area to make sure I covered the entire boot. I let them dry over night and they were perfect to wear the following day. My boots were already a dark brown so it didn't darken the boots significantly but I could definitely see how it would darken lighter colored boots. I barely made a dent in the container so I'm sure this can will last me while. You've invested a lot in these boots, buy this cream to take care of them!

These boots are flawless. If you would have told me I'd ever spend this much money on a pair of boots, I'd have laughed you out of the room. But seriously...I have not one regret (besides not being able to afford more colors!). The leather is absolutely beautiful; it's so soft and smooth. The styling on these is beyond gorgeous and I imagine they will never go out of style. When I first put them on I literally thought they were custom made because they fit so well. I normally wear a 7-7.5 and ordered a 7 and it is perfect. They fit my calves wonderfully (I have below average-average sized calves). I could see them being a little too tight on somebody with wider calves though (sorry athletes). I'm 5'3" and was worried about them being too high up on the leg but they literally are amazing and hit maybe 2 inches below the knee. The zipper is amazing and makes it so easy to put on/take off the boots. I ordered the fawn color, and despite my earlier reservations, I love it now. The arch support is amazing. I am pretty sure I could run a marathon in these and be completely fine. If you can at all afford these, please don't hesitate. I imagine these would end up being cheaper in the long run as they'll last for years instead of having to replace cheaper pairs. This is my first pair of Frye boots, but I am so sold on the brand now.

I have the Frye Harness 12R boots in tan. I've had them for a little more than a year and a half now. I go to school in the northeast; because this winter really dulled down the look of my boots I decided to order the cream, never having treated my boots before. It made such a difference! It doesn't darken the leather as much as making the color richer, and I got complimented on my boots the morning after I polished them. Absolutely recommended, no matter how old your Fryes are! Additionally, you won't need a lot, so it'll last and you'll also be able to use it on different items.

I bought a pair of "new to me" Frye campus boots that were dry and parched. I have put 3 coats of cream on them now over a course of 1 month. Now the leather is rich and supple and looks gorgeous! This is a great product.

Great stuff! I was worried about what to put on my Fryes... until I found this. :) I don't think it waterproofs very well, but certainly conditions. Very nice product.

I bought this cream in lieu of a new pair of Frye boots. I used it on an old pair of Nine West boots that I have had for five years. They look so much better now! I do agree with the reviewer who said it darkens the color of the leather, but it felt like I was doing the right thing and taking care of an old pair of boots I love. It helped lessen the look of scarring / drying / water marks that the boots have accumulated over the years. This was money well spent!

I love this stuff. I read somewhere that it can darken the leather. I have the Melissa Button Boot in Cognac and they didn't get any darker. I used it after having the boots for 3 months and it made the leather look good as new and softened any creases that were forming.

Easy to apply. If you're messy, like me, I recommend having extra cloths on hand. It didn't change the color of the boot, which I was afraid of happening.

Works well to restore shine to leather and weatherproof it to prevent staining in the rain, etc. However, do not use it on distressed looking boots if you like them like that. I polished some distressed boots and they looked brand shiny new and I hated it. Luckily, if you do that, you can put acetone on a rag and wipe the cream off to get back to the distressed look.

This stuff works like a dream. I used it on my vintage Justin Roper boots and old leather Coach bag, made everything look brand new! Really rejuvenated the leather; before it was dull and scratched up and now it has a rich color and scratches and scuff marks are faded. Worth the price and a little goes a long way. I'm sure it will come in handy and last for years to come.

Works great. We use it on all of our leather shoes. Restores color and protects against the elements. If you buy Fryes or other quality boots, do yourself a favor, buy this stuff and take care of your investment; they'll last forever if you do.

Well, leave it to Zappos to have the best leather conditioning product ever and at a reasonable price. My daughter used the Frye Conditioning Cream on the Frye boots I bought from Zappos for her Christmas present. She walks through puddles of water and they really are water repellent. The Frye Dressing makes them look great too. I would expect nothing but excellence from Frye. And Zappos is amazing. They carry the best products and have the best customer service of ANY online or brick & mortar store. Hands down.

I haven't tried the boots in snow yet, but I applied the product and the leather looks great! I just purchased some antiqued fryes that were a little too weathered looking for my taste. Problem solved: they now look rich and gleaming, but still have enough character. I hope the product does well in foul weather, too.

Great product. Worked as described and didn't change the color of my Frye boots too much. Just made them shiny. Also it does not have strong scent, which I like.

Not only did this make my shoes look amazing but I used it on all my old leather bags. Particularly, a few that I have bought at the Salvation Army and other consignment stores. They now look amazing. I was even considering getting rid of a bag of mine but after I polished it with this, it now is my new daily handbag. I live in an area where there is barely any rain and I would never wear my Frye boots in bad weather, but I do know this protects nicely. Buy it!

I am very pleased with this conditioning cream. I waited a while to use it because I was concerned that it would significantly darken the leather on my Fryes, but I was happy to find the darkening was incremental and more of a deepening of the color. There is also no odor, which is nice. I will be using this regularly to protect and condition the leather. As always, Zappos got this to me at an incredibly fast speed. Thanks, Zappos, and Frye!

Zappos did a fine job with the shipment time and value. They did send this tiny item in a shoe box, but hey you use what you got. The product itself is exactly what I was looking for. Warning, I did order this conditioning cream expecting and wanting it to slightly darken the leather.

This leather conditioner is a lifesaver for all your leather shoes and handbags! I'm a firm believer in shelling out money for products that last, so it would only make sense that I want to protect my investments. Everything about this little tin of wonder is great! The price is nice for the amount of product you receive - I have conditioned two pairs of knee-high boots, my pair of Engineers (12r) and a large sized Fossil purse and it looks like I used a very small amount of the product in the tin. It's easy to open, just pops open with a press on the lid. Grab a soft cloth (I used a worn out flannel that I had cut up for rags) and swipe it through the product, then apply to whatever you're conditioning in little strokes. (I apply in a circular pattern) Let the conditioner sink in - I recommend overnight - and then buff off any extra with another cloth. Leaves leather gleaming and well protected! I have the plum colored Engineers and I didn't find the color of the leather to have changed at all, same for my black and cognac Veronica back-zips and my red leather Fossil bag. (However, you may want to test in a more hidden spot just to make sure.) I keep a tin in my purse just in case any scuffs or scratches show up, and they disappear quickly like magic! Great stuff, perfect for protecting your beloved shoes, handbags, or anything else that's leather! I recommend adding it in with your next purchase of boots, you'll be happy you did!
