This shoe runs large--and is too large for me. Even in a size smaller, however, I don't find it to be a flattering style.

I liked the way these shoes looked but they were too wide and too long. Also the back of the shoe came higher than was comfortable and if they fit better everywhere else, I would be concerned about them rubbing and creating a blister. But maybe if they fit better everywhere else that wouldn't be a problem.

This is a really cute shoe, but sadly I will be returning it. The strap is too high up on my instep, which makes it very uncomfortable. If only it were lower down toward the toes, this would jump to a 5 star shoe. The material is very breathable, and the heel cushion is surprisingly bouncy. The search for a cute summer shoe I can wear in water continues.

Unfortunately these didn't work for me. They rubbed the sides of my feet (where the strap is) giving me blisters! Too bad, I really liked them but they do not work for me.

I love how light and airy these shoes are.i They are true to size, too! The problem is that either I got a bad one, or I have sensitive feet. The stitching on the inside is scratchy. I wore them around the house for a few minutes and they were rubbing against my feet and left a red mark. I am disappointed.

I keep buying this shoe because I need ventilation and the mesh keeps fraying within three months. Looking for something else ventilated.

I have been looking for weeks for a pair of Merrell's to replace the pair I bought four years ago. I love their shoes but have a difficult shoe size to find - 5.5 and quite wide. These shoes more or less matched what I was looking for, and the length was fine. However, they were quite tight on the top of my foot. They were also not put together well - the top part of the shoe had an asymmetrical look. Needless to say, I was disappointed.

I'm really puzzled by the rave reviews for this shoe. In general Merrells are an excellent fits for me. That and the fact that I thought they were very cute swayed me to keep them despite their mediocre support from the start. Pros: they're cute, breathable and light weight. Cons: No support whatsoever. Wish I had had the good sense to return them!

Disappointed with color. Definitely not as shown. It's more a grey shade. Shoe itself is fine.

I think that Merrell's are the type of shoes that either absolutely work for your feet or don't. Unfortunately, I fall into the latter category. I am looking for cute flats that have good cushioning and arch support and that I can run errands for hours in. Unfortunately these are going back.

I was referred by my podiatrist to you to purchase Q-form shoes. They did not help my foot problem and when I returned to podiatrist she said they were not even close to Q-form shoes; just the insole was labeled as such. She was so surprised and will never recommend patients to this site. We had to purchase another insole (another expense!). I love the shoes except they were not what I ordered.

There is a seam on the inside of the shoe and it rubbed on both of my feet and created blisters. Not enough support either for long European walks on cobblestones. They look really nice but I'm disappointed with that seam. It might not hurt others.

I order 8.5 which is my normal size. These were a good full size too big. They also rubbed the sides of my feet--the lower sole is very jagged and cuts into your foot. I was soooo disappointed because they were otherwise great support.

The taupe color is darker than how it appears in the picture. Cute shoes but for my foot, the sides rubbed uncomfortable around the back of the heel and in the toe box over my pinky toe. I will have to return them and keep looking. I have several other pairs of Merrell shoes and I don't think the footbed on these is as comfortable and supportive as my other Merrells.

Cute and true to size. The back heel is high and cuts right into the back of my ankle. Too bad because I really liked these shoes.

I previously owned two Breeze models of this style and am still wearing them. I ordered another pair since the style is great in the spring and fall. The 10.5 pair I wear with socks and the 10 without. These shoes are not a substitute. I do not care for the open fabric since it lacks substance, the arch seems in the wrong place and they are too wide. I do not recommend them. The only thing I would see use for them is expensive water shoes.

Wish these shoes had worked but the mesh lining at the instep was very rough so I had to return them. In addition the shoes run a little large but with socks it would have been ok but without socks the shoes were too large.

I ordered this shoe because I have worn its predecessor many miles comfortably in the past. It was a great shoe. This version has a lot less cushioning. It's also snugger -- less forefoot room than in the past. Too bad.

I have been a hugely loyal Merrells fan for years, and I'm really disappointed. I read where someone else had a hole developed near where little toe rubs against the shoe, which is what happened to me. It's comfortable enough, but now that I know other people have had the same problem, I'll look for another, sturdier brand. Too bad, but these shoes are too expensive to fall apart after only a few months.

Oh darn, this shoe came close. It's a very attractive, chic looking athletic mary jane with breathable mesh and removable sole for those needing orthotics. Sounds perfect right? Unfortunately, the craftsmanship of the seems are marginal and the discomfort behind my ankle made this shoe not possible for me. Socks were not enough buffer for the chaffing and would defeat the purpose of a mesh mary jane. If there is a way to modify the hard edge behind the ankle I would do it!

Less than impressed - much less! I ordered these for a trip I'm taking in a few weeks based on all the positive reviews of comfort and support. I'll be doing a lot of walking on the trip and I don't want sore feet. Immediately I noticed that while there is moderate heel support, there is zilch in the way of support under the balls of the feet. I decided to keep them and see if they just needed to be "broken in" but the more I wear them, the worse it gets! For a shoe this pricey, the comfort level should be through the roof and like I said, I am much less than impressed. I can't send these back since I've worn them around the house for a couple of days, but needless to say I will be buying another pair of shoes for my trip - some with support for the whole foot!

They rub a little in the heel, but my feet are particularly sensitive to this. Cute with socks with the sock color showing through.

I love Merrell shoes and was really excited to get this shoe. Sadly, I may have been too excited. I took them on a trip to Atlanta with me this summer, figuring they'd be a welcome change from bulky tennis shoes in the heat. The first time I tried them on, they were SO comfortable, I confidently left the house in them to go for a three-mile walk one day. Before I'd gone a mile, they had already rubbed a blister on the back of my heel, and by the time I got back to the house, the blister was bleeding (from only 30 minutes of use). This was undoubtedly partly my fault since I wasn't wearing socks (to maximize the benefit of the breathability) and hadn't broken them in extensively. Still, for them to have blistered me in that short a time, I was so disappointed, I actually threw them away. I still gave it three stars because the shoe is adorable and might have been perfect if I'd prepared properly. My caution: test them out (or break them in) in way you intend to use them before counting on them for anything. They'll probably be fine in that case.

I have been debating about these shoes for awhile. I wanted something cool for summer light hikes, treks around town, and while traveling. I love the look, they are adorable with shorts, skirts, capris. Alas, they are not strong enough - there is not enough side to side support and my feet wobble around in them. They probably will work for gentle sightseeing or window shopping. They do have a nice grippy sole. They run a little big, so I have to wear socks with them which sort of defeats the purpose of this idea. I wear a 5½, I can sometimes wear a 6 but these in a 6 are big. My feet are on the thin side of medium. Also the inside of the heel is rough. I have worn them so I cannot return them. I will probably consign them. I wish they were sturdier, smaller, and felt more secure on my feet. They are very sporty, cute, stylish but for me not functional.

I have been looking to replace an Ecco shoe like this that I love which is getting old. It has been discontinued I guess. This is much more flimsy and has less support. I have had plantar fasciitis and must wear very supportive shoes. Unfortunately I disposed of the box, etc. too quickly and never wear these shoes so they sit in my closet ! Big disappointment.
