I bought these shoes in the hope I can walk 3 -5 miles without my feet hurting. The soles are very soft so it is more like walking barefoot. So I find there is not enough support for a 3 mile walk. However, they look great and your feet stay cool and are great for everyday wear.

Great looking and comfortable. However, the back is very stiff and can cause abrasions when wearing no socks.

Good shoe. My foot is wide in the forefoot, narrow in the heel. This shoe fit pretty well, but I swapped out their insoles for better ones and will probably put a heel pad in them. Should be a great shoe for this warm climate.

I usually wear a 10.5 in a Merrell and this shoe is true to size. There is no arch support and the shoe is very light. I would not use it for unpaved trails. I would use it for being cute around the house and yard.

Moleskin needed for a few wears on the heel, but now very comfortable walking shoe. Generally wear a 7 1/2 but needed an 8. As always Zappos provided excellent service!

While normally I wear a 7.5, the size 8 fit better. These were cute for a comfort shoe, and they still look very casual and sporty - I wouldn't wear them to work. The mesh is not very flexible and the soles didn't feel as supportive as other Merrell shoes.

Although I did return this shoe, I thought it was a nice looking and comfortable shoe. It was a bit wide for my foot, and I didn\'t end up caring for the mesh that much, but an appropriate choice for someone else.

Great shoes, as most Merrell's are. Very comfortable, has arch support and are lightweight. goes well with pants or shorts.

I love my Merrell's! This shoe is a little wide for a narrow foot, but it feels great. It also runs a little long, so I ordered a half-size smaller based on another review I had read.

I love these shoes. They are what I was looking for - wear with or without socks. I like to wear little footies that don't show at all. My feet aren't in the best condition (they are 72 years old) so I added a little cushioning under the insole at the ball of my feet. Very little arch support.

This is my second pair of these (I wore out the last version this summer). They’re a little soft on the bottom, but they have good support and good airflow for the summer. They are nicer than flipflops, and I love the closed toe for the city.

If you need casual summer shoes with both heels and toes, these are fine. They are reasonably well-ventilated and moderately cushioned, and adapt well to orthotics. I doubt that they\'d be good for long days on your feet.

These shoes are good summer casuals, but be careful of size.They run a little large, unlike Merrells I have worn before, which tended to run small.

Cute shoe; good for summer heat due to the mesh fabric. The black is a little odd with my foot & toes showing through, but I need something more covered than sandals, & the ubiquitous Keen sport sandals & similar styles don't fit my feet. I am going to put a cushioning insole in ball of the foot area because my toes are low volume & these have ample room, but don't think a shorter length would work. Will also work with socks once things cool down around here. Not yet my 'perfect' shoe, but close!

I want to love these shoes but I'm not there yet. They are very flexible so don't expect a lot of support. They are also very lightweight so they would be good for travel. The mesh is a little rough on the feet if you wear them without socks. I am hoping that will go away with time. I bought the taupe based on some reviews that said it was a good color to go with everything. Unfortunately, that color looked terrible on my feet so also I bought bamboo. Those look much better. One thing to note, the taupe shoes were one half size too small. I wear an 8.5 and needed an 8. But the bamboo shoes were true to size.

Merrell shoes always fit! They have that amazing ability to shape the heel and support the instep. These are also lightweight and cool for summer, and can easily go from dressy to hosing off the mud from mountain biking! One thing I\'d like to change: I have a high instep, and I\'m finding that the strap on mary janes is better for me if it\'s placed higher up. This one is right in the middle - so the added pressure if I\'m on my feet 18 hours (a normal day) can make my feet swell.

These are very comfortable walking shoes. For a sports shoes look good, not bulky and even somewhat cute. I have got bamboo color, which is pleasant pale lime-green. The shoes are a bit on the wide side, but Merrell hiking boots fit me just like that. These shoes do not look good with skinny jeans, though. Shorts and short skirts, as well as flare or boot cut pants are fine.

Finally - water shoes with an arch support! Thus far I love them, but haven\'t tried swimming in them yet. They\'re light weight so I\'m hopeful that they\'ll work well when swimming.

Cute, comfortable and lite shoe for summer. I have all sort of foot issues (bunion, arthritis, recovering from stress fractures) so it\'s been hard to find a shoe that works for me. This one does. It looks good with capris or shorts. The support isn\'t great so I don\'t wear if I have to do a lot of walking. For that I use my Merrell Waterpro Pandi.

The Merrell Shoes are great looking but run large. My mistake. I should have ordered a smaller size. Oh well, next time!But they feel comfortable, have good support and are light and very packable.

Beautiful design, great comfort. I purchased the bamboo color and it is a bit more greenish than yellowish. Impeccable quality of the shoes and great service, delivered next day by Zappos. I ordered my size, 8 and found them a bit large (wide) and I have a wide foot. I then tried the 7.5 but found it too small so I kept the 8. I wore them to work one day for 5 hours and they were extremely comfortable and I got a lot of compliments. I also own them in the dark rose color.

Good Travel Shoes: light-weight and comfortable. Best when worn with a light sock as your feet will sweat a bit.

If you plan on wearing these shoes without socks then I recommend ordering them a half size smaller than whatever size shoe you wear with socks. They are a sort of casual enclosed sandal. They are fine and pretty comfortable for general, every day walking around, running errands, etc. The only thing that would improve them is if Merrell made them without using any animal hide. It's time we had more animal-friendly options in shoe wear.
