I usually like Merrell shoes but in this case, the shoe just didn't fit my foot well. I couldn't get the strap to adjust just right: the shoe slid off my heel and when I tightened the strap across the top of my foot, the sliding would stop, but it hurt the top of my foot. These shoes look well-constructed and would definitely be cool on hot feet given the mesh fabric, which was something I wanted (my feet get hot easily). Insole is removable if you wish to insert your own orthotic, which I'd recommend-there is little to no arch support otherwise.

These shoes are comfortable but only have moderate arch support. I'm glad the arche support comes out so I can replace them with my own inserts.

I got these to replace a pair of Merrell Encore sandals/Mary Janes that were similar in style. While these are less padded and slightly less comfortable for long walks, they still provide a nice amount of air and are fairly sleek for a shoe of this style. They're quite breathable and are true to size.

I got a size down from my usual after reading the other reviews and that was dead-on. I'm usually a 7.5 with narrow feet and the 7 is great, doesn't feel too wide either. I immediately saw what so many others were talking about, there's a plastic part under the arch that makes no sense, it rubs sharply into your soft under foot and would cause painful problems within a minute of use. I took nail scissors and cut them down and it's all good! Nice cushion in the heel, functional, flexible and I think they'll be great for my month in the various climates of Asia!

They are cute, light, airy, and my favorite walking shoes to date.

The OrthoLite pad does not cover the rubber insole at the arch which caused a slight discomfort at first, but very comfortable otherwise. I could wear all day immediately with no problems

Probably curer in another color (I got putty), and the toe box seemed narrow.

These shoes will be useful for all day walking. Rarely can I say that about any shoe.

Nice shoes, but wider and longer than other Merrells I ordered at the same time in the same size (7). I was hoping for a wider size, so that's good, but it's a bit roomy overall, and has less arch support than I would like. There is a bit of arch support, but if given the choice I'd rate it between moderate and none.

Comfortable, ventilated for cool wear with foot protection. The insole is a little squeaky and when I tried to replace it with an orthotic insole it really squeaked.

This shoe is incredibly comfortable. It has become my go-to casual shoe. It is cute but not adorable. I wish it came in additional colors (only taupe and black are available). It would be 5 stars if I could get it in a prettier color.

I wear size 11 M shoe. have very wide instep with a bunion on my 5th toe area on both sides. my heels, however, are quite narrow. I also have very high arches. the mary jane strap always helps to keep a shoe on my foot better. I needed a pair of summer shoes to wear that would not be hot but also have some style and comfort as I am a nurse working in a cardiac rehab dept. And have to take vital signs while my patients are using the exercise equipment. The rubber soles and strap help me to stay stable as I climb the equipment and I think the shoes look relatively cute and professional (and cool because my feet get really hot in summer!).

This shoe is comfortable and cute but I wear a size 10.5 however this shoe is so roomy, I need to try a size 10... I purchased the sand color and I think its nice, may try the black. This one will show dirt a lot sooner! I love Zappos! No worries man!

Nice summer shoe, a little rough inside so needs socks or peds. Too large for me and not enough support even with inserts which I need. Still a well made shoe.

I wound up returning this pair because it didn't quite fit right, BUT I have VERY difficult feet to fit. So that's not necessary the fault of the shoes. It found the soles to be a little on the hard side for my taste. I tried my orthotics with them, and while those helped with the fit/feel issues, but something about the shape of the heel meant the orthotics kept slipping around. They're a nice shoe and I think would have worked well for my purpose (travel) if I didn't have such difficult feet.

I picked these up for a family trip to Walt Disney World because I wanted to be comfortable but still look cuter than regular sneakers. At home they felt like a dream, but the wideness meant that I had a lot of rubbing and blisters on the first day. After some breaking in, these were great though. Toe box seemed very wide.

I have only worn these shoes a few days but I like them so far. They are comfortable and my feet are not tired at the end of the day. I normally wear a 9½ in shoes like these and their 9½ is great, if I wear thin socks. If I wanted to wear them barefoot I think I would need to go down half a size, though they might be a bit too small then.

Very comfortable. Good walking shoe. One shoe has some sharp edge inside, hence I cannot wear them without socks.

Ordered the taupe. It's a good looking shoe, given the type. The fit is accurate. Not much, if any, support, but there's enough room to swap out the thin footbed with a better one that offers more support.

These are cute enough and cool but there was something on the inside that rubbed my toe which I manage by putting on a Band-Aid on that toe when I wear them. I kept them and would try them again; They are just not my favorite Merrells.

Really like the shoes. Very comfortable but did have to add extra inter sole and more arch support. My arch is very high. They do run a little large in size, too. Nicely made & good quality shoe. Delivered fairly quickly. Go Zappos!

Merrells are so well made. This shoe is the perfect design but the webbing scratched my feet. It was just what I was looking for. Fit was very good for my wide feet.

I ordered these shoes for travel. I really wanted them to work for me. They are cute and comfortable. Unfortunately, I have narrow feet and no matter how tight I made them, my heel slipped. So sadly, I must return them.

Comfortable but they do run large. You should plan on wearing socks with them. I like the mesh upper and it really lets the air circulate.
