Best shoe I’ve ever ran in! Great shoe for an athlete who is big (6’6” 295lbs size 16 shoe). Great support for the ankle and arch. A lot of padding, yet not a heavy shoe. Great everyday runner even for the streets. Looks good and is perfect for your everyday activities. Couldn’t be happier with the shoe.

Always have heard about Asics and wanted to try them. I have wide feet and high arches and have had a lot of foot pain over the last year running with cheaper ($50 range) shoes. Have had these shoes for a few weeks now and love them. Very comfortable and supportive and don’t have a lot of the pains I have had over the last year. I am converted to spending a little more on my running shoes for now on and these Asics are great.

These shoes are for my husband, who has wide feet. We order a size up for him (he usually wears size 9) and they fit great. Then again, I also wear Asics in a size larger than normal, and I don’t have wide feet. I would definitely recommend ordering a full size larger than normal, across the board, for these shoes. And he has been raving about how comfortable they are.

I used to wear NB and they are great, but ASICS work better for me because I need more cushioning for my weight. These shoes have awesome cushioning and if they last half as long as the 2130s, I will be happy. I run about 4-6 miles a week and these work great for me. I have these in 4E, if you have a wider foot, but don’t want to get a wide size, these would be good because I know even in the regular width they run a little wider than most.

Love these sneakers! I have bought a new pair each year for four years - very comfortable and I am a teacher, so they stand up to the abuse of being on my feet every day. I have bad knees, so I put a gel insert in, but they can definitely be worn without any extra padding if you don’t have any problems.

This is my first pair of Asics, I have in the past bought Reebock, Air Gel, Nike and New Balance, the first time I tried them on, the support was the best I have ever had in my arch. They did not really need any breaking in time and believe me for the little extra cost, I will be getting another pair when these wear out...

These are the best running shoes I have had since my old Gel Lytes. They are comfortable, providing plenty of cushioning and support.

I LOVE these shoes!! Over the past two years, I have had three foot surgeries. As a result, it has been very difficult for me to find any shoes that are comfortable to walk in for any length of time. I also have the additional problem of very long, narrow feet. As a woman, it has been quite frustrating to me to not be able to wear women's shoes comfortably due to my size 12N feet. Therefore, for the past year I have tried numerous pairs of men's athletic shoes and have not been able to find any that fit me well or are comfortable. Finally, I found this pair of Asics GT-2140, which are so comfortable that I have absolutely fallen in love with them! Thank-you, Zappos, for all your help and patience!!!

Good arch support. Great cushion. Would buy another pair.

I bought these on sale (last year's model perhaps) in D width and I'm very happy with them. I walk/run approximately 2-3 miles at a time four or five days per week and these shoes are more supportive and more comfortable than the New Balance they replaced. They seem more rigid than other shoes but not in a bad way. I have broken toes and fallen arches so these seem to be working well for messed up feet like mine.

I was so excited to get my 2140s. I’m no distance runner, but from the regular athlete’s perspective, these shoes are great. They make running so much more comfortable for someone who over pronates. Plus they look awesome. I will definitely buy another pair of 2140s or get the 2150s when mine wear out.

They’ve kept the shin splints away, but that has a little to do with the fact that I put in the most supportive inserts I could get. That’s not a slam against this shoe though. I’ve never had a shoe that didn’t need inserts to keep the splints away. The only issue I’ve had with these is some minor blistering issues, but that’s more my fault for getting some that are just a little too narrow with inserts. Next width up would likely solve that problem.

Great fit and immediately comfortable. I bought inserts which I do not need because the shoe is ready to go out of the box. Fits true to size and I am very happy with it.

I used to wear New Balance running shoes, but the last few years they just didn't seem to work for me anymore. I started wearing Asics and they are working very well for my needs. I run between 4 and 10 miles every night. I have had no problems with blisters or sore feet at all. Asics are by far the best shoe I have tried.

Awesome running shoes that have a huge amount of arch support. The style is nice, but not too attention grabbing because they are just black and silver shoes. Good amount of cushioning around the ankles. Laces are nice and long. I would recommend these shoes to any runner.

Great sneakers! My son had problems with his ankles turning in from wearing skateboarding sneakers all the time. These sneakers provide incredible stability and position his feet so that the ankle is straight again. It was a visible difference the moment he put them on. They are comfortable, stylish, and functional!

I don't think anyone makes a more comfortable shoe than Asics. I have two pairs of these, a great running shoe and a great walking shoe as well. Wish I could wear them to work. They run just a tad on the small side, less than a half size.

I love Asics. They are the best for running. If your a runner then you will appreciate these shoes.

Purchased these for my son for Christmas. They were shipped quickly, fit was excellent and he says that they are extremely comfortable. Just perfect.

I tried a pair of New Balance 4E\'s and the width was not true. My orthotics did not fit. I switched back to the Asics GT-21XX series and they fit perfectly. I have been buying these shoes for years and keep looking for other replacements, but end up coming right back for another pair.

This was the first time I ordered shoes online. I liked to try the shoe on first because I\'m very particular of the fit of the shoe but I went by the size of my old Asics shoes and got the prefect running shoe.

I ordered three shoes this holiday, one for myself, one for the husband and one for my son. Shipping was speedy, everything packaged well, but not over the top as some companies do, where you're left with a giant box that could hold a dishwasher! All was fine, except I ordered wides, the box said wide, but the shoes are not wides. They fit pretty good, and I know they would exchange them out for me if I send them back, but I will just keep them. Happy with the fast shipping and service!

This is a great shoe, and very good support. I would definitely get another pair after these. Thanks Zappos for putting up all the shoe information, such as the over pronation. It is extremely helpful.
