Mixed reviews from my family on these. They do run small, so that is easily accommodated. They require a tug to get them on-definitely don't slip on easily, but that ensures a snug fit around the ankle which keeps out the cold. There is almost no down in the sole of the boot, so you feel every bump in the floor, and if your feet get extremely cold, you will still get icy feet. I have Raynaud's, and these work as bed booties, but not as slippers. Other people in the family don't mind the lack of down in the sole. We do ALL object to the thinness of the fabric in the sole. Booties which were worn around the house developed holes pretty quickly. Not a good thing!

I love everything about these slippers: the width, the light cushioning, the warmth without making my feet sweat, they stay on well and have decent grip on the bottom. However, I read in the reviews that you could wash them and that was a really important aspect for me as I wanted to wear these without socks around the house every day, but this is not true! The inside cushioning shrunk up to half the size and now they are ruined. I washed them cold/gentle and dried them on low. I suspect the dryer is what did them in. I will rate them a 4 because they easily could have made the cushioning out of polyester or something that doesn't shrink when washed. Also, there is no tag on them with wash instructions.

I last owned the low version of Baffin slippers and I wore a size Med. In the bootie version I needed a Large. They are very comfortable and keep my feet warm. I am very happy with them.

THE SKOZIEST! Wearing these is like putting your foot into a bundle of the softest fleece, borne heavenward - like wearing a sheep with wings...

Like walking on clouds! I normally wear a women's 8 1/2, so I ordered a large. They were a bit too small, so I exchanged them for an extra large. They're kind of goofy looking, but they're also super warm and comfy. The slippers are on the wide side, but I have narrow feet and it doesn't bother me.

Not bad... Overall, these do the job of keeping your feet warm. But the more you wear them, the looser they become, so the other review may have just needed to wait a bit. I thought they were too small at first too, but now they are a little loose. Nothing to worry about though. One concern I have is that my feet seem to feel a little colder than they did when these were new. But not "cold". My GF says they look goofy, but I'm goofy, so it's all good. Not an outdoor slipper though.

compared to the previous pairs of these I have had, they felt small. less room around the top of the foot at the ankle. Just disappointed. And why did my shipment come from amazon? I guess I'm behind the times.

I LOVE Baffin for its warmth. I have serious medical issues with the cold. The inside compacts within a week of wearing and they are too large. The sole starts rubbing off within days and a hole will appear eventually. It would be great if Zappos carried the cabin and other model with a real sole in addition to these.

I was rather confused by these. I bought them as slippers, which I realize isn't their main purpose but saw in other reviews that they worked well for others in this capacity. I had difficulty telling right from left (from the pictures, it seems like the product name should go on the outside of the boot, but the pair I got was the reverse, though it was hard to be certain because the sole cut lacked definition). The interior of one of the boots bunched painfully in the heel--perhaps I received a defective pair? Disappointing, as they seem to work well for others.

This is my 2nd pair. I love the style and weight and warmth of them. But, I normally wear 8.5-9. Unfortunately the size choices don’t cover my size. I can either choose 7-8 or 9-10. What sense does that make? Where is the 8-9? So last time I got them too big and they weren’t good. This time I decided to go too small and deal with it. I can feel the seam pushing against the back of my foot. Not comfortable. People are paying $50 for these slippers. They should fit correctly. I haven’t found anything better even though I could find something cheaper and as uncomfortable. I just wish they came in my size because I really like them. I won’t buy them again.

I normally wear a 12 or 13 depending on the brand of shoe so I ordered size XXXL after reading other reviews that said they run small. They fit fine, plenty of room and easy to get on and off. If you wear a 15 or larger though these may be a tight fit. The soles are soft and they're comfortable to walk around the house in. The reason I am only giving these 3 stars out of 5 is because they're just not that well insulated and don't keep my feet as warm as you'd expect with an average weight pair of socks on. I'll try them with my heaviest pair of wool socks before deciding whether or not to keep them. Note, I keep my thermostat at 60-62. If you crank the heat in your house you may find these sufficiently warm. Hope this helps. Cheers.

I really like this slipper, but I've had them for a year and I'm getting holes in the soles! Otherwise warmth and fit are good. I wear a 9 and the large fits fine. Wish the sole was padded a bit more though.

After having them a few weeks, I have some issues. The red is a lot darker than the picture. The name of color was Merlot or some other wine as I recall, so I probably should have realized, but it is not the bright red as in the picture. The booties were difficult to get on the first couple of times, but then smashed down a bit, as some reviews said and now wish I had not listened to the people who said to order up. Now they are a bit loose and not as warm as when they fit snugly those first few wears. I cooked dinner in them & they got splattered with something, so I threw them in the wash (not the dryer) and the padding in the bottoms got really clumped up. This is really uncomfortable. Try as I might, I have not gotten them straightened back out and they are now lumpy and have cold spots on the bottom. If I had it to do over, I might order my regular size, in a different color and not wash them. Then again, I might just order a different bootie.

Comfy, some wear. As other reviewers have stated, these feel tight at first, then loosen up after time. Unfortunately the drawstring on one of mine broke with not much pulling, and the seams at the toes are now spitting a bit. But they are fine slippers for around the house. Not too bad quality for the price.

Very warm slippers - One of the slippers, the left one fits fine, and the right slipper was not stitched right around the toe. I didn't know it at first because they fit okay, but after wearing them, the right toe section was very uncomfortable because it wasn't stitched properly.

These were purchased for warm post-knee surgery slippers. Unfortunately, the footbed design is not flat. The center is elevated well more than an inch while the edges are not. This makes the slippers very unstable when walking, with my feet sliding to the sides. A level memory foam type of foodbed would be better. Too bad, as the slippers otherwise would be what I was looking before.

Sadly, I was crushed by the low quality of these Baffin Cush Booties. The first pair I ordered came with the back seem of the left slipper open. Zappos had me keep those, since they don't have a machine to properly sew them up, and rushed me out a new pair. That pair were extremely unequal in width, one being very thin and one being very wide. It was obvious, especially looking at the footbeds. I sent them back, and Zappos speedily sent out another pair. But, though by sight they looked fine, the filling in the footbed of the right slipper was only on one side of the foot, making it uncomfortable to walk in. I felt weird sending back yet another pair, so I kept them. But I only wear them in bed, where I obviously won't be walking around. It's sad, because that pair has the most cushion around the foot itself. The booties with the open seem that I was allowed to keep are not that well cushioned and have very thin soles. I still love Zappos, but I will never buy the Baffin brand again.

I have owned a number of Baffin products including the "Booty". This last pair was total JUNK. I won't buy Baffin again unless they make this right. The size was horrible. Way off. Price up $20 plus dollars for a inferior product. Real cheesy.

I wear a size 8 which is usually a medium. But in these slippers, you should order a large. Here's my gripe - Baffin changed the design of these slippers as compared to previous years. They now fit tighter at the toes and have a different (worse) cushion in the bottom of the booty. They cost more than last year and are made "cheaper." These are going back to Zappos - I suspect a lot of these will be returned.

Not well made - this pair wore through the sole in 5 months - not like the pair I purchased a few years ago which were made with better materials (like a leather sole) and better construction. I paid $31.84 for this pair in November and I see that the price now is $59.95 (almost twice). Clearly these are not woth buying again.

These used to be my favorite slippers...not anymore. These slippers are no longer comfortable as the interior is squished and molded all out of shape. Baffin booty slippers used to come in a handy little fabric drawstring bag and now they don't. They come in a tiny box so that the slippers are contorted and all of shape before you attempt to try them on. They don't seem to be as cushioned in the footbed area either. All in all, this purchase was quite a disappointment. I returned these slippers.
