Just a suggestion: I've bought several pairs of these over the past few years, and while the lighter colors can be very pretty (at least, as pretty as puffy sleeping bags for your feet can be), the darker colors like the merlot get less obviously grungy-looking, in the same way that a red car looks cleaner than a white one.

First off, this is a size 5-6 slipper. It feels closer to size 5. So if you are a size 7 don't buy this. I'm a size 6 and this feels very snug. However, I know that once I break them in they will loose some of the padding. These are great slippers. They go up just past my ankle. They have grips on the sole and are very comfortable. I hope to have these for a long time.

Best slippers ever! I always have cold feet and these warm them right up. Bottom is made of slip resistant material. There is not a hard sole, which makes them great for lying in bed with. They do run small. I usually wear a mens 10.5 shoe and have narrow feet. I ordered an XL, but they were too small. The XXL fit me great!

So comfortable, but would recommend getting a size bigger. Love these slippers!

They're like sleeping bags for your feet! My foot is a 7. I bought the 7-8 size. They are just right for me, but I can see why others encourage you to buy a size up. If I wore a 7 1/2, I don't think they'd fit.

I love this slipper. I wore out my first pair and have now bought my next generation. They run small. If you are a size 8 and think you should get a medium, I recommend getting a large.

The heat went out in my home just before the cold weather hit. I ordered a pair of these. I was thrilled: they keep my feet very warm and comfortable. The bottoms are well padded to protect against cold hardwood floors. They may not be the most fashionable, but they do what they need to do. I love them.

Normally I buy Wal-Mart $9 slippers but in cold weather they are worthless. I've had these for about a month and my feet have been really warm. I thought the soles would wear out quickly but so far no problems. I may try to find some gloves made by this company. I love 'em.

I bought these for my husband and myself and we both like them. They're cushy and warm as we live in the cold northeast. They're exactly as it says, since there is no hard sole and they are soft, there is no arch support which is fine for hanging around the house. Wear and tear is as expected for the construction. I highly recommend.

Very warm - often too warm for in the house, but I bought these primarily for winter camping. The soles are absorbent so if you go outside in these, pull a plastic bag or stuff sack over top. My shoe size is 10 1/2 but I ordered the XXL and they fit well, almost snug.

Liked the product, but ordered an 2XL (men's 11/12) for my husband who wears a size 12. He could not even straighten out his toes, way too small. Hope to be able to get the 3XL, do run small!

I gave these as a gift and she can't stop raving about them. They do tend to be on the small side, but I think that is intended to conserve body heat in the foot. They're more for snuggling down on the sofa on a cold winter's day than walking.

Slipper definitely runs small in size. Since I need a sole with more support I returned them. However, if you are looking for something to keep cold feet toasty - these are the perfect!

These slippers are snuggly and warm. I love them. First pair was too small. I called about it and Zappos had exchange pair at my door the next day. They paid return shipping on the first pair. Customer service is the absolute best.

They are well made, very cushy and soft. The toggle is simple and easy to use and prevents them from slipping off. They do run small. I ordered a full size up and they fit perfectly.

I wear a size 9.5 women's dress shoe and the XL were too small. Recommend ordering two sizes up.

I am on my third pair of these in four years. I wear them almost every day, even in the summer, because I work in a very cold library. These are pretty much the only thing that make my feet not feel like they are in a refrigerator 24/7. They're also light and can easily squish into my bag. Other reviews say they are smaller than marked, but I usually wear a size 6 shoe, and I always order size small (5-6) for these. They are just really puffy at first, but they get roomier and mold to your feet soon enough.

My mother-in-law loves these. They are comfortable and warm and easy for her to get into.

These down booties were exactly what I was looking for to wear under mukluks while at the base camp on a dog sledding trip. They were even comfortable enough to continue wearing right in my sleeping bag. I have super warm feet all night long, which is a must when winter camping!

These little "sleeping bags for your feet" are super comfy and super warm. The pull strings at the top help keep them on your feet if you're being super active or wearing them to bed (so they don't come off during the night). The bottoms are made of a durable cloth, but are still cloths and thus prone to wetness (don't step on spills!) I haven't washed them yet, but they seem like they'd be fine in the washer and dryer.

These slippers are the best slippers I have ever had and they keep my feet toasty warm! It is like having a sleeping bag on your feet all the time. They were a little small at first, but once I wore them a few times they stretched out a little and are perfect now. This is a great vegan alternative to the slippers that are filled with down feathers. Thank you Zappos for your great service and for having vegan options!!!

I love these slippers. I followed everyone’s advice and ordered up a size - I was glad I did. I live in the Midwest and our wood floors are quite cold in the winter; these slippers are great with bare feet in the warmer winter temps (10-30 degrees F), and they also work well with socks in the subzero temps. I highly recommend these!

The booty is very warm and comfortable. The elasticized, front tie can be tightened and locked for a tighter fit. I take them on vacation with me. The item met my expectations. I wouldn\'t hesitate to buy them for gifts.
