Super warm and dry. The lightest boot I have ever had. May look big but super light.

The boots are snug. They are well built. They are good for extreme conditions standing around. Theses are heavy and a bit clunky, so things like a ice fishing type boot they are good. Well insulated from bottom > these are big tough boots.

I ordered these boots for my nine year old son who wears a size 6½. They would be great if he were going on a polar expedition but they are a little too much for playing in the snow and going to school. He is tall for his age, but they come up nearly to his knees and they are incredibly thick and heavy. If we had a pack of sled dogs to ride across the arctic, we might keep them, but alas, they are going back.

Tried the Sorel Bear and nice boot but too narrow to get my foot in. Once it was in the boot was ok - I ordered a size larger...but I couldn't see opening 1/2 hour getting my boots on. And the way I had to pull up the liner it wouldn't have been long before I would have just ripped it. Soy Zappos stepped up, compromised their price as the Impact was a full more expensive, and we went with a new design. The Baffin Impact in size 8 again and too small, could not have worn socks with it. Sent that one back on Zappos extraordinary return policy, and the size 9 arrived this morning. While they are a bit tight, I can see they will be a great boot. I will be able to wear socks with these and easy on, easy off.

Baffin boots run small. I have wide feet and bunions so I have difficulty finding a good fit. I ordered the women's Icefield two sizes larger than my regular size 6-6.5 and had to return both because they pinched my toes. So I tried the men's Impact size 7 and it was still too tight. The liner for this boot is a lot thicker than the other two styles I tried. Ultimately, I purchased a size 7 men's Icebreaker and I am very happy with the fit and features of this boot. It is taller, has a removable liner, extendable snow baffle and drawcord laces with metal D-rings. Feels like walking in spongy tennis shoes! I have yet to wear them on my winter trip to Wyoming but I feel confident my feet will be warm and comfy.

Too small. Returned. Would have exchanged for the next size up but a larger size was not available. Like the clips for easy removal.

It was hard for my husband to get the boot on. He is in his 70's and the boot itself is heavy

Huge back order!! Three weeks and counting. Not updates coming from Zappos. Disappointing…

Since buying these boots (2010) they were worn a few times and show little or no wear. They were kept in a closet of an airconditioned house, not exposed to sunlight except briefly when worn. I would give these boots ten (10) stars in the keeping my feet warm department. The boots have not been needed in the last six years. However, they were needed recently and lived up to their ability to keep my feet warm. After a couple of hours the left boot began to feel floppy, Discovered that the rubber? material had cracked and was pulling away from the upperpart along and below the stitching.
