The sizing on Dickies have gotten smaller. I have some pants that run super tight and some fit well, yet they are the same exact size. It's frustrating because the return procedure is poor as you have to pay for the return shipping yourself. Sizing is everything, especially to big people. I need it to fit right.

The problem is that Dickies uses suppliers all over the world and there isn't consistency in sizing across suppliers. In my most recent order, I ordered three pairs of pants in 30x30. The pants made in Honduras fit fine, the pants made in Kenya were more like 28x32, so I had to return them. This is not the first time I've experienced this and it's very frustrating.

The consistency in sizes seems to vary. This order (36) feels the same as my old 32's

Ordered regular size that i wear for everything else and the pants were way small. They were also really stiff. They probably wouldn't be very comfortable to work in.

I've been floating between a 30 waist and a 31; but 30 is so incredibly tight and 31 I need a belt. Something tells me there's a lot of inconsistency in the creation process. Also, these pants have a high rise but the seat box is far too snug to be considered appropriate pants for work; let alone casual wear.

I ordered 2 pair with an inseam of 30. They are closer to 32 inseam. They need to do quality inspection test to make sure they are sending out the correct sizes.

I ordered multiple pants in the same size, but the sizing is inconsistent. One pair I can't even wear, they're too tight in the waist. I typically like Dickies products, but I think the quality control needs improvement.

The fit of these pants is very awkward. I have been 34 x 34 for 20 years. I understand that cuts are different from manufacturer to manufacturer but these pants are extreme. The waist is way smaller than all my other 34" waists. The inseam is much longer than all of my other 34" inseams and the pant legs are so wide it looks like I'm wearing bell bottoms. I have other Dickies pants that are 34 x 34 and they have all fit well. These don't fit well at all. I will be returning them.

Was a size smaller than advertised. Buy a size larger. The legs were baggy with a small waste. No flexibility at all

the sizes are at least 2 sizes off. if you want a size 36 you need to order a size 40

Run very small I wear 31x 30 in Levi's but got 34x30 the first time. They were too small. Then I had to order another pair and went up to 36x30

Too slim. Wear a 34/36 and I have returned this stule twice. Now getting a 40 waist.

These fit extremely small I've had plenty of pairs of these and got some bigger ones this time and they're smaller than my old ones.

I wish I could gives these a better review, but I've had problems with inconsistency between pairs. This pair balloons out at the thighs unlike other pairs I've had. I thought a wash and dry might fix that given how stiff they come but all it did was make it so that I can't return them. They kind of look ridiculous and I'll probably donate them. It's kind of a shame.

The material is great, but the silver clip is junk. The clip broke off my pants after only wearing them 6 times. I had to have a button sewn on and a button hole sewn into the pants.

I bought 3 pairs of Classic 874s in 3 different colours but the same size. Love the colours available, they make it more appealing to have more than just blue, black and grey. Unfortunately they all fit differently. The ranges of 34 waist is pretty alarming. One of them fit perfectly and with some wiggle room, one requires a belt and the other one has an extremely tight waist fit. I understand that no 2 will be the same but this is a bit much. Try them on before buying them. I would not recommend the online store for purchases.

First off I ordered the pants two sizes up because of reviews saying they run small and they were still to tight. Second they had a smell to them .not pleasant. Not satisfied

I bought pants in what I thought was my normal size but the waist was so tight I couldn't even button them. I recommend trying any pants on prior to removing the tags like I did. I wasted my money essentially.

I brought a pair of original 874 work pants in the size I normally wear. They were so tight I couldn't even get the snap hook to attach. Refund and returns are easy though, put back in shipping bag, print return label and drop in mailbox

All my pants are 32 waist. I tried a 32 waist of these pants on at a store and couldn't even do them up. Ordered 34 waist online thinking that would be enough (34 or larger wasn't in stock at the store). I can do up the 34s but they're super tight, and I suspect they will not fit after a wash. Do I really have to return these to buy 36?! FOUR inches bigger than the rest of all my other pants?? They seem to be built well, but can't comment on much else.

The first day my husband wore his pants to work the metal clasp on the waistband fell off. Luckily he had a belt on but still had to wear a jacket to hide the open waistband all day.

I purchased these pants for my husband in hopes that they'd last longer. However, they were a VERY uncomfortable material. He described them as "sand paper."

I purchased these 874 for the first time because the other pants I've had great luck with were discontinued. The flex with the multi-use pocket. Not sure why, but these 874 "signature belt loops" barely fit Dickies own belt, that I used for years with the flex pants.
