I was disappointed because I bought two pair, both the same size. One pair fits perfectly, the second pair I can't even get close buttoning. Very inconsistent...

Some of the stitching is coming undone straight out of the packaging and the colors aren't exactly what I expected.

Pants look great, sizing was way too small. Usually a 32 waist so I got a 33, could barely button it up and no room in the thighs. Ordering a 36 to see if that will work better.

Didn't fit at waist. Understand the fit is supposed to be at "natural (higher) waist" but every other pant I have is that size and fits fine. Recommendation is to order a size larger but doesn't say waist or length (as they sit higher on "natural waist") - besides - who wants to go up a size! Otherwise the material and construction was fine. I returned them. I may re order but can't bear to step up that size!

The quality control was lacking to say the least on these pants. I had removed the tags, washed them and the first time my husband wore a pair he noticed that a belt loop was in the wrong place. I had to remove the belt loop and sew it on where it belonged. Who knew that you had to check belt loop position before washing and wearing :(

Arrived with stitching issues at bottom pant leg hem - basically hem is coming undone. I'll take care of it but disappointed. Color is awesome. Fit is as usual. Order up with the waist.

I'm 49 years old. Ever since I was I was in elementary school, my parents bought the 874 original pants. I always get them, even over the flex

I got a 32 waist are they are definitely pretty snug. They do no fit like a 32 waist, closer to a 30 than a 31. I like everything else about them though.

The fit is fine, but i wish they were available in the cooling fabric that the shorts are offered in.

Love 874s & have been buying them forever, but trust the reviews about inconsistent sizing. Usually, in Dickies work pants & shorts you need to go 1 size up. I ordered the silver colour 874s this time instead of the usual size 38x32, I was disappoInted when the order arrived because they fit like a size 34x30, they were floods that couldn't close at the waist. How could that be? I haven't gained weight (I checked). Ended up buying a second pair 2 sizes larger than my usual 36 in other brands, size 38 in Dickies now needed to size up to a 40x32. They fit like their usual 38x32 should've. Satisfied with finally getting the pants I needed but tired of the inconsistency & the brand not fixing it. The first pair needs to be returned but their instructions aren't clear enough. When the Canadian site finally got the wider range of colours back in stock (website only) it's as if we got the duds that didn't work in the U.S. The measuring with this brand really needs to be helped. Hope this helps someone out there.

Why are the 46 X 30 always out of stock in the nice colors, I always have get my 44's tailored to fit properly other than that the classics are perfect.

Very similar cut and style from years back, the quality of material and stitching lacks on all the new items I recently purchased

Great pants. The only issue I have, is that, from the waist to the crotch is too long.. but other than that love Dickies work pants.

Definitely need to size up as the site reccomends, as it sits higher than most pants/jeans nowadays. (I wear a 30 and should have gone up to a 31.)
Found the pant legs didn't taper like the description stated. Solid straight leg though but it was too much material for my liking.
Awesome color and true to the image. Well made too! Just wasn't my style after all.

These new 874s are not as good as the previous 874s. The belt loops are so tight that the belt has to be forced through. The length of 32 is two inches longer than my older 874s. The fabric of the tan 874s is so thin that light shines through. The fabric is not as wrinkle proof as the older 874s. They come out of the dryer so wrinkled that they need to be ironed. Quality control has slipped a lot!

I felt like there to wide at the legs and doesn't feel like 874 original a little to baggy at the legs

I definitely prefer the 874 FLEX to the 874 ORIGINAL, however I've already worn both pairs I purchased and they just don't have as much give. The high waist isn't as comfortable for women compared to the flex.

The pants are made very well and true to size but the fabric is very stiff like canvas and does not soften when washed and dried. Therefore, they are not comfortable to wear.

I have the same kind just in navy and they are baggy or loose if you will on the legs. They are also made in mexico and are more comfortable. The black ones i just bought from you are made in haiti and are tight on the legs and not as comfortable. I wish i bought more of the navy ones i first bought.
