I ordered the same size as the 874 flex work pants (which fit perfectly), but these were much smaller in the waist. I returned them. The return process was satisfactory.

The pants are good quality but they are sooo stiff all my boys complained about wearing them for my daughters wedding. If they were softer they would have been more comfortable.

I'm a skinny guy. When I can get pants with a 28 inch waist, I do. In most cases they are too snug everywhere else, like the pockets or the thighs and quickly wear out, or they aren't well made and fall apart in short order These fit well all around. I probably won't buy more though. The pockets are shallow, and the coins tend to end up on the couch cushions, driver's seat or simply fall out when I remove my hands. The belt loops are also rather narrow, and it takes long to thread my belt through the loops. Described as Work Pants, I was expecting something akin to painters pants, carpenters jeans or cargo pants. These have none of those features. They fit well, but the zipper doesn't lower far enough. For the use I'm looking for, these don't serve the purpose.

Love the pants and material but the black fades way to fast for me.

The sizing is alright just very very tight around the crotch area which causes the pants to be mildly uncomfortable. The length and width are very nice though

Great overall I hate the pockets though. It is hard to get everything I need in them. They fit perfectly. Would give 5 star if more pocket room.

1 pair fit great the other pair is so tight I will not wear them. I'm like at 50 /50 for a review.

I KNOW it tends to run "small" on the waist but it exceeds my expectation! I usually wear a 36" but for Original 874 I decided to go up to 38 just in case I have more beers. Was I wrong or what? I think the Original 874 really kisses up to nobody, it's honest runs true to size with no care to your feelings. If your gut measures 40 inches, you need to buy 40 inches, there is no if or but. The reality is painful but it Is what it is.

no consistency with sizes. great product but i throw away more than i keep do you size inconsistencies. Also, fabric is always different

The pants I ordered were fine but the length is longer than the 30in Seem that they are not sized the same.

Each pair is extremely inconsistent with sizing. Sometimes have to go up one size, and for the same pant but different color will be two sizes. It doesn't make sense and can be a bit frustrating when one fits and the other one doesn't. I took off the tags to wear my black pair and boom, they don't fit and now I can't return them since I removed the tag. Obviously that's my fault for not trying on but its the same size as a brown pair and it fits drastically different.

The pants are ok but the slide in button comes unbuttoned sometimes when you tighten your belt

Traditionally I have always enjoyed these pants. The quality seems a little off. The left leg is 1/4 inch longer than the right, and there is a big wad of thread adjacent to the zipper that seems to serve no purpose. Still wearable, just not the quality I was expecting

Great pants but sizing is way off. I have purchased other dickies pants and these seem to run small, so beware of that. Other than that, no complaints.

Pocket button will not button when billfold in pocket

Too small. I got them two sizes up (I got a 30 and I'm a 28 women's) because everyone kept saying to size up as they ran small. SIZE UP. They were NOT joking. I got it to my hips I think or I was able to get them up fully but they were very tight on my thighs, butt, and hips. Overall they looked like would've been cute pants, if they fit.

Different colors fit different and they are made in different countries.

The quality is good but the sizing is all over the place. I've been wearing a size 32 waist in these pants for years, and it feels like every other pair of pants I order from the website fits like a size 30. It's especially disappointing as I don't want to be creating extra shipping and packaging for constant exchanges. I talked to some friends who have been experiencing the same issue for a while now. It's to the point where if I order two different colors of the same pants, one will fit wile the other is too small.

I purchased 3 pairs of 32x30 pants because my 31x30 pairs were getting too tight. The 32's fit exactly the same as the 31's. One of the 32's actually fit smaller than the 31's and I couldn't even button it. I've worn Dickies for years and I've only had this problem in the last couple of years. I returned both orders. I recommend buying in a physical store if you can so you can try each pair on. I'm still pulling for dickies to make the rise longer too, these ride up in the crotch- it's been an issue with Dickies since the beginning.

Hip pockets have been changed so that it's difficult to button pocket when man's wallet is placed in the left hip pocket. I miss the side pocket. It's nice to place a bottle of water in when walking around instead of holding it in hands.

Of course your pants are durable and high quality but your sizes don't make sense. I've lost a bunch of weight so I had to go down in size but the new pants I got were even more baggy than the bigger pants I had had for a while. Somebody have a bad day with measuring?

The pants fit well. They are strong. Not very expensive so there is good value. The reason I am not rating them higher is the pockets are made from a strange stiff scratchy material that is irritating against the skin and actually noisy, making a crinkling sound when you put your hands in them. They did not noticeably soften after the first washing. I've been happy with Dickies pants so I'm hoping the pockets will soften over time.

Very well made but the size is off. 36 is 32. 38 is a 40. I measured, so I'm right, sadly. I guess I will keep trying, hoping to get some that will fit. Because best pants ever

Cute color. Inconsistent sizing. Tight in the groin area and have to size up twice now. Returned one pair, giving away the other. Will try again.

I ordered five pairs of Original 874 and three of them fit perfect but two did not, they were too big and wide on the leg part but the hip was fine. One of them was the Military Green and the other was the Navy Blue.
