I have worn these pants for 15+ years. Great fit, tons of colors, stain resistant, simple design, rugged (they last for a long time), classic lines and inexpensive. They go great with everything. I wear them to work and on the weekends. I wish they made a 874 with a 5th pocket, I own the shorts and use the 5th pocket more than expected.

Bought pants for my son and myself, very pleased with the price, delivery and quality, will certainly buy again.

I work in public office at the state level - a government position where we are expected to maintain a professional appearance at all times. These pants are perfect - definitely NOT jeans - but they maintain the same comfort level on the job. Now... these pants can become hot if you become involved in strenuous activity... but they do not show it. I just purchased 5 more pairs in assorted colors. And if I can lose another inch off my waist, I'll be back for another half-dozen pairs.

Very good work clothing for construction. The only drawback is that you must by at least 4 sizes bugger if you want to fit in them. I wear a size 38 but muse buy a size 42.

these are some very sturdy pants, great for landscaping and other work that would normally stain and tear up any lesser pants. Fits as advertised after first wash.

Back in 1978, I purchased my first pair of Dickies 874 work pants. The pants always had a neat crease the color retained for a many many washings and they do not hold lose their elasticity. I continued to purchase more of these pants for on the job and casual wear. On the job, the matching work shirt is professional and holds up well with the job. Off the job it can range from a tee shirt to an Oxford dress shirt. I still receive compliments from a lot of people telling me how great my appearance is. I look for a pair of pants that is traditional in style and colors. A pant that is durable. A pant makes a guy professional looking as well as neat. Over the years, I bought several brands of work pants- Dickies 874 work pants deserve the A plus. That is why I still wear them to this day.

Good for Office Use - A more classic trim fit than the Ben Davis "Trim" fit. The Ben Davis Trim fit style resembles more of a trouser fit while the 874 is your go-to office work pants. Great with boots, decently priced and better constructed than the Gap name brand alternatives.

I'm a 5 11'' 180lb. I have a typical "dad bod" type (small beer belly) silhouette. I wear size 32-33 x 30 in most brand (Levi's 33''x30, LEEjeans 33''x30, Rouge territory 32'x30). The sizing from DICKIES 874 runs SMALL. I ordered 34x30. the waist measure 17'' ish diameter it's closer to a 32' in most brands. The inseam is spot on at 30". I ordered 5 pairs and measurement are in consistent between pants about 1/2' variances from different locations of manufacture. They are even smaller than the 33x30 Dickies' 803 "skinny fit" i wear. Also the material on the newly purchased feel thinner than older made Dickies.

Awesome. Literally the perfect pant for every occasion. Timeless cut and flattering fit. Would like to see like to see some funky colors for summer. Easter egg yellow, Kelley Green, Mediterranean Blue. A 65/35 cotton/poly blend would be outstanding for warm weather wear.

Runs smaller in size than in past .. there also is more shrinkage .. Had hoped that Dickies would bring back Lincoln Green .Found one pair in my size B&T ,that were manufactured 15yrs ago. Have had change colour to Tan , now they are also are scarce too.. I have worked all over the world Arctic to tropics and found that LG broke in nicer though faded and sweat stained abit more ,but did not stick to you when sweating .I've found no other colour that does this .. Fit was great , but seems recent purchases shrunk more .. losing the quality edge , time to revisit old quality and value ....and was
