I wanted to try a sturdier type of dressy-casual work pant. These work well, are warmer in these cold months. Only draw back is that the front pockets are not terribly roomy. A wad of keys and a smart phone don't fit well together in the same pocket. But if you trust the back pocket as a phone pocket, it works out just fine.

Like most dickies these things can take a beating. Only time I need to replace them is when they are outgrown. They're heavy dutie yet comfortable.

We have ordered several Dickie's Original Work Pants over the years & they are great. Legs are a slimmer cut & work well for my husband. Great quality & great colors.

These pants are simply the best pants that you can buy. You would have to spend a lot more money to find something comparable. I wear these out in the garage, and to work where I work in an office setting. They handle anything you can throw at them and last an incredible amount of time. I have a pair that have lasted me five years and still going strong. The best part is they are no iron and always look freshly pressed. One of the great aspects of these pants is the brass fly and the durable loops on the pants.

Bought 4 pairs of pants for my son that's 6'9" and they fit perfect. I buy him pants every year for Christmas and he wears them all year long. He loves these pants and they look very nice on him. Thanks Dickies

I purchased these 874 Dickies for my grandson because we could not find the color, maroon, in any of the stores. They look/fit great. Nice Christmas addition to his gifts.

I originally bought 2 pair of 874's, and 1 pair of WP873BK, but didn't know the waist runs smaller in the 874 and bigger in the 873. I returned them for an exchange. As far as the quality is concerned, they seem to be very well made. I recently bought a pair of the WP873KH Slim Straight from a different vendor in my normal sixe 38x32 and they fit ok, since I'm between sizes. These pass easily as casual slacks to wear with a sport coat or dress wear, as I wore them for the 1st time to church.

The Original 874 pants hold up better than any other pants I have worn working in a physically demanding position. They are also flexible and easy to move in. Many other brands have worn through and suffered other damage, while the Dickie 874 pants continue to provide comfortable wear for months.

I bought these for work purposes as this is all I wear to work. Although my company supplies us with work pants, these are the best and most comfortable and actually fit the way they are supposed!!

50 years old and about 5'2" and 235 lbs. Tired of having to pull jeans up because of poor waist fit! Also tired of wide bottom pants of all flavors! Bought a pair of these for the first time in 25 years. Back then they weren't cool for everyday use; now I don't care. They fit great and feel comfortable too. Whew! Although my waist on these is 4 inches bigger than any other pant I have. Hey as long as I know they fit who cares?
