I have had Blundstones now for over 10 years and live in them. I currently have 3 pairs but have had 500 and 550s over the years. Recently, I purchased the 519 brown/ODs and fit was cramping, painful and seemed different than all other fits. I order the superseries 1402 same color with glove liner and SPS soles...out of the box fit like my others...like most sizes maybe my 519s were just cut small from factory. I would go with the 550s for easy on/off and glove lining. My original 500 (now vintage) are 10 years old and re-soled. I love these boots. My old pair of brown 500 soles did crumble but I got my wear out of them. I will have these on in Fire Lake one day too...when I turn 100...hooah.

I can't begin to say how much I love this boot and for that matter all of the Blundstone boots! The only reason I'm buying another pair is my boyfriend made me. Yes, my BL550's are 15 years old but I still love them they are just starting to look a little...worn. If you are thinking about buying this boot, just do it! I love mine and they are worth it!

Very well made, light weight and comfortable, but you must pay attention to the sizing chart, I always need a 9D ordered these in a 8 perfect fit. Needs no break in time. Love em.

HIGHLY recommended. Easy on-off (for airport travel), not too heavy, clean look, but truly watertight (stomp through puddles, snow, etc). I went with US 12 equivalent, and initially worried I got them too big. Boots come with optional inserts to tighten fit up - perfect for me. DON'T order too small (true for all non-western boots, I read). Anyway, this style may be my new default winter boot. Blundstone, don't discontinue these or I will cry.

I am a teacher with very bad feet and the need to stand at least eight hours each day. I love these boots. I just wore them on a vacation to Paris where I walked at least 8-10 miles each day. I normally only attempt that in my New Balance running shoes, but wore these most days and had happy feet! I highly recommend them. I did replace the insoles they came with with insoles from a pair of running shoes prior to the trip.

I really love these boots and wear them everyday except in the summer. I have flat, kind of wide feet and a narrow heel with small bunions. I do not get the support I need without inserting my Superfeet arch supports; with them, there is great support and my heel hardly slips at all. The leather also stretches and seems to conform to your foot. I usually get the 500, but this time got the 550 (lined with soft leather) and prefer them. They look great with jeans and last, usually, for a few years. Eventually the sole begins to break down, but I feel like I get my money's worth.

Solid comfort with added pleasure once they break in. Good every day for my job, but a little sad the soles wear moderately quicker when used as dailies. I had to get my last pair for around town. Looks great with most any type pants. Dress up or down. Some break in time should be expected for entry. Enjoy!

These are some dreamy boots. I wear them everywhere and always since I got them. They are pricey, and so I hope they prove durable over at least a year or two. I ordered my usual size, and they fit perfect.

This is my second pair of Blunnies. They are my go to boot for slogging the world. I love them, they are comfy, durable and so sturdy.

Just received these Blundstone 550's at my door yesterday. First, thanks to Zappos for super fast, free next day shipping. This is my first pair of Blundstones and so far, I have nothing but love for them. The fit was perfect - I wear 8.0-8.5 US and the AU 7 were just right on my feet. The boots came with two pairs of insoles to customize the fit individually. Quality overall appears to be outstanding - the leather is soft and pliable, but durable, the outsoles are shock absorbing and comfortable. They are easy to put on with the dual pull tabs. I am very impressed with the boots. Am considering another pair to keep at work. Make sure that you go a size down when going from US sizes and don't forget: the AU half-sizes are just wider than the full size - they are not longer. I almost made this mistake.

These boots are great. I'm on to my second pair of this brand. I use them around horses. I like that they don't get dirt in them because they are tapered at the top. They're easy on/off and comfortable. I put insoles in for support and to take up room, as they are wide being a pull-on type shoe. They're durable as well.

I've been looking for a pair of boots like these for years - functional, supportive, comfortable on my aching feet. I wear them almost every day, as they are very easy to put on and off while still offering the full protection of a sturdy boot. They are very well made, and look new after two months. No loose threads, very scuff resistant, very durable and flexible. They are also surprisingly lightweight. My only cons are that they took about two hours to break in (!) and after walking in them for 12 hours one day my feet were somewhat sore. An added bonus is that they are very warm, which I attribute to the very nice leather lining. We're in the midst of a truly brutal winter, the coldest in at least a hundred years. These boots have given a lot of traction on slippery surfaces, and keep me warm without heavy socks. An unexpected plus is that they came with an extra set of insoles for people wanting or needing extra cushioning. These are placed under the standard insole. Although they looked very thin, they did add cushioning, but they also seemed to crowd my foot in the instep, so I took them out again. All in all, these little boots are great! Worth every cent.

This is my second pair of Blundstone's. They fit great and are very comfortable. They last a very long time and are a good investment for keeping my feet warm in the winter.

Love this shoe! Comfortable from the start. I ordered my size and a half size larger. Both felt good but I stuck with my actual size. No break in time was necessary for me.

Great boots. It took a couple of days to get used to wearing the chelsea style boots, but after that, they are super comfortable. The only complaint I have with them is that my feet tend to sweat really bad. I've found to fix this, I removed one of the two provided inserts, to allow more room for my feet to breathe. So far, so good. Also, this color brown is VERY dark.

This is an excellent product overall. The boots are very well made and provide terrific support. They broke in quickly, even though the lined leather upper is quite thick,the boots are surprisingly lightweight. Heed the difference in Aussie size compared to US.I'm usually a size 9 US, went for the 8 Aus and it's a perfect fit. My first experience with Blundstone and I'm delighted. Will likely get another pair.

These boots are very good for someone like me who needs to be in and out of places where no shoes are allowed. They are the easiest boots to slip on and off and of course feel great on my feet the rest of the time. Very good looking especially with jeans or khakis.

I had an older pair of 500s and the soles were crumbling. I contacted Blundstone in Tasmania and they were very responsive and ended up sending me a pair of new 550s as a replacement. Customer service was great and they stood by their product. My daughters, age 6 and 9, have been wearing the kids boots for years. They take a beating and look great after a quick polish. One pair has been worn constantly for about 4 years now...there is no other kid shoe I have seen that will last that long! I like the 550s much better than the 500s. Very comfortable with the leather lining. Apparently the Blundstone boot is not made in Tasmania, but if you have ever run a business there are compromises that need to be made to offer a quality product at a good price. They are a very high quality boot.

This is my second pair of blumstone boots. The first pair lasted me 10 years of constant wearing. They are by far the best slip on boot on the market. They are durable, comfortable, stylish, and top quality. Will be a long time wearer of this brand.

I bought these for my husband and he loves them. He needed a shoe for work (in business side of construction) where he could look good in office setting yet still be able to feel comfortable and safe wearing them on a jobsite. These shoes are great for that...not too casual not to fancy. He says they are very comfortable and fit true. A quick note: when you first get them, they look a bit like galoshes when you put them on under pants due to their shape. He was a little put off by this but don't worry, after a bit of wear and tear, they actually get more attractive and the galoshes-ness goes away.

Im not sure how this style was supposed to fit. But, they were too big everywhere. I bought a pair of Blundstone boots 8 years ago. I now need a half size bigger. I purchased this style a half size bigger. They fit like I had ordered a mans shoe.

Fit true to size in comparison to all my other blunnies... But the color is just a bit meh.

Material felt great, solid and well made. width was a little narrow and I would recommend order 1/2 size larger if you have wider feet. Arch support cold b better.

It took 3 tries to get a decent fit. These run small.
