I bought these for my husband who loves zumba. He is usually 7.5-8 wide, so I bought size 10. he says that the shoes are excellent. The sole is a bit narrow for support for men, but he adjusted. Very difficult to find dancing sneakers that made for men. Thanks, Zappos.

This is my 3rd pair of Bloch dance shoes. These shoes are lighter than my previous 2 pairs. They are fabulous and easy to dance in. I always order 1 size larger than my shoe size. I use them for Zumba and hip hop dance. Great shoes!

I ordered these for Zumba and love them! Wasn't sure how I would like the split sole, but turns out I'm on my toes most of the time anyway, so they are very comfortable.

I absolutely love these shoes! I wear them for jazz and Zumba classes, but I also wear them around the house because they are so comfortable and lightweight. They're flexible, but I wear orthotics normally and can use them in these as well if I think I'll need extra support.

I have a narrow foot and a high arch so it is very hard to find dance shoes that fit. These do! And in some miraculous way they provide arch support. Much better than Capezios for me. Runs small.A 10 fit my size 9 foot. Works well for Zumba.

I love this shoe for Zumba! Super light and comfortable for dancing. I normally wear a 9 in New Balance running shoes. I thought I could get by with a 9.5 in this shoe but ended up returning for a 10. 10 fits perfectly and am super pleased! Totally worth the purchase!

I bought these for line dancing after trying several different brands. These are comfortable, light weight and flexible. They pivot easily on the floor but are not too slippery. Other brands I have tried are heavy and clunky. These shoes run a bit small - I wear a size 7 and ordered these in an 8. They fit perfectly.

Way too small. I have a 5.5 size and ordered a 6 and it was more like a 4.5. Also very narrow.

I needed a real dance shoe for Zumba for a lot of rotation. I also teach. Yet it's also aerobic requiring the ability to plant. After trying many shoes, unsuccessfully, I'd fall back on my Capezio Jazz sneakers, which are great for rotation but slippery. These shoes are great! I have to get used to rotating on the ball, but my heels now grab, and I can get full use of the core work. I'm a narrow/2A 10, and heard Bloch was wide. Yet, the heels are narrow enough to fit, and the front comfortable. I wear the 10.5 in this shoe, and it's perfect with a moderate sock.

I have tried several different brands for my Zumba workout including the Zumba brand. The Bloch Evolution dance sneaker is the most comfortable with great arch support, very light, flexible and perfect for turns and jumps. It has a slippery area on the sole of each shoe which is very helpful for quick turns. I got used to the slippery area during the first workout that I used them. I wear a medium 7 1/2 dress shoe and up to 8 in sneakers. I needed a size 9 and it fits perfectly. I ended up ordering sizes 8 1/2, 9 and 9 1/2 and returned the ones that didn't fit. Absolutely love them.

Every aspect of Zappos service is great. I was not sure of my size so I ordered two sizes of the same style shoe . They arrived promptly, I selected the best fit and returned the other pair at no charge (as promised).

The perfect shoes for any type of dance aerobics. As a former dancer I am very picky about footwear. These dance sneakers have it all, excellent arch support, superior lacing construction and support, and a sweet spot on the bottom so you can turn without injuring your knees. I bought a second pair to use as walking shoes. After trying numerous pairs of athletic shoes for aerobic classes and walking, these are by far the best. Order a size larger than your dress shoes.

I have never owned a pair of dance shoes before. I started doing Zumba about 2 1/2 years ago and saw other people wearing dance shoes. I wore my new shoes for the first time last week and Wow...what a difference it made in moving across the floor. Love them absolutely.

Really great split sole but the profile of the shoe was so low that I felt it wasn't giving me enough support. Runs a FULL size small. I always wear a 7 but had to get an 8 after the 7.5 didn't fit.

I ordered 4 different pair of dance sneakers and found these to be the best fit for me. I normally wear a size 7, but took Zappos' advice and ordered an 8, which fit great. They are lightweight, flexible and very comfortable. Just perfect for my Zumba classes.

Helps my knee pain! It made a big difference, I move better and glide easily. Keep in mind that the limited resistance that helps the dancing part is also a potential risk for falling, but once you get used to it (one or two sessions) you'll be fine!

I usually wear a 7 1/2 and based on the reviews that this shoe runs small I ordered a size 8. When they arrived they seemed to fit "OK" but since there was a little room in the toe I decided to hold off using them and try the 7 1/2. In a regular athletic shoe a little room at the toe is OK so I wasn't sure. I am very glad I waited for the 7 1/2. For me this shoe runs true to size but I think it depends on how you are planning on using it. I used it in a Zumba class and it is perfect. It may feel snug as you are putting your foot in through the arch area, but once I got it on it was great. I used a very thin sock. I have noticed that dancers get their slippers to fit snug. I had much better control and the arch support hit in just the right spot when I used the 7 1/2. Extra room in the toe I think gives less control if you are doing dancing moves. If you are using the shoe more as a cross training/cardio shoe then a larger size with thicker sock would make sense. Anyway, the shoe performed very well in Zumba with just the right amount of slide for turns and the shoe is very flexible and permits you to achieve a full and comfortable arch when pivoting. I feel I can do everything in these shoes as though I were wearing ballet slippers, yet with more support for jumping.

Bloch Evolution is a great dance shoe, with moderate arch support and a fairly low profile. Have worn them for an entire 12 hour dance workshop with no adverse issues. These shoes run true to size in a dance shoe, not street shoe. I wear a 7.5 street shoe and always order a size 9 dance shoe. The conversion is absolutely consistent.

Fantastic! Bought these to replace the clunky, heavy cross trainers I was wearing for Zumba. They are perfect - make a huge difference in my ability to do the moves properly and efficiently. Makes class so much more fun. I am a size 7 and the 7.5's are comfortable & perfect.

Hallelujah! Finally found a pair of dance shoes that help my knees and my high arches. I have damaged my legs from years of martial arts and sports and now dance is my only form of exercise. I dance 5 days a week; samba, zumba, hip hop, Brazilian funk, etc. And I'm not talking about being a wallflower in the back of the class; I'm dancing my arse off at the head of the class with the 20-year-olds (I'm 40)! Tested these shoes out last night with an intense samba class (by far my weakest class) and they helped me immensely. The split sole does take a bit to get used to (I had been doing all this in cross trainers) but that sweet spin spot at the top of the foot definitely helps. And they weren't kidding about arch support; I almost cried after class when my feet and knees weren't in pain. Definitely runs small. I'm a 7 1/2 and ordered an 8; and while my foot does reach the end of the shoe, it's made kind of like a ballet shoe so it never bugged me in class. In fact, I think over time, this shoe will stretch. Overall, best shoe by of the year for me and of course, Zappos is amaze-balls in terms of shipping and customer service. This is one happy dancer.

These shoes fit great. I ordered a half size larger as recommended (I wear size 6 1/2 and ordered size 7). I am able to tighten the laces so that my arches feel supported even without my orthotic inserts. I have been wearing them in my Tai Chi class so I can turn and balance without the bulk and grip of a fitness sneaker. They are light and look good too.

Love these shoes! They wrap around my feet beautifully. Made out of breathable canvas and split heels for greater mobility, turning, point and flex motions. Very light. When you order, go half a size up. I followed everybody else's advice and ordered 1 and 1.5 sizes up; they were too big.

My purpose for this shoe was for a hip-hop dance class. I needed a supportive sneaker with just enough slip on the ball of the foot to allow pivot and protect my aging knees. I wear a 6½-7 WW street shoe. I found this shoe very comfortable, with just the right pivot, wide enough without being too long. I wore this for one class and really liked it, but alas, the next day I had a lot of pain in the arch of my foot. The split sole construction does not work with an orthotic or other firm insole, so with regret I had to clean up the sole and return it.

Shoes look great and feel comfortable, but run very short in the toe. Ordered a full size larger than usual and still need to return and size up.

I bought this shoe for zumba, because my knees were starting to ache. I do zumba at home and at a gym, so I needed shoes that would work on carpet and hardwood. This shoe is perfect for both! Not only does it glide on hardwood, it also allows me to spin without twerking (not the Miley kind) my knees on carpet. The suspended arch takes a little getting used to, and the shoe is very narrow. I ordered a half size up (because a full size was not available), and they fit great. I have room in my toes and the heel is snug and secure. This helped the pain in my knees, and alleviated the aches in the balls of my feet. Definitely worth the cost.
