We are not ill, in a nursing home, or do we have special foot problems, but, wow, what slippers! Both of us (husband and wife) bought Men's sizes and are both happy with these comfy, durable, easy wear, easy care slipper shoes! I wear them in and out everywhere (who cares about stylish when you are so unaware that you're even wearing shoes?) for foot comfort all Winter long, and hubby wears anytime he is home. Highly recommended! (We both take wide, so glad Zappos had wide!)

These slippers are great. Have been looking for something with support for my husband who has "drop foot" as a result of a stroke. These slippers give him enough support to walk around the house without his brace on. They look great and he says they are very comfortable. Will be buying him another pair.

I love them! Got a pair last year for my husband, wanted a slipper that didn't make your feet sweat, these are perfect! I got this pair for my dad who is in a nursing home. Makes it easier for the aids to put them on yet they have a firm sole for walking and nice fit with the velcro. You can't go wrong with them!

The Perfect Bedroom Shoe for Swollen Feet - I recently purchased these slippers for my father-in-law who is having some health problems and severely swollen feet. These slippers were definitely the answer. The velcro closure is generous enough that even with significant swelling, it fits perfectly. When the swelling subsides again the overlap makes the fit functional and appropriate. The construction demonstrates obvious quality and though they may not be the most stylish...they make up for it in fit and convenience. They are easy to place on someone else's foot, which is also a significant consideration for those providing care. Don't think you will be disappointed with this slipper. They fit the bill and the foot. If there were any downside to the slipper, my father-in-law commented that they were heavy. They don't feel heavy in the hand to me but I have never had them on my feet. He did however comment that they were comfortable on his feet.

Everything I was looking for in a pair of slippers! Warm, functional, washable, love the sturdy sole. I think that they are cut about one size larger than other brand shoes, so you might need a size down.

I've been looking for slippers that fit and are comfortable. These are them. The stay on don't' scuff and are quiet. Don't look any further these are what you're looking for!

Though I am female, I normally wear a man's 11 1/2 2E. I bought the 12 and it's a little big, but I wanted to be sure thick socks fit in it, since I have Raynauds and my feet get painful with cold. I think the 11 1/2 would have worked. I bought them primarily for a hospital stay coming up. They are plenty wide, especially the toe area, so accommodate bunions with no rubbing anywhere. The velcro strap holds them on, though they stick out off the sides since my foot is fairly slender and I don't have swelling issues at this point. I tried my orthotics in them, and was surprised I could wear them, but it seemed a little sloppy moving around in a soft shoes. They are super cushy to walk on, and feel like they support my arches, even though I am better off using my orthotics. The wool feels warm, just a little drafty through the keyhole on top, but socks help with that.

I purchased a pair of these slippers for myself several months ago and loved them. My husband who never wore a pair of slippers in his life, asked me to order a pair for him! \r\nI am amazed and pleased to report that he loves his as much as I love mine.\r\nThanks Zappos for stocking items like these that are so hard to find in stores.

Dad's Shoe - These really worked out for my Dad. he is having problems with his feet swelling and these worked out great. They were light and are really comfortable.

Great Slippers - My husband loves these slippers. Not only are they comfy, they support his feet, plus he can wear them outside to get the paper. Zappos delivered them very promptly which I appreciated.

Foamtreads for happy feet1 - Very comfortable slipper. Warm but not heavy. Size true and works well with my orthodics. Shoe is light weight but gives surprising support due to great sole. On the fence? Don't be. Get yours now!

Great slipper/shoe - This slipper/shoe works perfectly for my Dad who is in a nursing home. Very easy to get on and off his foot. The top velcro closure allows for a perfect fit which is what we were looking for. Will buy another pair to rotate for cleaning.

These shoes were a life saver for my father. His feet are swollen from nerve damage and lymphedema. They are wonderful and he can adjust them as the swelling changes. I highly recommend. Worth every penny.

These shoes are perfect for my mother! She has lymphadema and is frequently very swollen and very hard to fit. Zappos is wonderful to do business with; your customer service is beyond compare!

I bought these for my college-age son, and he loves them! They look great, feel great, fit great, and are washable. What more could you ask for? -- Well, I didn't ask for it, but they arrived the very next day! Zappos rocks.
