It would be helpful if you put the belts on a model, so we can see how it would look The buckle is so big that it can't be centered on the zipper (jeans) The buckle also seems lightweight and cheap!!!

Belt is a bit stiff. Would like it more if it were more flexable

very nice belt - stylish and fit. the backside at the 3rd belt hole already has cracked so quality seems to be questionable.

The finish on the belt comes off where you fasten it. For whatever reason, the leather must not be high quality. The holes where I attach the belt have very bad wear despite only owning the belt for a very short time (about 2 weeks). This happened twice. The first time they replaced the belt at no cost, which was great. Unfortunately, the same exact thing happened the second time as well. Maybe this isn't supposed to be used as an everyday belt. Would not recommend.

The leather (if you can call it that) has already started cracking and I've had the belt for less than a month.

This is a good looking belt with a nice buckle for casual dress. The leather is not as soft & supple as previous J&M belts I have purchased, but overall I am satisfied with the purchase.

This is a nice looking belt that matches my Johnston & Murphy shoes, but the belt buckle is secured by only four loops of thread which broke and rendered the belt unusable. The J&M store replaced the belt, but a better solution would be to secure the buckle by stitching across the width of the belt on either side of the belt keeper.

You did not ask me to review the expensive item in the purchase and the one that will determine whether I come back. The shoes were the squeakiest things I've ever owned. I sounded like a wounded antelope walking down the halls, I had lions tracking me as weak prey. You need to sell them with silicone gel to put under the tongue to stop the rubbing where the elastic connects. Poor design.

This is the most difficult belt to unbuckle that I've ever owned and I don't care for it much. It's a nice belt and I've purchased other J&M belts without a problem & I very much like all my many J&M shoes too. But J&M fell short on this item.

Just purchased the belt and it looks good and the color is nice. It is thick and feels a bit rigid but will need to break it in. I wear it almost every day. I am always a bit leery when I Had to remove the "Made in China" label. The add only states "imported" Hope to not be disappointed especially with the brand name.

the belt looked great but the finish cannot withstand much use before it wears off. the color below the exterior finish is such that using the belt for anything other that working in the yard would be unacceptable.

As a belt. Matches shoes and stitch on shoes well. The color on the leather where the belt loops through the buckle and buckle rest on top of the leather peels.

Make sure you put it on the correct notch/tightness the FIRST time you wear it all day. The top layer of leather will wear off wherever the buckle sits within hours of wearing it, and at that point you're stuck with that belt at that size forever, unless you change notches and want an ugly marking showing where you originally buckled it.I didnt actually try returning it b/c I assumed theyd say it was used, I dont know maybe they would take it back... Also, I'm usually around size 31 waist...I got size 32 belt (smallest one they had at the store and I think the guy said smallest one they make) and its on the loosest notch and fits about right, but has 5 extra notches on one side of the buckle, as opposed to some notches on either side of the buckle to even out or give leeway if i needed bigger or smaller as opposed to only smaller. Again, after wearing it one day (one afternoon actually, bought it during lunch break) i realized maybe i shouldve gotten a bigger belt to even out the notches on either side, but the leather was worn away under the buckle making it looked used and not returnable. For this brand, and [$], I'd think the leather would be more durable than that...makes me wonder if its even real leather as the top layer wore away leaving a very obvious white/tan line underneath. With all that said, the belt does look phenomenal with the matching shoes.

I'm surprised at the lack of quality of this belt. I've owned a few pairs of shoes that are superb quality. This belt is nothing like the other products I've owned, and I should have returned it as soon as I received it. Unfortunately my wife removed the tag so my understanding is the belt cannot be returned. If it can be returned please let me know!

Exactly 90 days after purchase, after wearing the belt 2-3 times per week, the stitching on the loop around the buckle came undone. Now I own a strip of leather and a buckle that won't stay attached.

Listing is intentionally deceptive because this belt is not made in Italty at all it is made in China.

Belt seemed cheaply made and did not match any of the shoes of the same color listing. I have dissatisfied with the purchased and returned the item. I have 6 pairs of J&M shoes and multiple belts from them. This is not up to standards.

I own many J&M pieces but this will be the last. Have had mostly quality pieces in the past but disappointed in the last few, especially this belt. Has great looks but the quality is extremely lacking after only wearing the belt 10 times. The top layer is peeling revealing the poor quality. Would highly recommend staying away from this belt.

I purchased the belt to match a pair of cognac leather shoes I'd just bought from Johnston and Murphy. I love the shoes. I can't say the same for the belt. After wearing the belt TWICE, the belt's leather 'finish' wore off in several spots. The dilapidated belt looked so ridiculous it drew unwanted attention. Assuming it was defective, I returned it and was given a replacement belt. To my surprise, the SAME THING happened to the replacement belt after wearing it a few times. I'm a mathematician, not a mountain climber. If this belt can't handle my daily activity, there's something wrong with the design or construction. I own two other belts that I've worn regularly for the last few years. Neither has had any comparable issue.
