Very disappointed with this extremely low quality from Johnston Murphy and for the price I paid no matter who the manufacture is. The belt was under sized and the thin layer of leather looking veneer wore through where it buckles the first time I wore it. What a worthless piece of total junk. I have started to notice quality issues with other Johnston Murphy products beginning 4 or 5 years ago. Johnston Murphy has gone downhill beyond my confidence level for me to remain a loyal customer. What a shame.

The belt came today and I am very pleased with it – BUT please know that it runs small. I always wear a 34" belt, my closet has nothing but 34" belts, but this belt is much smaller. I couldn't even use the first hole. I am ordering the next size up and expect that it will be fine.

I have some J/M brown shoes and the brown was an exact color match. That was nice. There's nothing fabulous about the belt---it's just a well made, quality dress belt with a nice silver buckle. I sucked it up and ordered a size up and am glad that I did because it actually fits and works better than some 38's that I own. Lesson learned there. A good belt at a fair price. Can't ask for much more than that.

Just what you would expect from J&M. High quality, well made and looks great. Goes well with formal dress slacks and casual chinos. I plan on getting another color soon. The spacing of the holes is spot on and provides for adjustment after meals and imbibing.

Fantastic belt that is slim and is true to the dark burgundy color. It looks incredibly classy with a pair of dark jeans or with a suit.

I've worn this belt once so far, and can't complain yet. I did heed a previous reviewer's warning and ordered a size up as I typically wear 34" belts and am glad I opted for the 36".

Good-looking and comfortable, however, significant marks on the leather after only a few times wearing it.

As soon as I opened the box to inspect this belt, I immediately set up the return label and immediately went to UPS to send it back. VERY POOR quality!!!! I should have listened to the reviews. I am not joking when I say this belt is not even worth 10 bucks!! If I had received this as a gift I would have thought it was a fake Johnston Murphy belt, thats how bad it is. There is no way this belt is worth 70 bucks!!! Horrible, horrible quality! I cant stress that enough!!!

AS with other reviewers I too had quality issues with this belt. The buckle will remove the finish from the strap after a few wears. J&M replaced it once but the replacement had the same issue. Avoid this one.

I learened that you need to get a belt 2 sizes above what your normally wear your jeans waist size at. The belt that I got was the brown one and it is a little on the red side. For me, this is perfect because it matches my shoes perfectly. I recommend, I think Johnston and Murphy is a great quality brand.

Good looking belt, but needed to go up two sizes!

The belt looks great, matches nicely with J&M brown oxfords, and has a quality buckle and logo embellishment for a little bling. The guidance to order one size up was wrong for me. That one was too big, but Zappos did their convenient return for one my normal size.

what can i say? it's a nice belt. it works. it seems to run true to size even though i don't want to admit that i now take a size 40.

I liked the brown belt so much I ordered a black one. I can't comment on long term durability yet, but they seem to be quality materials. I ordered one size up from my standard pant waist and it fit perfect. My only comment on shipping from Zappos is that on 2/3 belts I have ordered, they are rolling them backwards. I am assuming it will correct itself after I roll it the correct way so it lays flat again.
