This shoe runs true to size and is very well made, good looking and comfortable. I did not realize that because it is (as described!) designed and made for dancing, the sole is soft suede rather than smooth leather. This could be a durability concern and should be mentioned in the product description.

These are beautiful shoes that fit wonderfully and are stylish. Unfortunately, I must return them because they are true dancing shoes. They have a thick suede bottom just for dancing or only indoor wear. I thought that they were shoes that could hold up to rough parking lots, etc...

After 2 tries, I finally found the size I needed. I haven't worn the shoes yet, but only gave it 4 stars because I have a hard time with the buckle. I wish it had the easy on/off buckle found on other shoes.

FYI: I bought 7.5 size because the reviews here are pretty much unanimous that the shoes run small. Initially when I tried them on out of the box, they were snug. Then I danced only twice! Each time I danced for about 3 hours. Now the shoes are size 8, one size larger than what I wear, and my foot slides on the side, which could result in an injury. If that was not a problem, I would have ranked these shoes really high, but not in this case. The buckle was a little uncomfortable when i tightened my shoes in hopes of helping me not have my foot slide on the side; that did not help, and my knuckle would hurt. I tried placing the buckle on top of my foot to avoid the pain. This does not look pretty, but it's one way to resolve the problem.
