Amazing dance shoes! I am the pickiest person when it come to finding high quality shoes since I have low back (SI) problems and arthritis in my left foot. The day I received my Bloch Simona's in the mail, I wore them for 3 hours of swing dancing. They required no breaking in. The combination of the super squishy gel pad under the ball of the foot, which is pure luxury, and the soft, supple leather makes this shoe a foot haven. The arch, foot bed, and heel are crafted to seat my foot and balance my body perfectly. I will wear this shoe to every dancing event I go to, including weddings. They are very attractive and sexy. I received several compliments on them. I ordered this shoe in a half size larger than I normally wear, based on the reviews, and they were perfect.

This is a really sexy alternative to the plain, ankle strap Capezio character shoes we use on stage. The suede sole makes spins really easy, the leather is soft and molds to your feet. I take a 7-7.5, and the 7.5 was perfect! I have a narrow foot though, so take your width into account. I love this shoe, and Zappos rocks! The price was cheaper elsewhere, but do other dance store had both free and fast shipping! That's how much I love Zappos! Rock on!

Thank you Zappos! These "dancing shoes" were the 3rd pair I ordered, and very comfortable. I appreciate being able to walk around my house in all 3 pairs, which helped me decide. I sent the other 2 back via "Zappos Free Shipping" and I am grateful! I usually wear size 7 in "closed shoes", but reading reviews/recommendations, I purchased a 7 1/2, and they are PERFECT! The "natural" color makes my short legs look longer!

I love these shoes, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought. They are light like ballet slippers and fit like a glove. I wore them 2 nights in a row for 8 hrs each night.

Shoes are comfortable and very attractive on my feet! They ran just a little smaller than expected but still okay.

Beautiful shoe that makes me feel more graceful before I ever take a step! I like the non-holed strap, as I have slender ankles and can make fast adjustments if my feet swell while dancing. I appreciate the black sole (some other brands of similar style have natural colored sole and it stands out against the black shoe). Seems well made. Ordered a 1/2 size larger than usual since I’m having forefoot and toe pain, and will pad slightly to move foot back slightly in shoe to get more width at trouble spots. Even though I have flat arches, my feet look nice (little overhang along sides). My first pair of Blochs and I’m impressed.

Nice shoe! It looks nice, and feels nice. I like the soft padded insole for comfort, and is true to size.

Thanks for the great shoes, Zappos. I ordered these shoes in gold and received them the next day. They look great and I was able to wear these two nights in a row without any pain (and I normally don't wear heels). I guess these shoes are supposed to be for dancing, but they are great party shoes, too. I love them!

This is my 4th pair of dance shoes and is by far the most comfortable. It feels very flexible, like a jazz shoe with a good, solid heel. I can literally feel the boards of the dance floor through the shoes, yet they are well-cushioned and needed almost no breaking in. I like the friction-type buckle on the strap (no holes), which enables me to fit the strap perfectly to my small-boned ankles without punching additional holes. Would love to see these features incorporated in a dressier shoe for special events and competitions.

I bought these shoes in gold, and I have been very pleased. The shoes are a good heel height for me. I don\'t like really high, spiky heels. The gold is shiny and attractive, and I think the shoe is comfortable. The first time I wore them, I was on my feet for several hours and they served me well.

Very Nice shoe - This shoe runs small. I had to order a 1/2 size up and thank goodness they carried 10 1/2. Lots of comfy cushiness. I look forward to using these for my beginners swing class!

I bought these shoes for the choir stage performances, but the heel was a little too high for me. Also, found them a little too narrow. Returning back.

After searching all of Zappos for the perfect shoe (with heel but not too high because I'm tall) with the perfect styling, I instantly bought this the second I saw it. The bottom of the shoe is suede. The entire feel is soft and comfortable with no cheapo support. It's all good, EXCEPT the sole began to peel off near the toe (I ended up cutting it off, about .25 inch x 1 inch piece right at the toe). So hopefully these shoes last. I LOVE THEM otherwise. So modern, sleek, comfortable, and very sexy!

Beautiful shoe! Needed a bit of stretching. If it was made, I would wear a Size 10 3/4! But this shoe is roomy, comfortable to walk/stand in.

I was looking for a soft leather shoe with this heel size. It is very comfortable; I used it for a night out dancing. I just wish there were more style choices from this company because they make a shoe I could walk and dance in, with comfort.

I fell in love with the way these shoes look. I am not a dancer but dancing shoes are extremely comfortable. I bought them for street wear, so when they came I had a shoemaker put leather soles and heels on them.I do wish that the strap fastened with a proper buckle. The slide buckle makes me nervous. I may have that replaced over time. I cannot give them a full five stars due to the buckle issue, however I love them.

This is a great shoe. It is very comfortable, not bad looking either. Not sure how it would hold up in the long run because the soil is very thin. They do not wear well on the dancing floor.

Nice looking shoe, very soft and comfortable to wear for dancing tango. But the suede outsole is too thin and weak. It keeps coming off at the end, and I have to keep gluing it. A real shame. I wish they also made them with a leather outsole, or a much stronger suede outsole, like the one of the TIC TAC Aracely shoe.

Good news: the shoes are beautiful and very comfortable (I can dance in them for hours, they don't hurt by bare feet). Bad news: after I wore them for just a couple of times, the leather started to peel off the toe. By now, after I've had them for about half a year, they have ugly patches of peeled off leather all over them. The shoes are supposed to be for dancing, so sure, sometimes people step on your toes. You'd think the company that makes expensive dance shoes would know how to make them so that the leather can withstand it! I have a pair of much cheaper old dance shoes that I've been wearing to dance lessons for years, and they don't have any scratches on them. Very disappointing!

Order at least half a size larger than usual and you will love them! Very comfortable and pretty too.

I have narrow feet, high arch, and moderate neuromas in both feet. I have a difficult time finding narrow shoes with enough cushion and support. These run narrow enough for me and have all the cushion I need, plus just enough space in the toe to fit additional cushion for dancing. The wrap strap makes it quite secure. I am experimenting with arch support ideas, though, because that helps divert pressure from my neuromas. I wear a 7.5 or 8. Based on reviews, I would have ordered 8.5, but only 8 was in stock and they are perfect. I will say my dance instructor is not impressed with Bloch in general, but I am really happy with these shoes so far.

Immediately very comfortable, stylish and found that the 1/2 size more fit perfect.

These are wonderful shoes. I have a little osteo-arthritis in my foot and needed something I could wear to a wedding reception that would allow me to dance. I wanted something with a bit of style, an attractive heel and proper support and thought of trying a dance shoe. These looked like they'd fit the bill. I bought them and switched out from my fancy heels to these for the reception. I danced all night! The heel was high enough to look pretty but low enough that I wasn't nursing sore feet. Just bought a second pair to keep in reserve. I love these shoes! They have a suede sole so aren't for street wear - save them for indoor parties and receptions.

I wear a size 9 1/2 in heels, I tried the 10 is was too tight across the foot, the 10 1/2 fit good. But there's about a inch of space between my big toe and the tip of the shoe. I think it makes my foot look big. But oh well, they're well made shoes and didn't use cheap materials. I got some Caprizio's and they had plastic lining-ugh I sent those back. This shoe has very soft leather and they feel nice on your feet. Hope this helps.

This is a beautiful shoe! It looks great on, and better yet, feels great on. There's a nice amount of padding on the balls of the foot (much more than my other pairs). I was concerned about the strap and the heel cup cutting into my foot, but it fits me securely. I've tried on the Bloch brand in a store, so I learned that I need 1 full size larger than normal. I was confident buying from Zappos and knew that the 10 M would fit (and it did beautifully!). These shoes are so comfortable, the heel doesn't feel to be 2 1/2 inches high. I made it through my 60 minute ballroom class and then another 2 hours of open dancing without any pain/pinching/tightness. I also own the Bloch Sienna and the Bloch Split Flex. Of the three shoes, this one is turning out to be my favorite. BTW, I'm a beginner ballroom dancer and have never worn another brand. However from trying the others on, Bloch always felt more comfortable. I believe you will also be pleased with the Bloch brand and the Simona.
