Great shoes. Use for Argentine tango and they were comfortable the first time I used them, no breaking in time. I needed 1/2 size larger than my regular shoes.

I bought these to wear to a wedding. These shoes are made for dancing. They have the cork sole for non-slip, and totally adjustable strap for a perfect fit on the ankle. Super comfortable. I usually wear 10.5 wide, which is very difficult to find. These were available in a 10.5, but I had to settle for a medium width, but it turned out to be just fine. The only thing I would have preferred is that the gold could have been toned down a bit so not so bright. But overall, a great shoe.

I wanted shoes for dancing and these are great! They are very comfortable, just the right height, and attractive. I do have some difficulty buckling the straps but I hope to do better with more practice.\r\nAfter shopping in many stores for dancing shoes, shopping at Zappos was the best. I had many shoes from which to choose and got just what I wanted.\r\nThe service was fantastic; I ordered on Wednesday and my shoes were at my home on Friday.

I loved this shoe when I first put it on! It is immediately comfortable and stays on your heel and foot. I like it better than the DanceLites I have been wearing for years! You might want to order a half size larger than street shoe size if you want to put pads under the balls of your feet, but the padding is adequate without it. It is well made and is well balanced. I like the X strap because it holds your foot in the shoe really well, but doesn't bind or pinch your ankle. No complaints about this shoe at all. Of course, if it doesn't work for you, you can just send it back, order another size, etc. I love Zappos! Their customer service is the best of any kind of online store! I tried the Capezio version of this style, the cross strap style, and found them so snug in the toe, I gave them away! The Bloch version fits me better and has some nice padding. Flexible in the toe area and stiff for support in the arch. The black suede soles look very sleek overall. I'm going to wear them salsa dancing. We'll see how my feet are after a few hours. One side note, I wear a 7, but I have very stout strong legs and so the ankle strap barely made it around my ankle. They looked nice on, though.

Now this is a first. I usually have to break in shoes, but I wore these brand new shoes dancing for 3 hours and not only did my feet not hurt, but I had started to develop a blister on one of my toes, and thought I couldn't go dancing that night. When I gingerly put these shoes, expecting my toe to hurt, I felt nothing; the cushioning inside the shoe was so soothing. Fabulous shoes; wish I could get them in ivory or bone color. Going to order in black. The gold looks too bright in the photos.

I am very pleased with this shoe. A friend has it and loves wearing it. In fact, I have noticed a number of women wearing this particular style. I tried on my friends before I purchased mine. It is a very comfortable shoe with a lot of suppport, style and easy to dance in.

I bought these shoes after beginning ballroom dance classes. The shoes are both comfortable and supportive. They have the proper soles for ballroom dancing and the special buckle helps you to get the perfect fit. They are padded as well which allows you to dance longer without tired feet. I would definitely recommend these shoes to others starting out in ballroom dancing.

I ordered these shoes looking for something comfortable but not frumpy. They are FABULOUSLY comfortable, true to size, and pretty. I should have thought about them being made for dance floors - I was looking for something to wear to walk in at work. That being said, I love them and will look into getting them re-soled for daily wear b/c I love the way they feel.
