I have purchased my second pair of Bloch Simona because the first pair performed so well for ballroom and tango. The cushioning on the forefoot is amazingly comfortable even after several hours of dancing and the strap is is easy to fasten, take off, and adjust. The shoes also look lovely--very feminine shape and will enhance your lines. Well worth the price of the shoes! I believe the shoes are a half size smaller than your normal street shoe size (I'm usually wear 8 and ordered a 8.5 which worked well). As for the width, the B width seems to favor a narrower foot but note that since the material is leather, it will stretch out some with wear.

I'm thrilled with these shoes for both comfort and style. Based on other reviews, I took the advice and ordered half size larger than I normally wear, and they fit perfectly. Flattering on the foot and great with dresses. The leather is beautiful quality and soft, eliminating the need to break these in. I got the nude color and love it.

These are great dance shoes! I've tried 6-7 other pairs and this is the only pair that works for me. I usually wear a 6.5 but the 7 is better. It is a bit difficult to buckle - especially when I'm in a hurry.

I love this shoe! I never thought I would be able to dance in heels. The shoe is very comfortable. I run between a 6.5 and 7 in normal shoes, so the sizing is pretty accurate.

Very nice and comfortable. You do have to get a full size larger, and if you wear wide, then go extra wide. However, it will stretch so use your discretion. But the shoes are really nice, fit comfortably and will buy another pair of dancing shoes as soon as I find something in the proper size.

I normally wear a 7.5, and I had to order a 9 in this shoe, so they do run small! They seemed comfortable when I tried them on, but I still haven't worn them out for a night of dancing.

I am not sure I want to tell everyone about this shoe. There will not be any left! This is my third pair. The quality, the fit, the style all classic. The service from Zappos all were spot on!

I ordered both the Bloch Simona and Capezio X-Strap Pump - 2.5". I like the look of the Capezio better, but after reading such great reviews on the Bloch, I had to try them both. The Bloch wins. It's better made and keeps dancers in mind with its more flexible sole, secure fit and adjustable on/off clasp. Most importantly, the Bloch is much more comfortable than the Capezio, which I could tell from the minute I put the shoes on. This is a great shoe for tango, salsa, cha cha, swing and more - plus my spins improved by wearing this shoe. Definitely order 1/2-size up.

This is a beautiful, classic shoe. I like how this shoe really fit my slightly narrow foot: snug, light and flexible. (I bought a medium width). My foot did not slide down as so often happens with a heel, because the insole is made of suede. The narrow, fully adjustable strap is actually quite helpful in keeping the shoe in place: do note that the narrowness of the strap and the tiny buckle could be difficult for some to manage if they have mobility issues. I bought these shoes for street wear, and specifically bought a dance shoe because I used to dance and know such shoes are often more comfortable than conventional dress shoe. Be aware - if you do this you will need to add a half-sole, as the soft suede sole is not meant for wear outside the studio or stage.

I have tried many shoes for ballroom as I seem to have problem feet. This shoe, Simona, is the most comfortable that I have been able to find. I have it in black and natural and just ordered my second pair of black. It is an excellent stand by for me when I don\'t want hurting feet! I order a half size larger because I have high arches and add arch support.

For dancing shoes, these have a nice line (not embarrassing). Look nude. The heel is very stable. Extremely comfortable insole in both padded and suede line, and the leather is glove soft. I will buy these again!

Excellent quality-comfortable shoe. Length feels true to size. Width feels narrower than size, which is great for me since I have a narrow foot and a hard time finding dance shoes that are not too wide.

I own 2 pairs of the Bloch Simona shoe in black and would buy it in gray and navy if it were available. I had the sole reinforced so I could wear it on the street (I'm not a dancer). It is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned; love the style, shape, heel height, everything about it. Feels like it was made on my foot. If you ever make it in gray or navy please contact me. My friends ask about this shoe, they love the style too.

Order one size larger if your foot is wider. The toe is more pointed than the Bloch Split Flex and is narrower in the toe, but fits the same in length. The straps really hugs your foot, so you don't feel like you are leaving your shoe behind when you dance.

I just started taking ballroom dance lessons and wanted to have the right shoes, so did a lot of research online and of course ended up buying my Bloch Simonas from Zappos - everybody's favorite place to buy shoes! They practically arrived the minute I placed the order, but I'm getting used to that. Why can't other companies provide the same wonderful service? I normally wear a 9M and bought one size larger based on customer reviews. They fit fine but I can see that the 9, although snug, might have been okay too, especially since these aren't street shoes. Depends on personal preference, and I think serious dancers might like a little tighter fit. The shoes are soft and flexible right out of the box, and I like the way the neutral color makes my legs look longer. The suede sole provides the right mix of grip and glide on the dance floor. There are other more expensive dance shoes on the market, but these are just right for me at beginner level, and look very classic and well made. I like the cross straps. I don't usually wear heels but these are really easy to walk in. My dance teacher complimented me on them, although he did say that if I want a Latin dance shoe it should strictly speaking have an open toe, or be sandal style. But this is good for all around dancing. Thank you for another great Zappos experience!

Shoe does not fit true to size, however I ordered one size up and they fit perfectly. Shoe is very comfortable.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are so comfortable to wear at my dancing classes. I wish that I would have had them when my three daughters graduated from high school and when one had her wedding. I could have easily stood and danced for hours in these shoes. They are so light weight and flexible that I would like to purchase one in every color. These shoes were definitely a treasure to find.

I needed a pair of closed toe dance shoes for tango. I wanted some heal and a great dressy look for skirts and dresses. These shoes are amazingly comfortable to dance in all night and my husband thinks they are sexy! I ordered a half size larger than what I usually wear and they fit like a dream.

Amazing dance shoes! I am the pickiest person when it come to finding high quality shoes since I have low back (SI) problems and arthritis in my left foot. The day I received my Bloch Simona's in the mail, I wore them for 3 hours of swing dancing. They required no breaking in. The combination of the super squishy gel pad under the ball of the foot, which is pure luxury, and the soft, supple leather makes this shoe a foot haven. The arch, foot bed, and heel are crafted to seat my foot and balance my body perfectly. I will wear this shoe to every dancing event I go to, including weddings. They are very attractive and sexy. I received several compliments on them. I ordered this shoe in a half size larger than I normally wear, based on the reviews, and they were perfect.

This is a really sexy alternative to the plain, ankle strap Capezio character shoes we use on stage. The suede sole makes spins really easy, the leather is soft and molds to your feet. I take a 7-7.5, and the 7.5 was perfect! I have a narrow foot though, so take your width into account. I love this shoe, and Zappos rocks! The price was cheaper elsewhere, but do other dance store had both free and fast shipping! That's how much I love Zappos! Rock on!

Thank you Zappos! These "dancing shoes" were the 3rd pair I ordered, and very comfortable. I appreciate being able to walk around my house in all 3 pairs, which helped me decide. I sent the other 2 back via "Zappos Free Shipping" and I am grateful! I usually wear size 7 in "closed shoes", but reading reviews/recommendations, I purchased a 7 1/2, and they are PERFECT! The "natural" color makes my short legs look longer!

I love these shoes, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought. They are light like ballet slippers and fit like a glove. I wore them 2 nights in a row for 8 hrs each night.
