I have had a pair of these babies for over a year as my primary casual shoe. I have gotten multiple complements on their style. They are super comfortable, nice and cool on warm southern Californian days. I was a little concerned when I got them that the soles would be chewed through in no time, the material seemed like a quite soft rubber. However a year later, they are still holding up well.

These were very comfortable right out of the box. They are a little darker than they look in the picture and make a noise in non carpeted surfaces, but nothing really annoying. I'm very happy overall.

A different take on a shoe. More like a moccasin than a modern shoe. It feels like a slipper that doesn't slip. Maybe if you have strong arches and don't need the support, these will work. My wife has flat feet and needs the support, so these wouldn't be so good for her. They are very casual looking, and with the hemp and suede, look natural. The lacing comes up high on the shoe so it doesn't just slip on or off. The soles are sticky but not obnoxiously so. For me, they look great and feel super comfortable. I do think that these shoes are built on a wider last that many of the other Patagonia shoes. Certainly wider than the Boaris. I generally fit in 9 1/2 shoes, and do in the Olulu's. But I need a 10 in the Boaris. I've had them about a month and will have to see how they last. For the money, they should last a good while. I love Patagonia in general, and hope I am as satisfied with these shoes as I have been with the rest of their gear.

I was truly amazed! Very helpful customer service. I ordered my shoes Saturday night, and received them Monday morning, on a holiday. The shoes cost less than from the manufacturer and they upgraded my shipping for no extra charge. Thank you Zappos

I have been on a journey to find comfortable shoes and these do not disappoint. I tend to gravitate to the out of the norm when it comes to style and these are cool. Great fit and comfort right out of the box. Super combination of Zappos next day shipping and Patagonia comfort. I rotate thru my shoes as to let the shoes dry out from any possible perspiration along with cedar shoe trees - so shoes last much longer with me. I'm sure to have these around for a while.

These are good shoes. The look is, like many of Patagonia's shoes, distinctive. One must decide for one's self whether they like it. I personally am still not sold on the green color, but a couple friends have said that they are not bad. What you do get, without question, is comfort, rock-solid construction and extremely high quality materials, with low environmental impact. These qualities sold me, as I use these for walking to school about 1.5 miles round trip every day, and often use them for riding my long(skate)board. My feet are wider than most, and the roomy toe box on these kicks comfortably accommodates them, which I appreciate.

Great Shoes. I have wide feet and a podiatrist who wants me to wear shoes with very little support. These shoes have a huge toebox and are fairly wide through the entire foot. These shoes have almost no support. You can easily twist them and bend them in your hands. They are holding up very well after 6 months of moderate use. I love the fact that they are made by a company who cares about the environment. Patagucci rocks!

Attractive shoe that was added to my shoe wardrobe as a dressy casual kick to wear with casual pants and jeans. They are comfortable and seem well built.

I bought these to trek around Italy in comfort and they were superb. Light as sandals but obviously more protection and appropriate for restaurants etc. Lots of miles on them and they look as good as the day I got 'em. A bit pricey but looks like they will stay with you for a long, long time. It seems to me every Patagonia item I buy is high quality and durable so you don't have to replace stuff for years. But, you pay. Seems like a good deal.

This is a great shoe. Super comfortable. One note is that it runs about 1/2 a size large. I have worn a size 10 since I was a teenager (20 years) and in this shoe I had to get a 9 1/2.

Great shoe. Very light & comfortable, plus stylish. They go with almost anything short of a suit. Only drawback is they are priced a bit too high.

I looked around for months trying to find a decent casual sneaker-like shoe that would be comfortable. I took a gamble and tried these. They are pretty darn nice and I am finally satisfied. They let my toes breathe without squeezing them like most foreign made shoes do. They are also light-weight which is very nice. I like 'em!

There are great shoes. Having transitioned to minimalist footwear and abandoned overly supportive shoes, I was looking for a shoe with minimal arch support, sole thickness and heel cup. These shoes do come with an insole but it's flat enough to suit my needs. I usually wear a man's 8 to an 8.5. I found the 8 to be too tight/narrow in the toes so I returned them and ordered the 8.5s. Having come from wearing Feelmax Pankas (a modern moccasin) I could not abide by any restriction in the toe box. Otherwise the 8s might have been an OK fit.

Plenty of comments over these...and the negative ones simply failed attempts at masking the burning jealousy. Although I’ve added insoles, I’ve worn them without... all to the pleasant fulfillment of comfortable expectation on behalf of my marathon-abused feet. I could do without the lettering on the sides, but given this age of inelegant and shameless horse-trampling brand marketing, it’s comparatively not too bad. Enjoying all things bees, the soles rock... but for all you ninja assassins out there, bear in mind: they tend to squeak on linoleum and concrete. Stick to unbroken hard-surface urban terrain, as the stitching along the perimeter joining the soles with the material are exposed...and I’ve had gravel pull some of the stitching out. Altogether great shoes...the kind of style I remember appreciating as a young boy, and gravitate towards as a bitter and aging malcontent, vaguely amused at the irony of wearing that which reminds me of the imbecile hopeful promise of youth.

There are many casual tennis-style shoes out there and they start to blur together after searching online. I was driven primarily by comfort and next by style. I had recently discovered that my feet were wider than normal (who ever measures this?) and wanted something to accommodate this. I ran through a few different brands and styles and came across the reviews for the Olulu that mentioned its wide toe box. I perused the various photos of the shoe and was happy to see that the width didn’t upset the aesthetic balance of the shoe-shape. I ordered them (slightly more expensive than some other options, but a solid brand and somewhat more sustainably produced than average--which I like). The shoes fit true to my expectations. You don’t need to order these a half-size large to fit your toes. The size you think you are will fit with plenty of wiggle room. They do not run long in the right size. The soles are soft and supple for excellent road feel and the suede and hemp upper looks great and in sage green, goes with almost any casual outfit. The sage green is also a perfect match for my couch at home. One other little piece of flair that I liked? The insoles are lined with merino wool and feel fantastic on your feet. If only companies would stop stitching their labels to the top of insoles...

These are fantastic shoes! When I first got them, I wanted to walk around all day because they were so comfortable. It took me a bit to decide if the style was for me, but after a few compliments I decided to keep them.

My Olulu’s arrived the next day after ordering. Zappos rocks! The Olulu shoe is very cool looking and comfortable. I have the slip-on Gallos as well. They're different enough from each other that it doesn't look like you have the same shoe in another color. Patagonia is a great company that produces excellent products. Zappos and Patagonia... a great pair.

Absolutely amazing shoe! Comfy as heck. I have wide feet and these fit really well. I usually have to buy 11s because of width issue, but the 10.5 fit just right. Just bought three more different Patagonia's hoping that they have the same type of fit.

I love these shoes. I bought a pair a couple years ago, and I've finally worn through the rubber soles. They are probably the most durable shoes I've ever owned. Unlike virtually all other shoes I've ever owned, they're also very breathable, and in my opinion, quite comfortable. The only downside is that there isn't much arch support, so if you plan to walk very long distances (e.g., 5+ miles), you might look for something with a little more cushioning. I'm not a big fan of skate shoes, so I kind of like how these look. Ordering my second pair now. I should probably order more, too, because Patagonia appears to have end-of-life'd these guys. Oh well.

They're very comfy for your daily usage, but a little bit thin soled for long hikes. Then again, some people like that too. There's a hefty insole rather than a thick sole so you could change the fit of the shoe pretty drastically by just changing the insole.

Nice shoe. Very light almost like it isn't even there. Looks good. Only con is the shoe has no support, its pretty much a moccasin. But if you are looking for something like a moccasin except more stylish this it.
