Merrell Encore Chill is my favorite knock around shoe. This is my second pair. I love that Zappos offers it in half sizes. I found it true to size. It is a comfortable fitting clog with good arch support. Cozy without making my feet too hot. I have had the Merrell clog without the fur lining also, but they were too wide for my foot. I guess the fur takes up just enough room to give me the perfect fit. I've had my last pair for a couple of years now and was able to easily replace the removable footbed with a new one. If you wear orthotics, this is the shoe for you as it accepts shoe inserts well. It is not a very feminine shoe, more of a rugged outdoor appeal. I will keep ordering this shoe as long as Merrell keeps making them.

A very comfortable shoe. Friends have been telling me for years how comfy Merrells are, and I had to see for myself. I can wear this shoe all day long and I have full support on my arch, with no leg or foot aches at the end of the day I used to get with other comfort shoes. You must try them to believe them.

I wear these shoes with no socks in the dead of winter on snow and my feet never get cold. I love them! I'm addicted to them. But they run very small, so get at least one size larger than normal.

I am thrilled with my Merrell Encore shoes. They arrived next day, I put them on and started wearing them immediately. No break-in time. The purchase was for a trip to NY and I knew I needed something warm and comfortable. They were both.

I may live in Palm Springs, but I have thin blood and work in a cement block building. My feet freeze. These shoes are the most comfortable and warm. I love them and have them in several colors. I hate to wear socks and tennis shoes that are so tight on my feet. I can just slid my feet into these and it's like wearing slippers all day. They are true to size and I am sure you will love them, too!

These are the most comfortable winter shoes I have ever owned. They are very warm, and I even wear them in the snow and they do keep my feet dry. They are true to size. I talked my mom into getting a pair, and she loves hers just as much.

I bought a pair of these two years ago, and I've worn them pretty much non-stop in every weather except hot and sunny. I've pretty much destroyed my first pair; now I have to decide what color I want next! This shoe has a fantastic tread for walking on ice and snow. With a bad knee, I live in fear of putting it out by slipping on the ice, but I've never slipped in these. They are super warm and cute in an elvish kind of way. After two years, the fleece is getting compacted and they're not as warm as they once were, but that's to be expected, especially considering how hard I am on shoes. Arch support is great; these are incredibly comfortable to wear for extended periods with no foot/calf fatigue.

Awesome clog. I have plantar fasciitis, so I wasn't sure how these clogs would work out. They did take two or three days to break in. Now they are as comfy as slippers. They also are really steady and balanced with great grip (in the rain and snow) and so tipping your ankle isn't as much of a risk as would be with other clogs. You can walk across a rainy parking lot without being nervous about falling. One more shoe I can wear. They are really attractive, for both formal and casual.

I love it. I live in Colorado so that you know how the weather is. I wear almost every day except when heavy snow. So comfy.

I have many pairs of Merrell shoes and find them to be very comfortable and wear very well. The Encore is very warm and confortable.

I love this shoe. It is warm and extremely comfortable. The fit is true to size. I wear anywhere from a 9 to a 10 depending on the shoe. This has a nice thick fleece lining and I can wear it with medium weight socks. I bought the 9 1/2 which works well.

I bought these to replace a well worn pair of the previous generation of these. I ordered the same size, but these seemed to fit differently. I compared the two shoes on the outside and they seemed exactly the same in size, so concluded it was just that the sheepskin on the inside wasn't squished down from wear yet. I have worn them several more times and they seem to fit fine now. These are great shoes.

I would highly recommend these shoes. They are very comfortable and true to size. I would recommend the leather exterior over the suede type, because they definitely hold up better for every day use. My black suede shoes are very beat up, although the actual structure of the shoe is in perfect condition!

I'm wearing these terrific Merrill clogs in black as I write this at 8:30am. They're my new go to slippers for cold winter mornings. They have styling and tread that make them also excellent for all day wear, indoors or out. Like Ugg boots, they are soft with plush shearling inside. They are true to size for my 7.5M foot. I expect these to last a couple of seasons, and am planning to buy a pair in another color as soon as it's available in my size.

These are wonderful shoes! I bought them to wear on a trip to a rainy place and they did just what I wanted, kept my feet warm and dry. Very comfortable to walk everywhere. I wear a 9.5 narrow and although these come in only a medium width, the lining helps make them good for all widths. Well worth the price!

Love this shoes, they are so comfortable and warm that I have purchased a second pair and have hardly taken them off. Highly recommend them.

I needed a slipper that had some extra heft on it for stability and for stepping out the back door to get the dog. This delivers both as a comfortable stable shoe and a warm and cozy slipper. With socks or without, they are keep my feet warm and that keeps me happy. They would be great shoes to wear out on the streets as well, but I am savoring these as super slippers for right now.

I love these shoes. I've been looking for warm weather resistant shoes and found them. I have three kids who play hockey, so I spend a lot of time sitting in cold ice rinks. My feet have always been freezing. So far with these I can last hours in the rink with out getting cold. They are comfortable and don't look too bulky.

Very pleased. These shoes are super comfortable. I put them on when they arrived and felt no need at all to take them off all night! They feel like slippers, but are nice and sturdy. I like that they easily slip on with no effort when I need to take the dogs out. Very pleased and highly recommend.

Very comfortable and warm. Great shoe to slip on to walk the dog. I followed the advice of other reviewers and ordered 1/2 size up - the shoes are a little barefoot, but since the black interior rubs off on my feet, I wear them with with socks. Not a fashion shoe!

I adore this shoe, so much so that I ordered a second pair in another color. I first ordered it in Chocolate Leather and was so impressed with both the comfort as well as the way the shoe maintains its good looks even when exposed to red dirt, that I also purchased the Dark Shadow Leather. The blue trim on the Dark Shadow is much more muted than it appears, which I like. I was somewhat concerned about whether the shoe would be too wide as I take a 11AA, but between my wool socks and the shoe's sheepskin lining, they fit perfectly (and I don't find that they make my feet hot). Also, this shoe is a true 11 and doesn't run short like some shoes do. I should also mention that I don't find that they make my feet look big. And in true Merrell style, these shoes are extraordinarily comfy.

Love thee shoes - my new house slippers! After buying lots of slippers and being unhappy with most of them, I have finally found the perfect shoe/slipper for around the house that also provides the comfort and support I need. I'm impossible to fit, and they fit (they even had size 10.5 which is impossible to find)!Loving them so far. Only caution - they are very warm!

Perfect fit and toasty warm. They\'re actually more comfortable than the slippers I just took off to try them on! Got these today, just before the first cold snap is predicted. Ordered Sunday night, shipped Monday and upgraded to overnight shipping by Zappos! Thanks Zappos, you all are great!

AHHHHHHH...........nothing like coming home after a long day and putting these babies on! They are so comfy on and they also have great arch support. I wear these for indoor use only but wouldn\'t hesitate to wear them outside if I needed to. Great soles on them and decent looking. Will definitely buy again!

I really like these shoes. They are wide for my narrow feet so I added another sole/liner under the fleece sole. They are very comfortable and cozy. The color is not quite as bright a purple in real life as it is in the photo.
