I love these shoes. I think the only bad thing I can say about them is they're a little too narrow, especially with fat socks. They're perfect barefoot, which I usually am at home. I wear them like slippers. I can go out to my Jeep, take out the garbage, and go unwind the Shiba in them. Purple is my favorite color, too.

Very cozy shoes; they're like wearing slippers. They keep your feet warm all day, which is what I wanted. I'm one of those perpetually cold-footed people. I feel like taking a nap when I slip these on. A couple of negatives: the sole linings came detached on both shoes right away. I dabbed in some glue under the linings, though, and that has fixed them with no further problems. The linings are made of furry stuff which does tend to flatten and bunch up in spots, as well. After some wearing they get little fur-nodules which I can feel even through socks, requiring me to cut them out from time to time. Not a big deal. Finally, they really do look like you're wearing slippers; they're a little bigger and clunkier than I had expected. However, I didn't buy them for style as much as for comfort, and for that they are wonderful.

I'm ordering another pair. I have some circulatory troubles that give me cold feet even on warm days. I bought these last year and have worn them pretty much every day since then. They're comfortable and warm and easy to walk in. And despite the easy on, easy off shape, I don't have to curl my toes to hold onto them. I can just walk normally in them. The only reason I took one point off, overall, is that the sole on one shoe started to peel off shortly after I got them. I shoe-gooed it, but it hasn't stayed mended. I've continued to wear them every day anyway, and it has only gradually gotten worse. The nubuck/suede uppers still look pretty good, even though I'm usually quick to destroy the tops of my shoes. I'm going to order another pair exactly like this one, and demote the old ones to wear while working in the garage.

Cozy and cute - Cozy sheepskin, cuddles the feet. I expected a lot more arch support though. I got the "Fir" which is great two-toned green.

Great Clogs - The look is awesome. The amount of fur lining is great. Would have preferred the clog to be more flat where the sole was shorter. The comfort is great. The fit is wider than I would like it. Either narrower fit or more fur. However, I kept this shoe because the look and comfort was irresistable.

Warm, comfy, convenient shoes - I am a fan of Merrell Products...all of their styles provide comfort and support.

Good house/yard winter slippers - I got these to wear as slippers since our house now has mostly concrete floors. They fit very well (I'm so happy they were available in 10.5). Nicely warm for winter. Sole makes them fine to wear outside. Not enough arch support for day wear for me. The insole is not attached (I guess to allow you to put your own in if you want) so I had to shoo goo them down to keep the insoles from pulling and bunching.

Merrill encore stitch - Extremely comfortable and fits well. Feet do get hot after wearing the shoe awhile.

Really great... but - Really good shoe, really comfortable, however, after a month of wearing them downtown Chicago everyday, the fuzzy inside on the heel has worn down and now I am suddenly getting blisters on my heel.

Cheesy sole liner - The Good- heel stays in well, top grain leather practical, better than suede; sheepskin on top of foot feels great. The Bad- cheap synthetic fleece liner on footbed can mean sweaty, stinky, cold feet. It’s removable so I was going to cut out real sheepskin insoles myself but ended up using my leather lined Naot sole liner instead which really helped for support which is minimal. For a few bucks more an authentic sheepskin liner would really elevate this shoe; uggs are expensive, but they feel is so great people love it.

Mmmmm - toasty! I bought these specifically to keep my feet warm in my drafty cubicle at work and they do the job just great. I have a very wide forefoot but these fit me just fine, so they may be a bit wide on regular width feet. They're also very comfy. They make my b-i-g feet look even bigger but probably wouldn't do that on smaller feet.

Warm and comfortable - This shoe is great for winter - very warm and comfortable.

Merrell Encore Chill Stitch - Most comfortable, well made shoe. The only thing I didn't like was the M logo on the top/front of the shoe. It is not removable and would definitely look much nicer without it. I was able to forget about the logo. I kept them because they still looked cool and were so comfy.

Comfy clogs - Though correct when they say waterproof, wet weather creates stains on the leather that for we changed them from "work-wearable" to not. Love the nontraditional clog sole (more like a hiking shoe). I will wear them a lot. Nice wide toe box without that wide forefoot look.

Cozy and convenient - My normal shoe size is an 8.5. I have an older version of this shoe (~2 years ago) that fits me well in a size 9. The fuzzy interior of the modern Chill Stitch is not as plush as in the old shoe, so an 8.5 fits much better. In other words, this shoe is true to size. I love how easy they are to slip on and off, with or without socks. I wear this shoe all the time for winter errands. Warm and comfortable!

Great clog - It’s fuztastic though wish there was a more spunky color option. I refuse to take them off!

Just what I needed - These are just what I needed for comfort, easy-on and off, and I can wear them for long periods of time and they feel great. They stay on your feet without having to grip with your toes, and I would recommend them!

Don't bother if you're over a size 9. This shoe will look awful. I ordered a 10.5 and while it fit fine, it made me look like I had giant clown feet (maybe the red color didn't help there). Embarrassing. If you have larger feet, Merrells Encore series is definitely not for you. I wish I didn't have to send them back because they are really comfortable.

Comfortable shoe in the beginning. The shoe seems to have stretched after 6 months and is now starting to be uncomfortable. I think this is due to the open design. Also the fabric is a magnet to dirt and spills. Very difficult to clean, and the color fades fast when cleaning. Think short term with this shoe.

Poor durability - I love the feel and comfort of this shoe. I loved the look when they were purchased but in less than 1 month the suede stated wearing off and the tip and top of the shoe became shiny, completely ruining the look.
