unfortunately I need to return these. The upper on top of the foot is very deep and digs into my ankle

These shoes are cool, a bit heavy for my foot but I like the fit and the color.

This would have been my third pair of Jungle Mocs... if they had worked out for me. The shoes were incredibly stiff...beyond the "I need to break these in stiff". The top of the shoe dug into my ankle. They had incredible arch support...much more than I needed. I ordered a 9.5 and they were true to size. Time to find another slip on.

I have worn the Merrill moc for years, and I wear 39, but this 39 is very tight across my instep and sides. I returned them and ordered a 40. They are still too tight. Also the tongue rubs uncomfortably with no socks, so I guess I will wear socks. I love the way the color, gunsmoke. Sometimes it looks grey and sometimes brown, depending on the light or what color pant you are wearing. I really hope they will stretch with time. The 40 is a bit too long, so I cannot go another size up.

I've been a Merrell fan for years! This moc did not work for me. The rim of the moc was high on the base of my ankle, tight and uncomfortable. Sadly I returned them.

Comfortable school shoe.

These are wide enough to be comfotable on a wide foot, but they have made the heels wider than a pair I bought a year ago, so the heels slip. The arch support has also been moved back on the innersole, so it is too close to the heel. These fit on these shoes is not as good as it used to be. Hopefully with aftermarket innersoles and heel cushions they will be wearable.

My feet are generally more comfortable in wides but these have not bothered me in the width at all. I did exchange for a half size larger than I usually buy. If they hade come in wide my regular size probably would have been fine. My only reason for a 4 and not 5 rating is that the outside of the right shoe just under my ankle bone tends to dig in slightly. Not enough to be painful but just annoying sometimes. I have worn and been on my feet all day a few times so far and have no foot or toe pain when taking them off at end of day. Worn with thin to mid crew socks.

Great show for winter walking. Provides good traction and keeps my feet really warm and dry. Just what I was looking for!

This shoe is very comfortable but slip off the heel when I walk. Will return and try a 1/2 size smaller.

Had to order a half size smaller than usual. They are sturdy and comfortable and look sporty. The arch support is above average, but I still over pronate and will eventually wear down the outside edge of the soles.

I love the feel of the shoe on my sole. However, the top of the shoe rubbed against the bend of my foot since it was too long. Sadly, this has to go. Maybe this will work for someone with a longer foot or a different foot mechanic.
