Comfortable school shoe.

These are wide enough to be comfotable on a wide foot, but they have made the heels wider than a pair I bought a year ago, so the heels slip. The arch support has also been moved back on the innersole, so it is too close to the heel. These fit on these shoes is not as good as it used to be. Hopefully with aftermarket innersoles and heel cushions they will be wearable.

I had a pair of wooly Merrill for about 5 years that I loved for winter but I burnt the toe a little tending a fire. Even with that burn mark I still wore them for 2 years. I have bad feet and these were just so comfortable I couldn’t part with them. I just bought the black suede ones and so far they feel just as comfortable and the sole seems to be better than my old pair. I’ll find out when winter arrives!

Merrell describes this shoe with the following: “M Select GRIP outsole delivers reliable traction and grip” This DOES NOT mean that these shoes, by any means, are slip-resistant. I purchased these to be utility shoes. While they are incredibly comfortable for my over-pronation, they will not at all serve the purpose of being a good restaurant shoe.

The top of the shoe was rubbing on my foot causing pain.

I usually wear a wide width but these shoes fit my big, wide feet. They are hearty, sturdy shoes, quality shoes. The sequoia is brick.

I bought these shoes for all day comfort and stability (I have balance and gait issues due to MS). They are great for stability but my feet hurt (ached) while wearing them after an hour. I love the shoe but not how my feet feel.

These are my favorite go-to shoes for the fall and winter! I have worn them every day through all kinds of weather including snow and slush and they have held up beautifully year after year. Excellent value for the price! Am now buying a second pair. Fit is extremely comfortable and true to size. I comfortably wear them all day long while running errands and even wear them for long walks in bad weather instead of my usual athletic shoes. Excellent arch support. And I can easily slide them on and off. Hope Merrell never stops making this style!!!!

This is the first shoe I have ordered that was absolutely awful!! It looked huge, it was huge and it looked like a man’s shoe. Zappos is great but this shoe is worth 0 stars. I will be ordering other shoes but not these

Just have to say I love these shoes. So comfortable from the minute I put them on! I just wish Merrell would bring back the black leather shoes I bought years ago. Thanks

I don't know if this was a manufacturer's error, but I ordered one pair of the Jungle Mocs, and the arch was so high that it felt like there was a sock in the shoe. I returned that pair, and ordered another, and exactly the same thing occurred. The weird thing is that it was only the right shoe. Both times. I love Merrills and I was dying for this shoe. But it just didn't work out for the reason of that odd bump.

I have two pairs now. I love these shoes, they’re comfortable & can be worn with jeans or fancy pants.

The fit and size were perfect; these were very comfortable right out of the box. I have a severely pronated foot, and these shoes offer very good support.
