As other reviewers have noted, the foot pad was narrow and the heel wide, which meant my foot felt pinched but the heal slipped around. I’ve owned many Merrells over the years and never had this problem. Had to return.

They really do fit well and have some decent support. If you want, you can even take out their insert, though it is very sturdy compared to most with very good arch support. My issue is I had achilles tendon reattachment surgery and subsequent arthritis in my big toe so...everything hurts. I need the support but also some cushioning. These shoes are not cushiony enough for me and of course style-wise, you can see, they're not exactly super stylish! But... they do have the rugged outdoor type of look if you like that and they're very sturdy and well made. Just not for me right now.

They were too stiff.

Unfortunately, these Merrells were tight, narrow and very small. I am currently in the process of exchanging them for a men’s size as I wear a women’s size 11, and they are basically the same shoe. I have bought several Merrell’s before and never had an issue with them. Not sure why these are super small. Zappos has been great in exchanging them.

These shoes feet great and are very comfortable!

Toe box feels narrow for the stated width. Does not provide grip on wet floor. I almost fell at work, so be careful. The first two days wearing them, I did have some discomfort. After two days they are comfortable for the 12 hour shifts.

Pretty much as described in reviews by those who had already purchased this shoe. I was lured in due to the wide toe box, as i have a small bunion on the right. On first fit they were comfortable. I made sure to wear in the house for the first day to make sure that one foot would not rebel; all seemed fine. I proceeded to outdoors the following day, and all continued to be good. After a few days I went on a hike, and there was some minor discomfort, as one would anticipate from such an activity. I am determined to continue on with wearing these shoes in, but may need to have my local shoe professional stretch the right shoe a bit. This has helped in the past. I love the color, not quite "red" but a warm burnt sienna, or cinnamon. I hope to enjoy wearing these for many years.

I just ordered a new pair of these jungle Mocs because on my previous pair the sides of the rubber peeled away from the shoes on each pair. In the past, I loved these shoes for stepping outside.. Easy on & off, true to size and great fit. I’m going to give them another shot with the new pair, but so disappointed in the rubber peeling back on each moc... I hope this doesn’t happen again!

I am glad to have found a "loafer" that gives me some side support and doesn't feel like my foot will fall out if I move too quickly. The only negative is they are definitely "clunky" - more a serviceable shoe than one to look pretty in. They look best with jeans. The tread has excellent grip so it is good to use on less demanding hikes. THe uppers have been treated to repel water, but they are not waterproof. I wear a size 10 normal width and the shoes fit me perfectly.
