These wide mocs were too wide in the heel area, causing my foot to constantly slide up in back. Unfortunately had to return them.

These are amazingly great shoes. They were comfortable right out of the box. Warm and cozy, great arch support and wonderful traction in wet weather.

I have owned four pairs of Jungle Mocs, the water resistant ones. I tried to buy another pair as a back up and found out they stopped making the women's version. WHY? The water resistant pair fit more snugly and held my foot with great structure. The non-water resistant pair is missing thickness in the lining (so the shoe clerk told me) and the back of the shoe slips up and down when I walk. I suppose I could have lived with it if I put a heel grabber in the back but the back of the shoe just felt shorter and wasn't comfortable. Going back the day after Christmas to return them. I am so disappointed, I'd have worn these shoes forever! Will now buy a pair (or two) of Merrill sneakers to replace the shoes and hope they last as long as the Jungle Mocs did and remain comfortable (am not a runner but I need support in a shoe). Fingers crossed. What's with eliminating the shoes for women only? Huh?

They are pretty comfortable. I needed wide because of a toe issue. They do not seem as Cold weather warm as the previous I owned.

Very comfortable and great fit. Not quite what I wanted, as they were to be for inside.
So I ordered the women's hut mock 2 shine. These work great for inside. Can wait to try the Jungle Moc's outside!

I bought the Jungle Mocs to replace a pair I bought at least a dozen years ago.I still wear them for yard work. So happy that I could get an exact replacement. They are so sturdy and perfect for everyday winter wear.

I have been wearing the same pair for over 10 years. With this purchase, they will still be worn but as my go to garden shoe. My new pair will be my main daily shoe. Great support and comfortable!

If you had asked me about my FOUR previous pairs of womens Midnight Jungle Mocs, I would have happily given 5 stars. Those fit as though they were custom made. It never occurred to me that the 5th pair would fit so poorly, so tight. All 5 pairs were the same size and width.

I agree with the reviewer who commented on the size of the opening. It seems to have shrunk. I have worn Merrell jungle mocs for at least 20 years--buying a new pair as needed--and I'm well aware that Merrell shoes like these fit tightly at first. This is a whole new level of tightness, and the small opening makes it difficult to even put them on!

Even with a thin sock, these felt tight. I think they probably would stretch over time. However, the arch was not comfortable. It didn't sit under my arch but was rather too far back.

I love these Merrill's. this is my second pair and the first one lasted way over 10 years and I am an avid walker and hiker. Yes I hike in these even without the ankle support. The wide width fit perfectly for a semi-wide foot like mine and are super, super comfortable. I love that they slip on and don't bind at the top like other shoes nor do they rub on the pinkies.

these come up very high onto my ankle bones, and that's not a happy feeling. i have two pair of the wonderful jungle mocs, but they are children's sizes since i wear a 5. i wanted to order childrens, but the colors and designs are just plan silly looking. maybe on bigger feet, my problem would not be your problem.
