I bought these shoes and wore them all over Europe. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I have wide feet and they were great.

Wonderful shoe, can\'t say enought good things about these MaryJanes. Second season and they still look great. I wear them a few times per week with jeans, capris, or shorts. They had no "break-in" time, they fit slim orthotics and are super comfortable. I would recommend them to you.

Great shoe for long distance walking without looking dorky. From a style point of view, they look best with pants or casual clothes. I walked comfortably in these shoes from 43rd Street East Side to 116th Street West Side of New York. They require no breaking in. Buy a 1/2 size smaller than you usually do.

Love them! Very comfortable - walked around NYC in them - no problems. I got the red and they are very cute!

I have had the Merrell Encore Mary Jane for a long time in blue, but I use them for a supportive slipper! With plantar fascitis, regular slippers cause me foot pain, but who wants to wear shoes in the house? These were perfect! So lightweight and easy to slip on. But, in Disneyland last month, I ended up wearing them all over the parks for acres of walking and even then they were so comfortable, albeit delapidated. I just received my new scarlet pair today! I can wear these without orthotics and have plenty of support, but there is room to slide them in if I feel I need more. If you plan to always use an orthotic, order your regular shoe size, otherwise you may feel more comfortable going a half size down.

I searched for a couple months for the best shoe for relaxed walking in Europe. These win! I am a 10W and have bunions on one foot & had surgery (swelling/super high instep now) on the other. Tried on a zillion shoes and these win. Yes, the heels move a bit, but only with the natural movement of walking. Your foot does stay put & since there's no back that eliminates potential rubbing. Strap is adjustable even over my fat surgered foot. Toe box is roomy and does not press down at all. I did buy Superfeet insoles to provide more arch support. The insoles that come with are okay, but if you have high arches consider Superfeet or other. These are so much less expensive than other shoes that I could justify that cost (and you can use Superfeet in many other shoes). I think these are way cuter than the Allrounder and looks good with pants & skirts.

These are my 3rd pair of the Merrell Encore. They are fantastic. They are true to size, lightweight and extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend them.

I chose this shoe because we were spending a weekend in Pigeon Forge, and knew we would be doing a lot of walking/hiking. This shoe took me up a mountain! It runs true to size and has decent arch support (I have high arches). It also kept my feet pretty cool. A nice alternative to sandals.

These are my second pair of the exact same shoe; the first ones have been so comfortable and cute I ordered a second pair for when these wear out. They are my summer every day shoes for work. It's not always easy finding comfortable well made vegetarian shoes, so when I find a pair, I tend to buy more than one. I love these.

The Merrell Encore MJ fits true to size and is very comfortable. I can wear this shoe all day and my feet do not get tiered. I would highly recommend this shoe. Zappos got this shoe to me in one day. Hope they continue this service now that Amazon has bought them.

The Merrell Encore is a sweet little shoe that I can slip off and on, has very good support and I got compliments on that I did not expect! The only problem I have is width. I have a narrow foot and did tighten the strap for fit. I was afraid it would drag on the ground, but the shoe had enough heel height so it was fine.

This is my second pair of Merrell Encores. I also got them in the wool. Love them. Right out of the box I slipped them on and took off to the store. No problems at all. Nice arch support, and they look good with anything you wear. Merrells are my new best friend.

These shoes are very comfortable and are a good shoe for the summer if you are looking for a little more coverage for your toes! My foot tires easily and the ball of the foot gets sore, but these have been great even when standing for long periods of time. I like the strap for a little extra security. The sides of the shoe are a little high and tight on my foot so that the first wearing (without socks) rubbed a tiny blister, but since then they\'ve stretched enough to be fine. No bandages required! I also have lower back problems and am comfortable while standing in these shoes. I think they\'re a little cuter on than they look, too. Highly recommend the shoes and Zappos!

Very lightweight, very comfortable. Almost like going barefoot. The strap across the top is velcro so you can adjust it for comfort. Love these shoes!

These are great little summer shoes. Comfortable, adequate support and cute with capris. I haven\'t tried walking in them all day yet, but I think they\'d do just fine. It\'s really hard for me to find a shoe that fits my wide feet and custom orthotics. These feel like they\'ll slip off the back, yet they don\'t. I also got the Circuit Breeze for a more casual, sporty look. Love them too.

Love the shoes! Comfy out of the box. My first pair of Merrells and won't be the last. Plenty of cushioning for standing at work. Easy to slip on for the weekend. Received them very fast with Zappos.

This is one of the most comfortable shoes I have as well as very cute! I purchased the red and have had so many compliments at work. ( I am a nurse, so comfort is paramount.) I plan to get the other colors as soon as possible!

Being vegetarian I am always looking for non-leather, stylish, comfortable, and durable shoes. These shoes fit the bill on all accounts! I have side feet and these shoes are so comfortable. At first I did not like that the back is so short & the shoes flopped. But after understanding how to adjust the straps, they work great. I am taking a trip to Italy and will wear these shoes on the trip there as they will easily slip off & back on for security & the long flight. To break the shoes in for my trip I have gone on several hour long walks and my feet & the shoes were great at the end. Thank you for such a wonderful product!

I absolutely love these shoes. Since developing rheumatoid arthritis a year ago I have been on a continual search for cute and comfortable footwear. These Merrell's are the ticket. They are very light, have a wide toe box, and are very adjustable for swollen moments. I have short (5) feet and finding the width necessary is a task. I'll buy more of these for sure. The only downfall is they tend to be a little hot, but I'm used to clogs so I think it's just an adjustment issue.

These shoes are wonderful. They are so comfortable to walk in, great support, and true to size. They are as comfortable as Crocs but are SO much more attractive looking.

These are very comfortable shoes and I wear them all day. I usually buy a size nine, but for some reason the nine was too big. The eight and a half turned out to fit perfectly.

This shoe surprises me. I slip it on every time I am looking for the most comfortable shoe in the closet! Started with the lime green, then ordered the beige which is nice with linen clothes. Has a nice little lemon stitch detail. Very lightweight and well ventilated, especially if you like your toes covered! Great summer shoes...or fall or spring!

These are great little shoes! I had tried some Keens sort of similar to this (Mary Jane-type of clog kinda shoe), but with my big feet, I looked like a clown. These are very lightweight, comfy, and quietly groovy looking. Love 'em.
