Fabulous show - I just returned from traveling for a week. I wore these shoes and forgot about all the discomfort I usually have when I walk a lot. They are more comfortable than sandals. Great shoe!!!

I like this shoe - I wanted a comfortable walking shoe that could get wet from rain or dew and keep on going. I tested it last weekend. It's fulfilling my expectations. There's good arch support. They got wet from walking in morning grass. They dried while I continued to wear them. I got a compliment on their appearance. What more can I ask for?

So comfortable! Merrell's Encore MJ is light, very comfortable, and exactly resembles the online photo. They slip on and adjust easily and stay put. The design on the strap is a nice, subtle highlight.

Comfort shoe - Tried this shoe at department store. Got my size and it was perfect, but didn't have the color I wanted, so I went online and ordered them. Got here so quick. I’ve shared on how comfortable they are to family and friends. I highly recommend this shoe.

Love this shoe! I have these shoes in 2 colors, the slate and beige. These shoes are so comfortable, I forget I'm wearing them. These are excellent for walking, touring all day long. I'm planning to wash the footbed or replace them with my Super Feet insoles since I prefer to wear these without socks. I've had extensive foot surgery and Merrells in general are always my most comfortable shoes.

Merrell Encore MJ - These are five stars for everything except color choices. I'd love to see some cool or wild colors.

Unbelievably comfortable - I bought these more for the comfort than the look, thinking they might be a little too athletic-looking, but I wore them with a casual skirt and got a spontaneous compliment on the appearance. They feel wonderful: stretchy in the toes, unbelievable support in the footbed. And, of course, the look is growing on me; the vine/flower detail on the strap is just too cute. The only thing that might be a problem is the heel: it comes up a little high. I stand but don't walk all day at work, and I think if I did have to walk, I might develop a blister or callus at the bottom of my heel. Overall, I recommend them most highly!

Loooove this shoe! These shoes are SO comfy. I work on my feet and I wore them to work yesterday -- absolutely lovely and they don't feel like they need any breaking-in at all. I was surprised to notice that the foot bed is actually removable -- wonder if you can wash it or get it replaced if need be? That would be excellent. I generally wear a 10, but the 10s were significantly too big, so I ended up buying a 9 instead, and it fits perfectly.

Cute, comfy shoe that is good for walking. I am hoping to be able to get a lot of use out of them when we travel to Europe this summer. I have always found Merrells to be great for travel/walking, and am hoping these will be the same - but lighter and comfy in warm weather.

Took a little getting used to how low the heal rests on my foot. I kept feeling like the shoe was gonna come off. They never did. I wear them all the time now. But had to still add arch supports. I have very high arches/plantar fasciitis. Its nice to have the adjustable on the strap for when my feet are swollen after a long day. I can adjust the strap rather than taking the shoes off. Barefoot is a big no no.

I like these shoes a lot. They are cute, comfortable, and can take orthotics. I've read complaints about the strap hurting. I find that it hurts just one of my feet, (the smaller foot, a whole size smaller than the other one), because it hits in the wrong spot. My larger foot fills out the shoe better, and the strap doesn't hurt at all! So, if the straps hurt, maybe the shoe is too big. I do think these shoes run large by 1/2 to a full size. I bought a half size down because I put orthotics in it. Without orthotics, I think I'd need a full size smaller.

A cozy little shoe, very easy to slip on and off. The heel is low, so don\'t expect it to hug the back of your foot. Perfect for travelling on planes, looks adorable with knee-high socks or a dress, and I get a lot of compliments on them. The strap on top chafes a little at first, but with break-in that quickly went away.

I have the Merrell Encore Breeze which are super comfortable and I could wear all day from day one. The Encore MJ do rub on the strap part of my foot so there is going to be some breaking in. Even with the rub I did wear them almost the entire first day. I\'m sure I\'ll have these as one of my favorite shoes as summer approaches. We live in a very rainy climate so I need shoes that can get wet and dry quickly, these shoes do the job.

These shoes are the most comfortable Mary Janes I've ever worn. Nice roomy box toe. I almost don't realize I have them on; heavenly worn with cotton ankle socks (I got them a 1/2 sz up for this reason) and keeps the perspiration down.

I have narrow, flat feet! I have narrow, flat feet with no instep. For me, I usually wear an 8 and I needed a 7.5 in these. The arch support is ok, but there is definitely room for an orthotic underneath if needed. Super comfy and breathable. The upside for my feet is that the strap is adjustable velcro. And you can slide right into them even without undoing the strap.

I want all of them - These shoes are so comfortable in the heat that I'd like a pair in each color. It gets VERY hot where I live (90-105 much of the summer), so I usually wear sandals and slides. I wanted something a little more substantial for walking, but I didn't want my feet to be too hot. I need good arch support, and I find these to work just fine. The very first day I got them I took a three-mile walk with band-aids in my pocket, but I got no blisters, and my feet felt just fine afterward. They are wide on my feet, but the strap helps keep them snug enough.

Comfy, but not enough support - I usually buy Danskos and Finn Comforts almost exclusively, but I'm tired of those styles and so I was hoping to branch out. If you don't have any foot or ankle problems but are on your feet a lot, these will be great for you. They are comfortable and roomy, although they may get a little hot. As for me, I need lots of arch support, and these don't quite make the grade. If you are a Dansko kind of girl, these don't provide nearly the same kind of support. But like I said if you don't need major arch support then these are very comfortable and cute in a sporty way. The silver one looks more lavender in person, which I really like.

Cute and comfortable - I really like the look of these shoes and they seemed comfortable so I thought I would be able to wear them for a long walk right out of the box. I wore socks, but the top strap rubbed blisters on the tops of my feet. If I loosened the straps much the shoes would not stay on my feet. I have a narrow foot, so I really need the straps to keep the shoes on, but one problem I have is that if I try to wear them without socks I can't tighten the strap enough because I run off the velcro. I guess I need to tuck in the strap to shorten it. I normally wear a 10, but got these in 9.5. They are big enough, but my left foot is slightly longer than my right and on long walks the left shoe hurts my extra-long second toe. I am sure a 10 would be too big, so I am keeping these even though they are not perfect.
