Love this sandal - I love everything about this sandal...well, there is one thing that detracts from my enjoyment, but after a few wearings you hardly notice it: where the straps cross near the pinky toe can pinch after a while. Other than that, this is a fantastic sandal.

Excellent desert sandal - I got the tan sandal and after reading other reviews, I ordered a half size smaller than I normally get. They fit perfectly, are comfortable, and light enough for the heat of the desert.

I think these shoes will be real comfortable-although I bought them for a trip & have not worn yet. I wear an 8 but bought a7--after reading the other reviews & it just fits. 8 would have been too big.

Fantastic fashionable sandal in big girl sizes :-) Love the shoe, have purchased three pairs for myself and daughter we wear size 11 and size 12. The 11 was a little large and the 10 worked . . . but the 12 was true to size. Very pleased to find comfortable and fashionable sandals with arch support in our sizes.

Terrific! These are such comfortable sandals. They required no breaking in.

Best summer sandal of '08! I love these sandals so much, I'm ordering a second pair in the same color (tan) just in case mine wear out and Merrell stops making them. What a great looking and comfortable sandal! They go with everything and still feel fantastic, even after eight or ten hours of wear. People constantly compliment me and ask me who makes them. I've been wearing them all through the fall - even occasionally with socks - and hate to think of the day it gets so cold that I'll have to put on closed-toe shoes. I don't think anything will feel comfortable after these.

Great all-around sandal! These sandals fit with no breaking-in or chafing from day one. They are my new all-around sandal since they have a more athletic sole than fashion sandals but are pretty enough to wear with skirts/dresses. I've been using these for everyday wear, including long walks and they are very comfortable.

Cushy and Comfortable - The best thing about these sandals is the supportive, contoured, cushy feel, without looking heavy and clunky. A friend of mine has these sandals and I've always loved the open, strappy look without a thong, and I was hoping they would be wide enough for my feet. They barely are, but after wearing them for two days, they seem to be stretching to what I need. I like the adjustability of the sandals with three different velcro straps (but alas, not the straps over my toes) as well as the suede insole and grippy outsole so they aren't slippery inside or out.

So comfy - I'd ordered several other brands of sandals until I finally found these - they're great! So comfy and cute, I had to order another pair. I ordered a 9 first, my normal size, but it seemed too large, so I ordered an 8 the next time and they fit perfectly. Thanks Zappos - in all ways you're a great company.

I was very pleased with my sandals when they arrived the very next day after I had ordered them. I was pleased with the free shipping from Zappos.com, but was even more pleased when they gave me a free upgrade to priority mail for being a new customer. When my shoes arrived they felt very comfortable on my feet. Since I have flat feet and heel spurs, I need an arch support, these felt good to my feet. I have worn these sandals all day at times and have been comfortable in them. They were not as cushioned as I had expected but gave good support. I would recommend them to a friend.

Great sandals - These sandals are just what I'd hoped they would be - very comfortable, great for standing and walking, cute, and at least somewhat feminine. It's true that they're wide, but that's good for me. I normally wear a 7.5 or 8 and a 7 in these fits me. I wore them on a trip where we did lots of walking and my feet didn't hurt at all at the end of each day. The only thing is that the straps over the toes are kind of tight on me, especially over the little toe, but they seem to be stretching out a bit the more I wear them. Highly recommended.

Great sandals - I like Merrills but so many of the styles are unappealing. I really like this shoe. It is very comfortable, adjustable, airy, and it looks nice on the foot. I've received compliments on this sandal.

Comfort galore! One of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, straight out of the box. Ordered the white ones in April, and went on a 2-week tour of Europe. Never had a problem, and we walked a lot!!! My mother-in-law bought a pair when she was visiting in July and loves them. Now I've bought the brown ones, and they're just great. They're adjustable so you can really get a perfect fit. They feel like you have nothing on your feet!

Great shoe - Very comfortable shoe with good arch support. I have a lot of trouble with my feet and these shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I got them in taupe because it's hard to find a nice looking lighter colored sandal. Now I'm thinking of getting another pair in black.

Comfortable and cute - These shoes look stylish while also being great walking shoes. I wore mine all over Disney World for several days and my feet felt great. I'll be wearing them on future travels as well. I particularly like that they look so cute! Comfort is important but so is style and these have both.

This sandal is very comfortable right out of the box. It is very adjustable – you can basically customize it with the velcro on the straps in several places. I don't think you can go wrong with this one!

Very comfortable! I have bought four or five pairs of sandals this year, trying to find something good for walking that's cool and not too ugly. These are fitting the bill. They are very lightweight and stay on the foot well without having to make the straps really tight. The thin straps look cute on the foot, and the design on the insole adds a nice touch. My only complaint about them is that the sole is a bit thin, and I wonder how long they will last. Still, I am enjoying them at the moment. Size: I sometimes wear an 11, sometimes a 12. I got these in an 11, and they fit well.

Bought shoe for European trip!!! Great looking shoe! You need to break in for a couple days first! Had blisters at first on top from straps, but then very comfortable.

Pretty Little Sports Sandal - When I think of Merrell, I think sporty, not cute. But these sandals changed my mind. They are cute enough for a skirt and comfy enough to actually walk in!

Great walking sandal. It is comfortable and looks nice. The clip is a nice touch so you don't have to adjust the straps each time in order to put on the sandal.

Feel just like slippers! I have foot problems that are worse in the heat of summer but have trouble finding stylish, comfortable sandals. These are the MOST comfortable I have ever tried. I highly recommend them.

Really great sandal for active women - I got this sandal because I was looking for something that would stay on my feet without sliding off, and had excellent arch support since I have plantar fasciitis and can't wear a flat/flip-flop type sandal anymore. The first pair I ordered in a 6 was too tight, but perfect length-wise. I had to go with a 7 for width, making the length a bit too much, but hey, I loved the shoe! They look great and stay on while active. There isn't as much arch support as I thought I'd have from the picture of the footbed, and the sole is rather thin, so the "cushiness factor" really isn't high. Otherwise, I really like these.

Best sandals - I always have foot problems in the summer because I need arch support and a little bit of a raised heel and a good heel strap. Arch isn't real high, but the total support and balance is great. I've worn these almost every day for two months, walking in NYC and in the country over uneven terrain and have not had any heel or Achilles tendon problems.

Great Walking Sandal - The "San Remo" lives up to Merrell's reputation for comfort. With the velcro straps, adjustments for a good fit can be made across the instep and around the back of the heel. The plastic "quick click" fastener is nice instead of a metal buckle. There is a good arch support in the contoured insole, the sole is quite flexible, and they are light-weight... all important for easy walking. Great for trips to Disneyland or anywhere that requires being on your feet all day.

Unexpected surprise - I bought these sandals expecting just an ordinary sandal. Well, I suddenly realized as I was walking along Broadway, that I was walking on a cloud. I had forgotten that I have problems with my feet. I was walking at such a brisk pace, as though I had a wind at my back, and it was all due to these great sneaker like sandals. What more could I want? My feet were gently enclosed with very comfortable straps and I truly felt I was walking on a sponge. I am thrilled!
