It is absolutely perfect pair of sandals. I cannot properly describe the feeling I had after putting them on the first time. It felt like I was born wearing them. I wear size 8.5, but have ordered size down and they are ideal. They were made for my feet. It is not easy to order online and have the shoes fit so perfectly. I walk on rocks, stones, no problem. The sandals are very feminine as well, not too bulky, they are sporty, but delicate. Small suprising details add to their beauty. They are the absolutely perfect pair of sandals. I cannot fully describe the feeling when I first put my new sandals on. They were made just for my feet. It felt like I was born wearing them. I wear size 8.5, but ordered down and they are ideal. It is hard to order shoes online and have them fit perfectly, but that is the case with these Merrels. They are sporty, I can walk on rocks, stones, no problem. They are very feminine as well, not bulky, delicate, but made to last. I am sure of it.

These sandals are perfect! They are adjustable in three ways, lightweight, and so comfortable. They make you want to run and jump, which is pretty good for a 67 year old. The color selection is quite large, but I love the bone/off-white color. It goes with everything but a formal. Zappos' service in getting another size to me when the first pair sent was too big was incredibly fast. All was done in 3 days! My friends love them too, and one has already purchased the same exact shoe. Great decision, and well worth the money they cost. I'm taking them on my cruise in 4 days.

I love this shoe. I love all my Merrell shoes. This one is the next best thing to going barefoot. It is easy to adjust to your foot specs with its many hidden velcro strips. It is true to size, easy to wash, looks a little classier than Tevas. I'm taking it to Europe, to try to wear them out.

I bought the Merrell San Remo sandals for use on a 10 day trip to Europe. I also bought 2 other pairs of walking sandals (one Clarks & the other Born brand) for my trip because I'd heard alternating shoes helps prevent footache. As it turns out, the Merrells stayed on my feet for the entire duration of the trip. Not once did I experience any discomfort, blister, or footache with these sandals. They were so comfortable and my feet were in such great shape (by comparison to my poor travelmates) that I decided not to try alternating with the other shoes because I didn't want to risk it. I chose these sandals because I wanted something that provided the necessary support but could be worn with skirts and casual dresses without looking ridiculous. Although I had read the rave reviews about these online, I'll admit my expectations weren't too high because I believed it was unrealistic to think there could be such drastic differences from one sandal to the next. Boy, was I wrong; these sandals are like no other I've ever tried. Everyone is different so they may not work for some, but they are worth twice their weight in gold for me. Speaking of value, I know the price seems steep at first for a pair of sandals but after spending so much money on a vacation I think this is a small price to pay to ensure comfort and enjoyment. Yes, you risk wasting quite a bit on sandals that might not work for you, but it's better than the risk of ruining your vacation with pain and discomfort. Finally, I want to mention that I used these sandals in combination with Footglide (by Bodyglide) which is an anti-chafing/blistering product sold at athletic stores. A similar product made by BandAid which can be found at Walmart works equally well. It looks like a little deodorant stick and should be in the footcare aisle by the insoles. I just applied it on my feet every morning before slipping into my Merrells for extra protection. I can't say for sure whether it was the Merrells alone or if the anti-chafing product helped to save my feet, but I will use both again on my next vacation just to be safe. These are a way step up from clunky trail hiking sandals, but with many of the same excellent features. They are fully adjustable, comfortable for long distance walking, and look great with casual skirts.

I wanted a Merrell sandal that was as little sporty as possible so I could wear it with dresses. This fits the bill, though I give up some of the arch support they are known for. I have 'duck' feet. Even though my width is a B, my toes spread over the sides of most sandals. Needless to say, many stubbed toes and these work.

Zappos service is amazing! I bought a pair of San Remos early in the season and have been wearing them constantly. They are comfortable, attractive (even on my feet!) and have worn really well. I just ordered two more pair!

I love these sandals! They are light as a feather with good support. They fit a true size eight. Have gotten many compliments.

Great shoes, great fit, great service from Zappos. I recommend trying on any shoe before ordering on line. Each brand of shoes seems to fit everyone different. It sure is nice ordering from Zappos to get the size and color you want delivered to you door.

These are great sandals. They are very comfortable. I have a lot of foot pain and it is difficult to find any footwear that doesn't hurt my feet. I wore these all day while walking about Yellowstone National Park and my feet felt the best they ever have after walking all day. Great sandals! I'll be buying more in the future. Zappos has been great to do business with; the several pairs of shoes that I have bought always arrive quickly and there has never been a problem if I need to make a return.

These are very comfortable and I do a lot of walking carrying heavy things! I wear an 8.5 but my feet are quite wide. The 9 was perfect, the 8 was good on the footbed, but the strap was a little tight on one foot. With the 9, the straps are very comfortable with no reaking in needed. A great thing about the narrow black straps is these don\'t look ridiculous with a skirt.

These sandals are light and very easy to walk in. They satisfy my main requirement for shoes, which is that they are comfortable and stable enough to walk several miles. I now own two pairs. An extra bonus was that I recently discovered that the back strap can be pushed forward, thus turning the sandal into a slip on that actually stays on your foot (for the most part).

This is my fourth pair of San Remo sandals. I love them! Last year I bought a black pair and a tan pair to take to Europe because of the favorable reviews I read on the Zappos website. Someone said there was no break-in period--that you could wear them right out of the box. This is true. I found them to be very lightweight, yet supportive in my arch (where I have tendonitis), and comfortable for walking long distances. This year I bought two more pairs. Besides being comfortable, they are cute! I highly recommend this sandal. I love the Zappos website and customer service. I am never afraid to order anything on this website because shipping is free, things arrive immediately, and returns are also free.

These shoes met my needs for a brown sandal that was functional as well as good looking. The straps are flexible (adjustable) enough that I could make them fit perfectly. I love how they look on my feet, and I have worn them both to work and for play. They seem to go with just about every style. Overall I am happy with the Merrell brand. I absolutely love these sandals! I was searching for comfortable and at the same time great looking sandals for my trip to Morocco for a long time. I tried Keens and a variety of other brands that target an audience that enjoys adventure and outdoors living. I was unsuccessful! I bought, wore at home and then returned so many pairs of shoes and then, I found these sandals! They were comfortable straight from the box. I like adjustable straps and they are so cute. Since my trip is back-packing trip, I am limited in luggage, but these sandals will definitely make the cut. Zappos - thank you!

These shoes are awesome! From the moment I took them out of them box and put them on, no problems! I wore them for the whole day the first day and no blisters, no sore feet, no break in period at all. Even wore them to an all day amusement park last week, again to my surprise, the thin soles gave the support I needed. I was very surprised. I thought the thin soles wouldn\'t be worth a hoot! They are! Merrell has one great shoe here. I\'ve always been a Teva fan, but these are as comfy or more so then my Tevas.

Very comfy! I was looking for sandals to wear on vacation and found the perfect choice. Even after several hours on a walking tour, I had no foot or back pain. I wore them out in the evenings too - very versatile. Tip: In order to avoid blisters at the start, I did use leather stretching lotion on the straps to get them soft and buttery. They\'re great!

These sandals are great. They are sized correctly and I can walk in them all day. I did not have to break them in. They provide good arch support while so many shoes these days have not. They are certainly stylish. I am extremely satisfied.

I recently purchased my second pair of these sandals in black. Last summer I bought these sandals in tan and loved them. I'm a school teacher and on my feet most of the day. They are very comfortable. The style is good for casual and a little dressier wear. I would recommend them if you're looking for comfort and style.

These shoes run a little smaller than the norm. They are very comfortable and do not need to be broken in.

These shoes are super comfortable. I have a few other pairs of Merrell shoes and they are all super comfy. Because I have a balance problem I need shoes that will stay on my feet. These feel very secure and bend with my foot as I walk. The cushioned sole keeps my feet from getting tired when I do a lot of walking. I have to sacrifice style for comfort and sure-footedness but it would be nice if they were a little more special in design. If you look at the shoe from the side it looks heavy with all the straps but I guess that's what makes it so secure on my feet.

I bought these sandals to take with me on a two week trip to Europe and they were great! Very comfortable and also stylish at the same time. I have some foot problems and I have to make sure that I have some arch support. These just fit the bill!
