The style and color are great but the fit not so much. I have large feet with big bones but my feet feel as though they are swimming in these. They feel as though they were made for a man. The sides rub my ankle bones and the back rubs my Achilles most uncomfortably. I had planned to wear these without socks for water sports but I can barely walk a few feet in them without discomfort. Disappointing to say the least.

I thought I loved this shoe, but ouch, the next day not so much. I have somewhat wide feet, plantar fasciitis, and high arches. These colorful light weight shoes were immediately comfortable. I wore them around the house for a sort while before deciding I would try them on a walk around the block. No problems and still comfy. The next day, my feet hurt! I waited a few days and tried them again with the same results. I wish I could return them because the only use I will get out of them is to wear them while sitting looking pretty.

I've had these a few months. So far the stitching is coming out all over the shoe and also has developed a sort of squeaking noise. Still a very comfortable lightweight shoe. I don't think I would buy these shoes again. "The North Face Women's Padda" looks like a better option.

I fell in love with the waterpros over a decade ago -- I always use them when I travel because they aren't as obnoxiously BRIGHT WHITE AMERICAN SNEAKERS as a lot of other walking shoes. I'm a little disappointed in these. I bought the same size I used to buy, but they felt a bit smaller and I found that they weren't made as well as they used to be. The top lining tore on my first wear and some of the stitching came undone. I honestly wish I could have returned them given the price, but they were too worn since I bought them and took them straight overseas for a two week trip.

Love the look of the shoe but it is very narrow at the top. I kept these shoes although I should have returned them right away! When I wear a thick sock I can not notice so much but when I wear a thin sock the shoe is very uncomfortable. Yesterday I had very large blisters on my toes from these shoes. Very disappointed!

cute shoes but don't hold up. the threaded is pulling out in many places and I have worn them maybe 5 times. They're going back.

These fit nicely on my narrow heel and felt custom made for my high arch, but were too narrow at the through the width. Made my feet sore after about an hour walking in the house. They are cool looking in the mint and gray but will have to send them back.

I knew as soon as I opened the box that the toe box was too small but I tried them on anyway. I don’t understand how you can make sneakers with a small toe box. I used to squish my feet into too-small shoes when I was younger, but no more. I thought these might be good for walking but there’s no way they would be comfortable with my toes jammed in. I usually wear an 8.5 but with some brands I need a 9 so I ordered both. The 8.5 is too tight overall and the 9 is both too loose and too narrow in the toe box. The back is high and because of the shape it digs into my ankle on both sides. The biggest problem is one of the pretty design elements. There’s a thin round paracord running along each side that holds some flat paracord in place that is used as part of the lacing structure. The paracord rubs against my little toes.They’re not even comfortable to stand still in, nevermind to walk in. It’s too bad because they’re cute, but they have to go back.

I wore these on a four day backpacking trip through Pariah Canyon (Utah to Colorado River in Arizona). The trip involved multiple river crossings (sometimes hiking through the river) and was about 45 miles long. I loved the fit of the shoe, but on the fourth day, my right shoe fell apart. If you look at the picture, you can see that the straps/tabs meant to hold the shoelaces also loop down to a cord that is running along the length of the shoe (i.e. near the sole of the shoe). On closer examination, this cord is fraying on both of my shoes. For my right shoe, the shoelace strap/tab simply snapped so that I could only fasten my shoe through the two remaining leather eyelets (and of course duct tape). Pretty shoe... but maybe the marketing people had too much influence. It isn't hardy enough for real trail work.

Cute and comfy shoe, but the tongue on the left side never stays up and they squeak with every step I take. I wouldn't expect these issues with a pair of shoes at this price.

I bought these shoes in teal a couple of months ago and wanted to love them. The style and color are very appealing and for the price I was hoping for great fit and comfort, as well. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to tell how these shoes would be until after I wore them several times - too late to send back. First of all, at first the fit seemed fine - my usual size - length of the shoe was perfect. The width, though, seemed a little big, and after day one of wearing I had two blisters on my heels. I kept trying, though, and added some blister pads to the back of the shoes, which helped. My feet still never felt supported after the blister problem was helped, and seemed to move around in the shoes too much. After walking in the shoes for a while, my feet actually hurt (I did not feel much arch support). Usually, the sneakers/athletic shoes I buy are average width - I have never needed narrow. Usually, arch support in a shoe like this is great for me so I am not sure why these are not working. Very disappointing. What did finally help so I can wear the shoes is replacing the Merrell soles with inserts I bought at the drugstore. My feet finally feel supported enough so I can walk my dog in relative comfort.

I tried to love these shoes but they hurt the balls of my feet. The first pair ran really big so I returned them and got the second pair the next day. Easy returns and next day shipping. I couldn't ask for better customer service. My account was credited 7 days latter! The second pair felt good trying them on but about walking around the house with them. They started to hurt the balls of my feet and I got a blister on the back of my left heel. I wore them several more times but my feet really hurt. I thought maybe you had to break them in. I tried other foot beds but this didn't work either. I'm sending them back and buying some Keens instead. They fit better and won't hurt my feet.

Great style and color. It hasn't even been one month and the inside of rim where your ankle sits is breaking and some type of metal is probing out therefore leading to rubbing on back of ankle to blisters and scratches from just walking with them. My feet hurt as well as lower back. It feels like there is no support at all. I feel like I have had these sneakers for months and they are not even one month old yet. I don't like them at all.

Love how these look and wanted to love them. But they felt too big, kept rubbing on and off my heel. Ordered them in a half size smaller and the same problem happened. Was bummed to return them.

Not good for narrow feet, but some Merrell oxfords are - I wear narrow shoes but get by with medium athletic shoes. I had Merrell water shoes a few years ago that fit perfectly and let my hot feet breathe. These shoes do not fit my narrow feet. They look bunched-up when I lace them up. Also, I can't use the special lacing method for narrow feet (involving the top part of the laces) with these shoes, so my feet slide down to the front of the shoes, causing them to hurt. A big problem: The straps on the sides of the shoes LOOK like they adjust, but they don't really adjust anything that matters. Finally, the right shoe is just too short for my foot, even though my left foot is longer. I wore these shoes outside before I realized they were killing my right foot, so I really should stop wearing them. Make sure they really fit before you keep them: my right shoe has plenty of extra room in it beyond my big toe, but it still kills my foot. I may take them to a shoe shop to have new holes put into them to see if threading them in a different way will make them fit me better. On the plus side: they are breathable and the green ones look great.

The tongue on the right show rubbed against the top of my foot - regardless of whether or not I was wearing socks. I noticed this after wearing them for a just a few steps and am returning them. Otherwise, these are really cute - great arch support, super lightweight, nice firm base and heal.

Imagine my surprise, when I anxiously opened the shoe box that felt ever so light, and found a pair of size 14 Merrell flip flops!!! Returning today! Hope to receive the correct shoes soon!! It was the right box, wrong shoe!!

I tried loving these, I own an old pair and decided it was time to get a new pair. I never dreamed they wouldn't be the same. Took them on a trip and could barely finish a trail. Since I wore them, not sure I can return them...not sure if I received a defective pair-the toe bed bends into my toes, if it wasn't for that fit-they would be exactly as my old ones. Not a tight fit, just bends causing the toe section to cut in to the toes. Disappointed,

My daughter tried these. They were uncomfortable. We tried the next size up. Still uncomfortable.

I love Merrells, but these were the most uncomfortable pair of shoes ever. The way the shoes were made created a sharp lump in the material at the back of the heals and it shredded my feet within 10 minutes. I returned them for another pair, thinking it was a defect. The second pair had the lump in only one shoe, but still, too painful to wear.

I usually love my Merrells, but not this time. The shoes have a hard lump of material right at the top center of the heel - it gave me blisters on both feet within 10 minutes. Not wearing these again.

These are great shoes except for one major problem. The bands/ribbons fray and break very quickly. I used these shoes for fly fishing and within 5 days the band/ribbons had completely frayed through. I am sure these shoes would be fine if they never got wet but if you use them in water beware. Badly designed product. They went for style and form over function. Do not buy for water use.
