Felt great on bottom of foot and instep. Great arch support but not quite wide enough across forefoot.

These are very comfortable shoes! I was looking for a pair of solid walking shoes that I could mainly use for light hiking, and these were a great fit. They're as light as my Asics running shoes which is exactly what I wanted. (Not some huge, heavy, and clunky hiking shoes.) I also wear full length inserts and they fit perfectly in here - I didn't need to size up or anything. I am normally an 8½/9 and I ordered a nine. They fit perfectly! Highly recommend these shoes. I ordered the charcoal/pink and they're lovely.

I love my shoes, as soon as I come home from work I put them on. They are great in all kinds of weather. They do run a little big so be careful when ordering.

These shoes are terrific. They are very light, but very comfortable. I have worn them hiking as well as just walking around town, and I have found them to be great. I am impressed at the comfort and support for as light as they are.

These shoes are great! The fit is good and really hug my feet. I have many foot problems and have custom orthotics, but can wear these shoes without the orthotic inserts. The best Merrell shoes I have ever had and I have about 6 pairs of Merrell.

My shoes took several wearings to break in but now they are very comfortable. I love the way they look with jeans.

First of all, Zappos has the most amazing service and quick shipping ever! Secondly, I love these tennis shoes. They are my all time favorite tennis shoe. Great arch support, thick cushy soles, no rubbing anywhere, they make your feet look smaller than they are, and they are well constructed. If you have feet issues, you won't be disappointed with these shoes. They are comfy even if you wear them all day.

Ordered this shoe as a walking shoe for a European vacation and very glad I did! It's a great lightweight shoe that I wore almost right out of the box with no blisters. I did end up with one blister but it was more because I was wearing low socks and they did rub. If you have any spots that normally get blisters, you may want to have a few bandaids on hand "just in case". The mesh on the foot will keep your feet warm on chilly fall days; however, might be too "airy" for winter wearing. My feet were kept dry on a slightly rainy day, but I don't think these would hold up to a torrential downpour though. Overall terrific shoes. My feet generally can fit into normal width shoes, but do on occasion have to look at a wide width (generally way too wide for my foot). The normal fit my foot fine with a bit of strap adjustment!

I bought the Merrell Siren shoe for my wife; she likes to walk. She tells me "the fit is perfect, the comfort, the colors, and foot support is great. And, the bonus is a lightweight shoe."

This is one of the best fitting pair of shoes I have ever tried on. They worked perfectly with my orthotics (I buy a half size larger to accommodate them), feel sturdier than more traditional walking shoes and they have more style. I wear them all day: to walk my dogs and then to stand all day while I teach. They needed no breaking in time and I can hardly stand to take them off my feet!

These walking shoes felt perfect from the moment I put them on. Like slippers, almost! I swear, I was shocked. I have a hard time with tennis/walking shoes. I want them to be comfortable but so many of the comfortable ones are so geeky looking. Not these. These you can wear with jeans to do whatever, not just on your morning or evening walk. Absolutely love them. They're comfortable and appealing. Even my husband who thinks all sneakers, except for Converse, are geeky looking, likes these. The most comfortable pair of shoes I've owned in years.

I instantly found these shoes comfortable to wear. They are pretty true to size and seem to have a little more toe room. The colors offered are great for jeans and casual dress.

Instead of calling this the Siren Sport, they should have named it "The Amazing Foot Shrinker!" My true-to-size 8.5's look like little delicate size 7s in these ultra comfy, very stylish shoes. I love these so much I immediately bought my mom a pair who was leaving for Disney World the following week. They passed the ultimate walking test, a full 4 days walking around DW, a lot to ask of any shoe. These match so much and are my favorite go-to shoe!

These shoes are great. I broke a little toe and had no comfortable walking shoes after it healed. I ordered three styles and returned two. Then I re-broke the toe in a second accident. Today I finally got to wear these shoes on a long walk. They are close enough to perfect to make me very happy. BTW, the Zappos credit went through so quickly I only had to pay my credit card bill for the pair of shoes I kept. Thanks Zappos!

I love these shoes! They are lightweight, and are well cushioned in the heel for my for my heel pain. Merrell is the only brand I can tolerate right now. Luckily, the shoes are nice looking!

This is the perfect day hiking shoe! It is lightweight yet has enough support for walking on dirt/rock trails, and hiking. Plus it isn't so bulky that you lose your femininity.

This sneaker helps not only with great arch support for plantar fasciitis issues, but helps my weak sprained ankle by solidly centering your feet in the shoe with the heel cup that Merrell has in this sneaker. I can walk and feel very safe and solid in these. No feelings of feet moving in or out (pronation issues). I love them. I've bought in more colors too; they're that good for my feet.

I have worn a lot of Merrells and either my foot has gotten wider or their lasts have gotten narrower, so I was really pleased to see this shoe offered in a wide width. They fit great. I do take out almost all insoles and use higher quality insoles (Super Feet) for these types of shoes and with the better insoles these shoes are extremely comfortable. The color wasn't my first choice, but it's not bad.

This is my second pair of Siren Sports. Very comfortable right out of the box. No break in period. Great for long walks and when you have to been on your feet for long period of times. I wear a full sole orthotic and they work well with these shoes. I cannot rate the arch support that comes with the shoe as I do not use it. Two warnings. Do not wash them as they will shrink. This happened to my first pair and must now wear them with very thin socks. Also, not good for cold weather when you are walking around outside. They are ventilated and your feet will feel the breeze. Tried this once in Chicago in December. My feet were freezing.

These shoes are great. They're my second pair and wore the first ones out (pink) I ordered 1/2 size bigger as usual with the siren sport. I have a high arch, need great shoe so I went to my local drug store, bought the small gel arch support and tweaked the shoe to my foot. Sporty, cute and they don't look ginormous at the toe box like all other athletics. I wear them most of the time.

A delight for my feet and for me. I can't remember when a pair of shoes felt instantly so comfortable. Could feel the arch support and I love the style and color.

I have very hard feet to fit! Rather on the narrow side. I usually try on 100 pairs before finding the right fit. These shoes are awesome. They are soft, yet supportive and I am looking at the other colors to add to my wardrobe.

I bought these for a trip to the Grand Canyon, and while we didn\'t do any hard hiking, the shoes were comfortable, very supportive and kept my ankles from turning on some of the rougher terrain. They are comfortable, true to size, breathe really well and look pretty darn good! I would recommend highly if you want good arch and heel support with a hard toe for protection.
