Love this shoe. Lasts forever (about two years of hiking and dog walking in miserable weather). This is the third pair I have had. I have flat feet and have no problem with the arches.

This shoe has a lot of nice features: wide stable heel base, gusseted tongue to keep rocks out, reflective bits by the shoelace guides. It's just a tad too tapered in the toe box to accommodate my left foot comfortably due to a bunion. For a normal foot, I'd recommend it.

This is my 3rd pair of Moab Ventilators. I try to keep one pair fairly clean, for weddings, etc. sorry I've never worn out a pair, just kinda retired the first ones. These keep me grounded and balanced. I'm a female commercial/industrial electrician and desert rat. I like something sturdy on my feet. I'm trying a new color this time! Love my Merrells!

I had never heard of this brand Merrell before so I was a little skeptical about trying them. However, after reading the rave reviews I decided to purchase them. They are more than what I had expected in a sneaker! I have flat feet and I suffer with pain in my feet almost all the time. Due to other health issues, my doctor has recommended that I walk 30 mins. each day and that can be difficult when you are physically challenged. These sneakers feels so good to my feet; didn't have to break them in. I LOVE THEM. The color I chose is Sand, and I love that color because it doesn't show dirt and they are so stylish! Happy feet makes for a happy individual!

After foot surgery that left me permanently unable to bend my big toe, I am limited to wearing shoes with a stiff sole. I want to remain physically active (yardwork, hiking) so I needed a durable shoe that laced down close to the toes. This shoe is sturdy, comfortable, and easy to put on in spite of my limitations. This shoe exceeded my expectations.

I've never owned a pair of Merrells, so I bought these based on all the great reviews. They didn't disappoint! As stated by previous reviewers, these were comfy right out of the box with no break-in needed. I wear them every day with no complaints. The arch could be a little higher in my opinion, though. I had been wearing Brooks, which offer a little more support to the arch. The Merrells make me feel as though my feet are tipping inward (just a touch) so I sometimes find myself correcting my gait. Otherwise, these are fantastic.

This shoe is in between a tennis shoe and a hiking shoe. Use it mainly for walking my retrievers. Purchased 5 1/2 M and found I had room in the shoe for a thicker hiking sock. Would recommend this shoe. Would purchase another one.

These shoes are like clouds on my feet! The toe box is nice and wide, the arch support and comfort is amazing! I wore them hiking and I will never go back - the soles are so nice and thick that you barely feel the rocks below your feet. I could wear these walking all day and never get a blister. Perfect shoe.

I love these shoes. They hug my heels, no slipping up and down, and my toes have plenty of room to spread out. I was worried since these shoes are not available in a wide width, which I usually need, but as other reviewers have stated, these shoes have a generous toe box. No wide width needed for me. I'm going to order another pair in another color.

After going though chemotherapy I developed neuropathy in my feet. I could not find a pair of shoes that my were comfortable because my job is working with dogs and I am on my feet my entire shift. After reading the reviews I decided to give this pair a try but to be honest I was not really sure these were the answer. For the first time in my life I have a great pair of hiking shoes that did not need breaking in. My neuropathy is totally bearable and I am able to do double shifts pain free. I highly recommend these to anyone who have serious foot problems.

I tried on these shoes at a store in the mall and loved the way they felt immediately. I plan to wear them on vacation and do not want to worry about my feet so these are perfect. They are very comfortable with excellent support and the toe box does not pinch while the heel is nice and snug (I have narrow heels). The store did not have the size/color that I wanted and could not even order them for me so I came to Zappos and received them within a couple days. For my next pair I am going straight to Zappos! They are well worth the price and highly recommended.

The Merrell Moab Ventilator it's my favorite Merrell shoe. I have worn them for several years and purchase about 4 pairs a year as I use them to walk between 15-20 miles each week. They are durable, and comfortable and i average between 400-500 miles on them before I replace them with another pair of Moab Ventilators.

Another successful purchase from Merrell! I bought these shoes for my time in Africa. They are extremely comfortable, well ventilated, and they provide a lot of stability. I constantly walk on uneven surfaces and my feet feel secure. I normally wear a 7½ and got an 8, and that fits great! I also have very wide feet and there is plenty of room in the toe box - no crunching at all.

I use this shoe for walking and am very pleased. It is a very stable shoe and provides lots of support. There is room for an orthotic if needed.

I have this same shoe in the hiking boot and also own several other Merrell shoes. I had worn custom orthotics & battled various foot issues but the fit of the Merrell shoes has greatly improved my foot problems, especially pronation issues. I am a loyal Merrell customer because of this. I wanted a 2nd pair of comfy everyday shoes to wear & ordered these because I was so happy with the hiking boots in this style. I also wear the Siren Sport 2 shoe and found the Moab & Siren Sport 2 to be similar as a good comfortable shoe with excellent support.

I chose these because my Siren Sports were beat up. I read reviews where people said the Siren Sport 2 were not as good as they were, so I bought these. I really like these so far. I wear them for daily exercise walking. The toe box is very roomy and I had to tighten the laces before they felt familiar. That made a huge difference. They give a lot of support for my ankles as well. I find my self walking with more energy which for me is a big deal.

For a person like me who loves to hike but has multiple foot problems, sinking a hundred dollars on a pair of shoes is a bit daunting. A podiatrist once told me that on a scale of 1 to 10 my arches are a 12. Finding walking shoes that support my sky-high arches is very rare. Since I've had good luck with Merrells in the past I decided to go this route again. I have to confess that the glowing reviews on this shoe attracted me. Zappos had my shoes to me very quickly. I usually wear a size 9 and found these to be true to size. They felt pretty good out of the box but of course the real test was going to be out on the trail. I hiked a rugged trail in them for their first outing and they felt surprisingly good...no break in time at all. Wow. I didn't expect that. These shoes balance my feet very well, preventing them from rolling inward or outward. The arch supports are insane (a good thing) and I found that the heal of the shoe fit nicely with no rubbing. The tread on these shoes is very nice. I could feel some of the sharper rocks though the soles a slight bit but not to where it was at all bothersome. Merrell has a real winner here...worth every penny.

This is a great versatile, everyday shoe. I bought two, one for hiking/walking, the other for all the time. Great shoes!

Great hikers. I had Merrell Siren hikers before and loved them, but I switched to the Moab because they have better traction/lugs and we're just more comfy by comparison. That was a surprise since I wore my Sirens for years. I only wish Merrell had better colors. Most combos don't appeal at all!

Love my Merrells! I have 5 pairs for everyday and play. Bought this pair as we were headed west for a vacation and I didn't want to pack my mid-hi hikers. They are nice and snug in the heel (no slipping), and roomy in the toe (to accommodate a thicker hiking sock). As with the rest of my Merrells, needed to go a half size up from my normal size. Wore them throughout our trip to the Rockies and the Badlands and the Black Hills. Comfortable right out of the box and made for sure footing on some pretty uneven surfaces. You can't go wrong with these.

I finally had to admit that my old Merrell hiking shoes had had enough (after the 14er mountain climb this summer in Colorado). I loved those shoes so much that I was reluctant to replace them. I'm happy to say that the new Merrells do not disappoint. My feet feel so supported...great arch support, great lateral stability so that my knees don't start hurting, great ankle support without being constricting and a roomy toe box that is kind to my challenged toes. Thank you, Merrell!
